v.a.-V.I.T.R.I.O.L Vol 2.- Atrax Morgue / Lvnvs / Hex Minora / Mangled -(V.I.T.R.I.O.L.-Italy-)

Great sampler with 4 uncompromising noise esoteric artists from the last century...
Atrax Morgue is the solo project of Italian musician Marco Corbelli which he started in 1992. Also, he owned Slaughter Productions label.  Artist and label covered already in this blog.
Devis G. another amazing artist explored in this blog when I posted music by Teatro Satanico, Spin, Abra Had Abra...
Hex Minora Female noise artist who also ran BV Tapes. Also already researched here.
Mangled is Gianfranco Santoro, owner of Discipline Produzioni and FinalMuzik. I wrote about Discipline Produzioni a few times now.
V.I.T.R.I.O.L was an obscure Italian cassette label run by Devis Granziera.
Cassettes 1 through 10 on the label were limited to 30 numbered copies each. All were packaged in a special package with insert. Cassette 11 could only be obtained by mailing in the vouchers from the inserts of the first ten cassettes.
The year of release is not stated anywhere, this production came
in a cardboard box; inside there is a female sanitary napkin which protects the cassette.
Also contains a rose paper sheet with data and a voucher for another V.I.T.R.I.O.L cassette.
Enjoy it.

Humor Cáustico-Ao Vivo-Gaia Em Peso(2005)-(Self Released-Portugal-2005)

Humor Cáustico was an HC Punk band from Oporto(Portugal) active last decade, I m  not sure if the music and images here were ever released as a  proper production, in fact, Rodolfo(the guitarist) passed these files to me as mp3s on a disk probably 13 years ago, since then I have lost touch with him.
Humor Cáustico appears to be on a very old Portuguese compilation called Portugal Indio that I posted back in 2014, it seems to be the same band.
In these live recordings, we can listen to 12 well-recorded tracks of furious HC Punk with political lyrics sung in the Portuguese language.
I add some pics that were included with these files.
A big thanks to Rodolfo for this nice digital gift.
Enjoy it.

WARNING Vol 3-(Fanzine-USA-2006)

Number 3 of this amazing American fanzine, it is been already covered in this blog with Number 1 and 2. and number 4.
The people making it used to call it "A zine for Punks and Thrashers focused on hardcore punk, politics, and political punk."
In this issue long and interesting interviews to Broken Bones, Aghast, Deathcharge, Mishap + a few info about other bands, some political messages, cool pictures, and the usual very crust-punk graphic layout.
Enjoy it.

Illusion Of Safety · Life Garden · Voice Of Eye ‎– The Nature Of Sand - (Manifold Records-USA-1995)

Since 1983 Illusion Of Safety has been the ongoing project of Daniel Burke, working alone and with various collaborators. They have released over 20 CDs on labels such as Complacency, Die Stadt, Experimedia, Odd Size, Silent, Soleilmoon, Staalplaat, Tesco, and Waystyx, and played over three hundred concerts in Europe and North America. IOS' work has been called ambient, post-industrial, electro-acoustic, noise, sound-collage, improvisation, and power electronics, but they are unwilling to limit their work to any given style or method. The sonic character and affective substance of the music will often shift abruptly within each  recording and live performance.
Life Garden was formed in 1989 from the ashes of Maybe Mental whose two core members were David and Su Ling Oliphant. They invited poet George Dillon to the group, but tragically he passed away by the time when they released their debut "Caught Between the Tapestry of Silence and Beauty" (1991). Subsequently, Life Garden added Peter Ragan and Bill Yanok, who eventually departed in 1995. Life Garden broke up in 1999.
Voice Of Eye is the duo of Bonnie McNairn and Jim Wilson who began working together when Bonnie joined the avantgarde ensemble Cruor based in Houston (Texas). After Ure Thrall left Cruor, the other members continued on as the noise/industrial combo Esoterica Landscapes 7, eventually paring down to Bonnie and Jim who then changed the name to voice Of Eye. In the early 1990s, they collaborated with Ure Thrall's Terminus (2) project and recorded and performed as part of the short lived ensemble Asianova. (all the info ffrom Discogs)click me

v.a.-They Ain`t Seen Nothing Yet!!!-(Nabate-Belgium-1991)

A benefit compilation for the Poll-Tax prisoners (for demonstrating against the tax or not having paid).
The Poll-Tax was a particularly vicious tax introduced by Margaret Thatcher's government in the UK. Millionnaire living in mansion pays less in poll-tax than a low-income family in a small house. No other modern democracy has ever introduced a tax that takes no account to the ability to pay.
The London Poll-Tax Riot took place on March 31, 1990.

It was released July 7, 1991, at 1548 copies.
I think the DREADFUL song is probably one of the most bizarre tracks Nabate has ever released, not only because they mixed grind-core with reggae-dub. DREADFUL was a combo hailing from Glasgow and was famous for never rehearsing and I think we can hear it on the recording; -b! Nevertheless, I think it was a good idea to do those punk/dub experimentations. (from Nabate blog)

Nabate was a DIY punk/hardcore label from Liege, Belgium. Founded in 1986 by Al Plastic and Manu (29) as an anarchist infoshop/bookstore and operated until 2000. click me

Under The Oak n1-(Fanzine-UK-1989)

Under The Oak was a British fanzine focused on heavy and doom metal. This is the first issue featuring interviews to Hellbastard, Saint Vitus,  Mercy, Destiny, Brocas Helm, Solitude Aeternus + lots of music reviews and some cool pics/graphics.
A very good independent publication searching the true spirit of heavy metal fans and maniacs.
 Here the editorial.
Enjoy it.

MAKHNOVCINA-Demo-(Self Released-Italy-1988)

Makhnovcina was the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Революційна Повстанська Армія України), also known as the Black Army or simply as Makhnovshchyna (Ukrainian: Махновщина), was an anarchist army formed largely of Ukrainian peasants and workers[1] under the command of the famous anarchist Nestor Makhno during the Russian Civil War of 1917–1922. They protected the operation of "free soviets" and libertarian communes in the Free Territory, an attempt to form a stateless libertarian communist society from 1918 to 1921 during the Ukrainian Revolution.(from Wikipedia).
This is instead the old Italian punk band who took the name from this army,  and this is their only tape released in 1988.10 tracks of angry and furious HC Punk with political lyrics.
I must admit I have very little info about this Italian band, they were from Northern Italy but I am not sure exactly from which town and I guess this is their only production, anyone out there with more info, please leave a comment.
Enjoy it.

HEX MINORA-Sabrina-(Metamorphosi-UK-1995)

Another great cassette by this uncompromising female noise artist, owner of  BV Tapes.
This project and her label have been covered a few times in this blog.
In this tape-work, Hex Minora plays her usual psycho-sexual dark electronicks.
8 tracks of harsh noise mixing loops, weird vocals messages, cold synth textures, subliminal deviated feedbacks and hypnotic blasting sounds.
For all the lovers of certain obscure esoteric electronicks...
Enjoy it.

Game Of The Arseholes n6-(Fanzine-USA-2004[?])

I have written already about this zine when I posted the number 5, this was the personal zine made by  Stuart Schaber in Portland back in the last decade.

This is a short issue covering  a few subjects: involvement in the punk DIY scene, Thrashfest 2000, a few reviews and some cool pictures.
Here the 2 short introductions for this issue.
Enjoy it.

SEXUAL MILKSHAKE-Space Gnome And Other Hits-(Teenbeat-USA-1990)

Formed in the late 1980s in Harrisonburg, VA, Sexual Milkshake originally consisted of three members: Sexua, Lmil, and Kshake (also known as Greg Allen, Chris Callahan, and Todd/Rusty Massie, respectively). Their musical philosophy could best be summed up in a comment Greg Allen once tossed off: "Tune schmoon, just play!"(from Teenbeat Records Official Webpage).
Describing the music of this crazy band isn`t an easy task, I might say Art Rock, bizarre free jazz, improvised semi-genial passages or all of this mixed together as a weird milkshake, maybe...
For all of you curious to know more about this rather obscure band then you`ll find 2 biographies on a page dedicated to them in the above-linked webpage, where you can get the other productions by this trio while this 7 inch appears to be sold out.
To complete this post I am attaching a couple of videos so you'll have an idea of their rather strange performances.
Enjoy it.

SNIGMORD-Demo 2012-(Alerta Antifascista-Germany+Halo Of Flies-USA-2012)

"from the ashes of The Assassinators, comes SNIGMORD.
a bit more Norvegian (a member boasts quite the Norsepunk resume), and yet perhaps even catchier than their past band(s) somehow.
in the spirit of great melodic Scandinavian punk rock and punk still being fucking political without being shite."
(taken from Halo Of Flies Bandcamp)

Alerta Antifascista Records is a label, distribution, mail-order, and booking agency for loud and heavy music based in Hannover, Germany.
The label offers many sub-genres of punk, hardcore, and metal and adopts an anti-fascism attitude.
Formerly known as Fuckin' People Records.(from Discogs)
Their Bandcamp page is here
This tape came out with a folded cover sleeve reporting lyrics in Norwegian and English + address and a few pics.

A great tape if you are into melodic yet powerful and fast HC Punk with political lyrics.
Enjoy it.

CULT OF THE WOMB-Cult Of The Womb-(Inner-X-Musick-USA-c50-1986)

A short-lived John Zewizz side project. Cult Ov The Womb (Initially called Cult Of The Womb) was a solo project of Sleep Chamber founder John Zewizz. Cult of the womb released two cassettes and a few tracks on various artists releases between in late 1985 and 1986 all on Zewizz's Label XXX (Inner-X-Musick). Cult Ov The Womb was non-musick. Both full-length cassette releases were collages of sound centred around TV news/shows clips about James Oliver Huberty and the San Ysidro McDonald's massacre, as well as VHS samples from porn movies and main-stream movies like "Apocalypse Now" and "Taxi Driver". Very little to no actual instruments were used.

Inner-X-Musick was a label run by John Zewizz of Sleep Chamber.
Starting in 1979, the name of this label began as Triple-X (or sometimes XXX Organisation). Sometimes it was also called Innersleeve. The name Inner-X did not solidify as the main name for this label until around 1986.

DINAMITA CRISIS N15-(Fanzine-Spain-1992)

Dinamita Crisis was an independent fanzine published in Spain (Almeria and Sevilla), it was focused on extreme metal with a deep interest in the very Spanish underground metal scene.
In this issue articles about Unbounded Terror, Repugnance, Falsa Ilusion, Mortuarium, Bastardos Del Metal, Intoxicacion Etilica, Angel Negro + tons of music and zines reviews.
A very good tool to research the lively death/thrash metal scene of the Spanish peninsula during the early 90s.
In the Spanish language, only.
Enjoy it.
