 Split mini CD with Morče playing a sort of quiet-noise while Metxaдoн Фÿp Katpин has a track of dronish noise ending with a piano melody. Quite an interesting mini cd here! ABRAXAS - Skin Thrills - (Total-UK-199?)

  Fantastic CD by this UK-based act active in the early 90s. This album is made with various influences, passing through ritual, ambient, experimental electronics, abstract, industrial, and noise. It is all a mash-up yet crafted with grace and beauty.

L20 - Aged - (Alampo Records-Italy-2009)

 4 great tracks of esoteric noise-ambient on this Cd-Ep by L20! It was released as limited edition of 97 copies as CD-r and it is not available on the Alampo Records Bandcamp page.

Alampo Records was created in 2001 to release on CDr music from Criopalmos and related projects. Previously the same musicians released on tapes as Lanzoni Records, Bolgia Folk, Noir Tapes and NecroNovi.

BOL-E-ZEN - Svetovni Dnevi Duševnega Ultrazvoka - (Debila Records-Slovenia-2020)

 

 "Svetovni Dnevi Duševnega Ultrazvoka" means "World Days Of Mental Ultrasound" while Bolezen means Disease in Slovenian language.This is the project by  Tomaž (nicknamed Hruki). In the 90's he's been active in a bunch of legendary grind/noise bands like Diarrhoea, Deca Debilane and No Profit. Also he's been a second vocalist for Extreme Smoke 57's 2013 NoiseFest gig in Ljubljana. 

In this amazing tape Tomaž crafts 4 brilliant tracks of quiet-noize transporting us in a world of dreamlike sounds and messages.

It was released in a limited edition of 30 copies by the Slovenians label Debila Records and it comes with a badge.

UR/IRON MOLAR – Ur / Iron Molar -(Locust Swarm Rex/The Fucking Clinica /Alampo Records-Italy-2009)

Ur were born in early 2005 as a collaboration between Federico Esposito and Mauro Sciaccaluga, both active in the italian hardcore circuit.
Federico was a member of Heartside and is also responsible of the industrial / power-electronics project Den LXV. Mauro was a member of Downright, Kafka and Never Was, and he is also collaborating with Den LXV.
Federico and Mauro were later joined by Andrea Ferraris (Burning Defeat, Permanent Scar, Onefineday, Deep End, One By One).
Ur made their live debut at the Afe-Party in November 2005. Their music is mostly based on free improvisation and its sonorities can't easily be described without referring to the well-known and wildest experiments of Industrial music of the late '70s / early '80s.

JEWELS OF SHAME - Negative Dialects - (Wormhole World-UK-2019)

 Ever since childhood, Jewels Of Shame has been fond of machinery noises. When he was a child his dad used to take him to the factory where he worked, and JOS would sneak in engine rooms and fall asleep to the pounding sound of the machines. As he was growing up he started falling asleep to the sounds of black metal, sludge, and industrial/noise giants such as Merzbow, Maurizio Bianchi, and Throbbing Gristle. So when he first acquired a PC, he thought he might as well try out make his own sleepy music. He started making field recordings on a cheap dictaphone and of the train station, bar air conditioners, and of the basement of the Physics and Engineering departments of the university in his hometown, which he mixed on the easiest-to-use sound programs with samples from video games and accidentally conceived loops. He gradually started adding recordings of barrel banging, breathing in the microphone, meowing neighborhood cats, and later instruments, such as the guitar, accordion, piano, flute, and other ones. Being a bit of a socially awkward guy, he never published any of these tracks, apart from playing them to his punk friends, and he eventually ceased his bedroom ambient/drone/noise career in 2009, as work and studying obligations prevailed. Nobody can tell for sure what got into him and he decided to send Wormhole World his private recordings ten years later. Hopefully, he will not dig out of his vault more jewels of shame

DEAD.CIRCUIT - Repressed Memory Theraphy - (Alampo Records-Italy-2008)

dead.circuit is a solo industrial/electro/experimental project of the Dutch audiovisual artist Fabian van der Meer. Had his first official track released on Bone Structure in 2008, on the compilation album 'Ascetic Sperm Diet: Girls, Guns & Pierre Molinier'.
From then on he came in contact with Alampo Records, who released his debut full-length album 'Repressed Memory Therapy'.
Further tracks appear on the Alampo compilation 'Moon Patrol', another Bone Structure compilation '2008 Maniacs', and a collaboration with Hypnoskull on his new album 'Industrial Owes Us Money', on ant-zen.
The music of dead.circuit encompasses a wide variety of different genre's and styles; from dark and obscure industrial to more soundtrack-like music, and from power electronics to electro. Instead of creating different side projects for the various styles, he goes for the element of surprise, so that the listeners will never be entirely sure what to expect with every new output.
Will it be a nice ambient escape, or a hard industrial psycho-realm?

v.a.-Insomnia Vol. 1-(We Never Sleep-USA-double k7-1987)

 We Never Sleep:Denver Colorado-based Industrial/Experimental/Electronic/Noise label and collective headed by Paul Dickerson in the band of the same name and Mark Ameba before going on to work with Survival Research Laboratories in S.F. Together doing over 50 live performance art/noise actions in galleries, clubs and public streets in Vancouver, Denver and San Francisco & the infamous Denver junkyard shows with Tom Headbanger ov T.O.P.Y. featuring such bands as Einsturzende Nuebauten and Crash Worship. They also broke ground releasing the "INSOMNIA" compilation series demonstrating thier own work along with early releases from international electronic artists like Greater Than One, Merzbow, The Haters and many others.
WNS 012 (1992) was a book by blackhumour, entitled "The Reports 1986-1989" 

This double c60 tape compilation was re-released by We Never Sleep and Staaplaat as double CD in 1993.Enjoy it.

BAND OF PAIN-Reculver-(Dirter Promotions-UK-1999)

 A very interesting cd by Band Of Pain aka Steve Pittis playing a good dose of quiet-noize mixing etheral industrial sounds with some dronish ambient experiments.It was released in 500 copies back in 1999 and it appears to be sold out now.

 Dirter Promotions is Steve Pittis personal label active since the 1980s and still alive and kicking, its amazing webpage offers to us its late producions, news, its long discography and more.

BRUME-Unrelated Landscape-(audiofile Tapes-USA-1990)

The project of the French composer Christian Renou, between musique concrete, sound collage and industrial noise. The project was on hiatus from 2000-2008, Renou releasing material under his own name. His official webpage is here.

The legendary New York industrial/experimental/electronic label audiofile Tapes was run by Carl Howard and active since the mid-1980s.

I  wrote about him quite a few time now.Here an interview  to him on Autoreverse Independent Music Magazine and another one on Media Hyperrel.org.

Kapotte Muziek-Weapons Of Musick-(Midas Tapes-Holland-c30-1986)

Kapotte Muziek was founded in 1984 by Frans de Waard, then living in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Soon he was joined by Christian Nijs, who also lived in Nijmegen. They did not actually play together, though: Christian would record all the sounds at home on cassettes and give them to Frans, who would manipulate the material in different ways (pitch-change, loops, etc.).
This way of working (using 'second-hand' material and recycling it endlessly) became the core of the activities of Kapotte Muziek.
In 1987 Christian left the project in favour of playing rock-music in a real band. Until 1993 Frans continued the project on his own through the Kapotte Muziek By ... series, inviting as many musicians as he knew to send in material to be recycled. This resulted in collaborations with groups like S.B.O.T.H.I., Merzbow, De Fabriek, Yeast Culture, Odal, Asmus Tietchens and many others. Gradually, the harsh territory of industrial music was left behind and other forms of electro-acoustic music were explored.

 Also part of the Blossoming Noise set (I have 2 left) was this august release, a particular early favourite. The a-side is recycling (as remixing was called back then) of the 'Electrocute' cassette and the b-side was a new piece of slowed down 'other' music. v.a.-CLAUSTROPHOBIA-(Interrupt Product-Holland-c90-1988)

Another great compilation by the amazing Dutch label Interrupt Product and dedicated to the subject Phobia, I have already posted the sampler Schizophobia and the one named Necrobophia both released in 1989.

In this 90 minutes cassette, we find a number of artists playing old school industrial,noise-ambient, experimental electronics and more rather difficult music to digest.

Interrupt Product was a small tape label from Holland active during the 80s, it has a sublabel called Non-Interrupt, a sub-label still active nowadays.

Astonishing double c60 tape compilation with an amazing selection of artists and tracks!

The music evolves in areas such as noise-ambient, power-electronics, industrial, drone and similar genres.

It came out with a variety of printed paper inserts housed in a plastic bag. 

SSSM was a Japanese label releasing tapes and CDRs of experimental, abstract and noise artists, operated by Hiroshi Hashimoto. 

It is still active and you can check its latest releases on its Bandcamp Page.
