DISSCIORDA/PASTAFROLLA-split tape-(Italy - diy - 200?)

Carletto of Dissciorda gave me this tape long time ago and when I deciced  to pass it to Radiomoltov blog , I realized that i couldn`t index it properly.There are lots of unlisted tracks on it so I did put it aside waiting for help,eventually only 2 months ago I met Alfredo(the drummer of Dissciorda) who helped me to index it properly.(many thanx Alfredo)
I do not  know much about Pastafrolla rather than they were  from Caserta and friends of Dissciorda .
Alfredo wrote this small introduction for this post:
"Dissciorda formed in Caserta in 1996. The name of the band is a jolly teasing of all ‘”Dis” bands , which at the time were springing up in the European HC scene (“sciorda” means diarrhoea in dialect), but it is also a way of recalling  Discharge and above all their lyrics of pacifist anarcho-punk  inspiration, depicting possible post-nuclear war scenarios and actual horrors such as famine, exploitation and the violence on which capitalism is based. The first line-up included Carletto (guitar/vocals), Giovanni (guitar), Alfredo (drums), Alessandro (vocals) and Ciro (bass). A few months later Nicola took the place of Ciro, and the band started playing their own tracks and touring between the regions of Campania and Puglia (mainly in squats and social centres). Their first self-produced 7-inch,  “Il marchio della vostra infamia”, was issued in 1999, in collaboration with Ennio (Kollapsed Reality), who in the meantime had taken the place of Nicola as bass player, whereas Andrea had taken the place of Alessandro as lead vocals. 
Between 2000 and 2001, Dissciorda toured again but in 2002 they had to face yet another change in the line-up, as Daniele (ex Pastafrolla) took the place of Andrea as lead vocals. Their live concerts were becoming rare, in spite of the fact that the band continued to create new tracks. These were included in the LP “Alienation Breeders”, issued by Agipunk in 2005. The record got a good review in Maximum Rocknroll  (although they tore the artwork to pieces!). After the record was issued, the band played in Modena and Rome, the last two concerts of the band. A few months later Dissciorda disbanded, although not in an explicitly straight way." 
 
Here a slide show I made with the pics that Carletto and Alfredo passed me 2 years go,as far as I know there is no footage of their gigs and they never played outside Italy so this slide show is the only chance to see them playing.
To complete this post I am also attaching a review of their cd taken from Maximum Rock`n`Roll  magazine.This cd is still available as free download here  on radiomolotov blog.
"Damn this is really good! I like this more every time I listen to it. Unfortunately it´s fair to say this record looks really bad. With a logo stolen from Discharge and some less-than-exciting picture you´d problably pass this up. But this band is not a Disclone. DISSCIORDA plays some really out-standing punk that is recorded with the perfect amount of clarity while remaining intensely driving and raw. I love the vocals - they are not the least bit crusty, but are instead youth-fully shouted in both the English and Italian languages with passion and convinction. In fact the vocals remind me of FINAL CONFLICT. The reason i review for MRR is for bands like this, I would have not heard this until it was ten years old otherwise. As far as I know this split tape was not  distributed,Carletto made few copies to pass it around to a small circle of friends and musicians.Thanx to Babs for the English translation of Alfredo`s introduction.The recordings of both bands are just excellent.Enjoy it.

HOARST! - Komertz - (Cat Killer - Germany - c60 - 1992)

93 copies of this c60 released by the German label Cat killer in 1992. Hoarst ! seems to be Knoe  7,a tape music project
which existed from 1990 to 1995. Exploring the weird and senseless in electronic music.

A special private humour, loads of dilettantism and no fear for the big unpopular noise were its main attributes. Influences in random order: à;GRUMH..., Max Goldt, Delerium, Sesame Street, Skinny Puppy, Pippi Langstrumpf, Pankow, Adolf Tegtmeier, Ministry.
A lot of cheap equipment was harmed during the countless recording sessions in these years. Supported by some friends with their musical talent and equipment. You know who you are. (info taken from discogs)

ETAT DES STOCKS - Bruxellisation Vol. One - (Red Neon Tapes - Belgium - c60 - 199x)

Etat Des Stocks is the personal project of Patrick Parent, head- master of the historical tape label Red Neon Tapes.

I  wrote already about him when I posted 3 of  his compilations called New Hippies, as I said before all his productions were not for sale and he was only trading them with other tape-productions:the true spirit of the cassette label culture of the 80s and 90s.

This tape is  pure experimental electronic music.
Very good indeed.

R.A.M.A. - Nell`Illusione Di Essere Vivi...- (demo-Crepacuore Tape-Italy-1994)

Hardcore Punk sang in Italian language for this band hailing from Formia, Italy!!
This band came out from the ashes of  Immagini Allo Specchio, whom also released a demo tape that   I will post in future.
The cover sleeve has also the lyrics (Italian only).
Crepacuore was a little tape label managed by  Rocco Lombardi who is now a very talented graphic artist involved in the world of comic books and exhibitions.

Sexual Freedom Coalition - Annual Report -1996/1997-(UK-zine)

"The Sexual Freedom Coalition (SFC) is a pro-sex campaign organization and political pressure group based in the United Kingdom that challenges the laws which take away the sexual freedoms of consenting adults and also challenges the media and official bodies that show disrespect for sex.
The Sexual Freedom Coalition is a national UK voluntary organization whose aim is to campaign for sensible reform of Britain's antiquated and repressive laws concerning consensual sexual practice between consenting adults, and ensure no new laws creep in to prevent consenting adults enjoying sexual freedom.
The Sexual Freedom Coalition was formed in April 1996 by a group of people who decided that sex clubs such as Whiplash should not be raided and the 10th Sex Maniac's Charity Ball should not have been stopped by the police, putting its charity at financial risk.
A march was organized starting in Soho and ending at 10 Downing Street where a petition "Sex Please We're British" was presented to the Prime Minister.
Since then, there have been many triumphs and the phrase "the sexual freedom of consenting adults" has become commonly used. The SFC is consulted by the Home Office and the press, and is unique in the world. They have joined together with Outsiders and the Erotic Awards to hold conferences and events to allow campaigners to network and work together.

No Unauthorized is a french electropop band that formed in 1982.
Landmark indie french electro pop from the hometaper underground.

AKYANOVA - Asynchron - (Trummer Kassetten-Germany-c90-1995)

AKYANOVA  is one of the many projects/bands of Philipp Munch also involved in  Ars Moriendi , Cell Auto Mata , Colony Collapse Disorder , Incredible Three, The , Mandelbrot , Monokrom  , Rasputeen In Heavy Leather , Rasputin , Rorschach Garden, The , Show Of Exaggeration , Synapscape , Templegarden's-   

Trummer Kasseten  was a very prolific tape label from Germany managed by Lutz Pruditsch.

The music is here is dancefloor electronic music of different styles.

I received it from Trummer Kassetten  in 1995 and then passed as digital format to Misterioso Impossivel blog 2 years ago-that link isn`t working any longer.

MOMIDO 4t - Good & Ugly Mixes Of Hope & Despair (c60 -seld released- Germany -1990)

Momindo 4t was a side project coming from the band Momido 7-I  posted a very good album on cassette by Momido 7-here that page.
Momido 4t was 2 people(a couple) from this band from Dusseldorf ,they  self-relased this tape which is electro punk played with drum machine and effects on vocals.
This tape came out  with a  small booklet (included here) with the lyrics.
It was distributed in Italy by Contaminated Productions.
A great tape-work of punk+electro and political lyrics with good writings.

Mecanismes was a series of compilations released by Groupuscole Vision in France in the beginning of the 90s.
They feature electronic experimental bands and projects.
All the cassette were coming with colour sleeve and insert  on xerox copies.
Limited edition of 50 copies.


On the vol. I we find Retrocontrole,Spiritus Naevus,Condominium,le Manifest de L`Art Discret.


On Vol II there are contributions by Lady Die,Malaena,Aleni,C.P.U.,
Sir Grubeska.

Very good compilations for people into
industrial,noise,avant-gard and more
experimental  sub-genres.

Another tape released by Destroy all Music,good enough I have found one copy of their catalogue so here I am going to copy what they wrote to introduce this tape on their catalogue.

N.I.S.-Presagi Di Un`Insulsa Rovina-(cdr-2008-Italy-diy)

N.I.S. is a crust punk band from Foggia,Southern Italy.
Nico (former drummer of Brandelli D`Odio) is playing with them,and he sent me this little introduction.

"N.I.S.(irreversible system`s necrosis)was born in 2007.In 2008 they record their first demo" Presagi Di Un` Insulsa Rovina" 9 tracks of "violent crust punk".

In 2009 They record a promo of 5 tracks "Specie Di Scarto", 3 tracks on a 7 inch split with Humus,and 2 tracks on an international compilation "Destruyendo Fronteras" released by the brazilian webzine "Crust or Die".

In 2011 They are back in studio to record 3 tracks that will be part of another split 7ich,this time with Warpath.

And then lots of gigs,gigs,gigs, ...they also took part to a protest gig! Under the wall of CIE* in Bari.

In december 2013 they finish to record 8 tracks of metallic crust punk.A new album will be released soon."

*CIE is a "house" for the illeganl immigrants where they are actually imprisoned upon their arrival in Italy.

v.a.-PORTUGAL INDIO, Contras A Comemoracoes Dos Descobrimentos-(Crack! zine-Portugal-199?)

A portuguese compilation released by Crack! zine,I guess in 1992.
The  subject of this compilation is the  anti-celebration of the american continent`s discovery.
Bands included:Subcaos, Inkisicao, Corrosao Caotica, Rumor Caustico, Desordeiros, Hipocondriacos,
X-Acto, Noite de Navoeiros,Evisceration,P.V.L.A.,!The music here is hc punk,grind core and crust punk with political lyirics.

The only band or project offering us a strange ambient that seems  to be made with field recording is Culto(O)Culto.

"German label run by Matthias Lang which evolved out of the IRRE Fanzine he published regularly during the early 1980's covering New Wave, Post Punk and the German Underground.
With his 3rd Tape Compilation Ein Herz In Not he started IRRE Tapes which was mainly active in the late 80s/early 90s and released material by the likes of Brume, Maeror Tri and City Of Worms and loads of lesser known and stylistic different artists (Unpleasant Surprise, Fuckedtones, The, Magic Moments At Twilight Time, Doc Wör Mirran) covering the whole range of the Independent Underground from Experimental Electronica to Guitar Pop.
In true DIY spirit he supported the international network of small labels and fanzines through editing the free IRRE Newsletter to spread infos and contacts and writing occasionally reviews for various publications. Most of his Compilations should be seen as an attempt to promote lesser known artists and labels. Without doubt he was one of the driving forces of the German Tape Scene.
He finally called the label days quits in 1994/1995 but soon re-appeared as collaborating and networking artist Mr. Moto (2). Note:
All of the releases where copied on demand and continously numbered but only a few had an explicit Limited Edition."

HUMAN SHIELD-Friend Of Sinners-(tape-Oral Gestation Artefacts-USA-1997)

Limited edition of 300 professionally-duplicated chrome cassettes with handmade packaging. Recorded live with no overdubs in two sessions, the first one with Zygurat Consortium and Andy Ortmann and the second with John Wiese and Beta Carrotene as guest musicians. 
Oral Gestation Artefacts was an experimental music label that existed in Saint Louis, Missouri from 1994 to 2001. 
It was founded to encourage local musicians from different music genres to experiment with one another in a free improvisational setting and to release recordings by such artists. 
It also encouraged sonic experimentation between musicians and non-musicians, as well as musicians who were proficient on traditional instruments to experiment with non-instruments. Artists studying at local universities also participated, and O.G.A. (as it was known) was also active in the mail-art and visual art genres.(info from Discogs)

I spoke already about Evan Griffith when I posted the mail art documentation Monster.Evan was also running a diy distro called Mitsey distro and doing comics,videos

Another compilation released by the South African label Sound Action back in the mid-90s.I already posted some stuff from this very good label. As for the introduction, I am attaching here their introduction taken from the booklet that was coming with this tape!

T.U.O.B.-t.u.o.b.-(Red Neon Tapes-Belgium-c60-199?)

Another great tape released by the Belgian label Red Neon Tapes back in the 90s.

T.U.O.B. was an English duo active in the 90s,doing  home-taping and playing noise experimental electronic music.They also had a tape-label called FIS.

BRANDELLI D`ODIO-Non c`e` Uscita-(There Is No Way Out)[performance/video-original recording 1995/6,final editing 2014]New&Unreleased-Eng.Subs.

Here another video performance by Brandelli D`odio-I spoke already about this  squatters collective active in the 90s!
Here that post where you will find more info about this band,also their double cd+ zine "Sopravivvo?" is still available as free download on radiomolotov blog.

This performance is the 4th idea of experimental theatre conceived  as opening for their gigs during the tour in 1995 and 1996,it was a short piece of only 10mins and it did involved at the least 6 people.
The main message was the lack of freedom into the  mental hospitals and the slavery of the psychopharmacological drugs.

This performance was mainly made in the dark with very little lights created by the slide show,therefore those images are quite dark and the overall quality of those videos is compromised by the lights effects of the slides.

The music is the original soundtrack recorded on a 4track recorder and the quality is pretty good,also this is the only soundtrack that seems a real songs rather than a musical piece for a theatre,and it is the only performance for which Brandelli d`Odio never printed a flyer to introduce it during their gigs.Those footages are totally unreleased and never used before.More info in the video.Enjoy it!!

EYE - Aphazia 1992-1998 (Eye-cd-r-Australia-1998)

Here the amazing project  EYE- I wrote briefly about them when i posted the fanzine Blatant Propaganda,here the link in case you missed that post!!!
This is a great projet of political orientated Ebm from Australia,they were managing a small label and a fanzine.
Here  their actual webpage where this cd does not seem to be listed but there is more news about them and the new cd.

Massive Love n1 (Sept. 1991) + Massive Love n2 (June 1993) [fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland]

I  wrote already about Resistance Productions when I posted the compilations "Punk is..." here if you want to check that post.
Resistance Prods  was a small diy label managed by Pablo,Lara and Fts in Switzerland in the beginning of the 90s.
They were publishing the zine called No Sancturay and few others + tapes.
When Pablo and Lara became parents they started  Massive Love zine,as they called it a zine by punk parents for punk parents.
On those 2 issues you can read articles about home-birth,disposable diapers,inoculation,kids vegan diet,home schooling,lesbians mums,vegan diet during pregnancy and lactation + letters and few reviews of other zines.Here I am going to write down the introduction that Lara wrote for the first issue. Very interesting little zines with a lot of  current issues.

v.a.-THE DREAM THAT COULD AWAKE-(Exprel-France-c60-1993)

Very good compilation tape  released on Exprel label managed by Cyril Adam in France  during the 90s.
This compilation came out in a VHS box with a info-sheet , a lollipop  for the first 50 copies and an A5 sized booklet including info and graphix  for each band included.
I am sorry I cannot find the booklet and I will add it here as soon as it will come out from my messy archives of fanzines.
The sampler include very good  artists of the experimental electronic scene of the 90s.
