SL&C n10 - (Fanzine-South Africa-200?)

 Fantastic fanzine from South Africa with lots of very good articles, flyers, pictures, interviews, reports, and music reviews! It came out with a great CD compilation that I, sadly, lost...! Sorry, it is not included with it. About a real introduction I attach their "Welcome Note" from the 1st page. And, by way SL&C stands for Peace, Love & Chaos. Enjoy it.

SEE YOU IN HELL -2003-2007 - (Not Very Nice-USA-200?)

 

See You In Hell is an Hardcore Punk band from Brno,Czech Republic,they are active since May 1999 and changed line up in February 2016!! They played 1000 of gigs and the major HC Punk festivals in Europe.

Their Official Webpage offers to us info photos, discography, archive and much more.This CD is a compilation of old stuff taken from 1-8 from Útok, 9-19 from Umět Se Prodat, 20-22 from Split With Mass Genocide Process, 23 & 24 from Sekec Mazec 3 Comp. The folded gatefold 7inch size reports lyrics in english.Also this album isn`t available on their Bandcamp Page.

I was lucky enough to see them playing in a squat in north London around 2008,if my memory is right(?)-They were supertight and very powerful, a fantastic hardcore punk live act. Enjoy it.

WAR/SYSTEM-No Gods At All - (Self Released-UK-200?)

 6 tracks of fast and grinding HC punk with political lyrics by this british combo active around 2007/2011, and I am not sure if they are still playing. A Discogs page about them is  here yet this CD-r is not listed there.

I Frode/I Vermi/Brigata Libertaria/Rango Tank-(Self Released-Italy-20??)

 4 ways split  co-self released CD-r by 4 Italian bands playing street/oi punk but I Vermi playing a sort of 60style garage rock yet all united in the DIY spirit and the antifascist and squatting  ideas.

DESTROY YOUR SYSTEM-Distruggi Il Tuo Sistema-(Self Released-Italy-200?)

Destroy Your System is a punk band from Rome(Italy) active since 2002, they play old school HC Punk sung in Italian language. 

This CD-R seems to be their very first production, it is not listed on Discogs.It came out with a a small booklet with lyrics and info.

TEMPLE OF DAGON-Rlyeh Or Bust-(Self Released-USA-200?)

Temple Of  Dagon is a band from Los Angeles (USA) playing stench metal/crust, they, in fact, define their own music as Lovecraftian Crust/Grind/Thrash!

I have no info about this production, their Bandcamp Page doesn't list this Cd-r ep and it does not appear in a Discogs Page dedicated to them.

It contains 4 well-recorded tracks of pure metal/crust madness where their love for the myths and legends by Lovecraft is well revealed.

CALL THE COPS...-Demos-(Self Released-Belgium or USA(?)-200?)

Another kind of mistery tape here. It appears that there are many bands with this name, unfortunately, the cover sleeve only reports the song titles, an email address and a  b/w picture with the musician's names.
I was told that this band is from Belgium yet I think they are from the States, I have no idea if they are still active or when they were and if they released other productions.

Music-wise they play a form of  HC Punk similar to Anthrax(UK), Dirt, F.U.A.L. and a few bits to Schwartzeneggar,2 angry vocals (female and male), twangy and fast guitar riffs, powerful drums and a fine line that cross the melody with the rough intents.

The recording of the Rough Demo(Side A) is pretty good, while the other side(Basement demo) is a bit rawer yet quite enjoyable too.

A track called Paris `05 makes me think that this cassette came out after 2005, a track named Paris is included in the compilation We`re All Society Victims(Vol 1) released in 2008 by the American label Resistance In Noise, and it should be the same band but...

200 copies were pressed and it offers us 17 songs, it is definitely a great tape for people into old school anarcho-punk making the verse to bands coming out from Crass Records.

RETAQUE-Demoliendo El Estado,Sembrando La Libertad...(Equador,Grabado en S&M Producciones,200?)

Hardcore Punk singed in Spanish is the music that this band from Equador offer us in 15 songs.Good recording and a folded cover sleeve with pics and lyrics complete  a  nice tape work.

It was distributed by  Bajo Perfil,Noseke Records and Illegal Rekords.

DISSCIORDA/PASTAFROLLA-split tape-(Italy - diy - 200?)

Carletto of Dissciorda gave me this tape long time ago and when I deciced  to pass it to Radiomoltov blog , I realized that i couldn`t index it properly.There are lots of unlisted tracks on it so I did put it aside waiting for help,eventually only 2 months ago I met Alfredo(the drummer of Dissciorda) who helped me to index it properly.(many thanx Alfredo)
I do not  know much about Pastafrolla rather than they were  from Caserta and friends of Dissciorda .
Alfredo wrote this small introduction for this post:
"Dissciorda formed in Caserta in 1996. The name of the band is a jolly teasing of all ‘”Dis” bands , which at the time were springing up in the European HC scene (“sciorda” means diarrhoea in dialect), but it is also a way of recalling  Discharge and above all their lyrics of pacifist anarcho-punk  inspiration, depicting possible post-nuclear war scenarios and actual horrors such as famine, exploitation and the violence on which capitalism is based. The first line-up included Carletto (guitar/vocals), Giovanni (guitar), Alfredo (drums), Alessandro (vocals) and Ciro (bass). A few months later Nicola took the place of Ciro, and the band started playing their own tracks and touring between the regions of Campania and Puglia (mainly in squats and social centres). Their first self-produced 7-inch,  “Il marchio della vostra infamia”, was issued in 1999, in collaboration with Ennio (Kollapsed Reality), who in the meantime had taken the place of Nicola as bass player, whereas Andrea had taken the place of Alessandro as lead vocals. 
Between 2000 and 2001, Dissciorda toured again but in 2002 they had to face yet another change in the line-up, as Daniele (ex Pastafrolla) took the place of Andrea as lead vocals. Their live concerts were becoming rare, in spite of the fact that the band continued to create new tracks. These were included in the LP “Alienation Breeders”, issued by Agipunk in 2005. The record got a good review in Maximum Rocknroll  (although they tore the artwork to pieces!). After the record was issued, the band played in Modena and Rome, the last two concerts of the band. A few months later Dissciorda disbanded, although not in an explicitly straight way." 
 
Here a slide show I made with the pics that Carletto and Alfredo passed me 2 years go,as far as I know there is no footage of their gigs and they never played outside Italy so this slide show is the only chance to see them playing.
To complete this post I am also attaching a review of their cd taken from Maximum Rock`n`Roll  magazine.This cd is still available as free download here  on radiomolotov blog.
"Damn this is really good! I like this more every time I listen to it. Unfortunately it´s fair to say this record looks really bad. With a logo stolen from Discharge and some less-than-exciting picture you´d problably pass this up. But this band is not a Disclone. DISSCIORDA plays some really out-standing punk that is recorded with the perfect amount of clarity while remaining intensely driving and raw. I love the vocals - they are not the least bit crusty, but are instead youth-fully shouted in both the English and Italian languages with passion and convinction. In fact the vocals remind me of FINAL CONFLICT. The reason i review for MRR is for bands like this, I would have not heard this until it was ten years old otherwise. As far as I know this split tape was not  distributed,Carletto made few copies to pass it around to a small circle of friends and musicians.Thanx to Babs for the English translation of Alfredo`s introduction.The recordings of both bands are just excellent.Enjoy it.
