Werkschau seems to be an improvised project made by different German artists:Rote Kiste,Kallisti,Das Cellar Loch,Urbeiter Unfall...
Here  a note listed on the cover sleeve:"The quality of this compilation should not be compared with conventional recordings,because amateur equipment was used and the material wasn`t meant for public access originally"

It was releaed on a c90 one side only.The label is the amazing Cat Killer run by Carsten Vollmer.

The cover sleeve has various informations about this project and releated matters.

If you are into experimental electronics,improvised weird musical voyages and similar styles you will like this tape.

ELFO ATOMICO-Pestilentia Urit Urbem-(Cat Killer-Germany-c60-1994)

Another tape by the E.A. ghost collective,project covered in this blog quite few time now.I also already wrote about this german label  as I posted quite few tapes released by this amazing label managed by Carsten Vollmer.

"Carsten From Cat Killer released this tape-work in 1994. There were only 2 long tracks running pure noise death industrial. Only two people worked on this project. The art work on the cover was made by RAFF, and then re-elaborated by Carsten who printed a limited edition of 93 copies. Each came with a slightly different cover; depending on how he was cutting the two colour copies to set up the cover sleeve. For this project E.A. means Atomic Elf."

INANNA-Project Inanna,Dead Inanna-(Cat Killer-Germany-c90-1993)

Inanna is the Solo project of Mikael Stavöstrand after the split in Archon Satani.Here some pages about him Facebook, SoundCloud, MySpace, residentadvisor.ne.

This long tape is crafted with esoteric  singing voices mixed with dark textures and electronic tense atmospheres ,you might want to call it dark ambient yet there is more  to explore in this tape, in fact old sounds of classical music twisted in weird shapes appear at the surface of a deranged white noise,feedback,solid dissoances and more cryptic passages that at the time collapse in fragments.

The label is the amazing Cat Killer run by Carsten Vollmer,

THE RORSCHACH GARDEN & MOATA OMEN-Pure NRG!-(Cat Killer-Germany-c90-1992)

The Rorschach Garden was founded in 1988, It  was the solo project of Philipp Münch, mainly known from his works as Synapscape. In 1997, he stopped this project due personal reasons. The Rorschach Garden was reactivated in 2001, made its first public appearance at the Maschinenfest 2002 in Aachen, Germany. After this, some other live perfomances were held with the help of some of Philipp's closer friends. Ever since, TRG has grown into a proper band with a steady lineup and a great reputation for live performances. Their musical style has developed into a unique blend of electronic pop music and defies genre limitations. Since 2008, no concerts have been played due to personal circumstances of the band members, yet there might possibly some again.-MySpace, Facebook-

Moata Omen is the personal project of  Sven Pügge also involved in the band  Ars Moriendi.

 This tape seems to be a full collaboration between the tape labels Fich-Art and Cat Killer,both german  and active since the 90s.

DSIP-Falling LightHouse-(Cat Killer-Germany-c60-1993)

Another nice cassette by this amazing  duo,I wrote already about them when I posted Subliminal Sculptures,The Grim Scenario and Time Zone Eyes.

Dsip is Dieter Mauson+Siegmar Fricke  researching on sleep & dreams states, ambient hypnotic sounds in great German electronic tradition. 

This project was founded in 1989 and active until summer 1994.

After almost 20 years of hiatus they re-formed in 2013,this is their actual blog and soundcloud page.

There are still available other 11 of their tapes ripped by me and donated to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog,get them here.

I also spoke already quite few times about Cat Killer,German label managed by Carsten Vollmer,who seems to be still active as noise musician.

DIE FABRIEK-DIE SCHUTZBEFOHLENEN-Criminal Collaboration-(Cat Killer-Germany-C60-1993)

Split tape on the German label Cat Killer managed by Carsten Vollmer,released in 1993 in a limited edition of 93 hand numbered copies.
De Fabriek (The Factory) hails from the Dutch City of Zwolle and original founded by Richard van Dellen and Andries D. Eker at the end of the seventies. Now the spil are Richard van Dellen, Louise Manuru van Dellen (his wife) and Simone van Dellen (his daughter). Not considering themselves a regular band (for one thing, they are a label too) they present The Factory as some sort of workmen-union, and the musicians they work with as labourers. Music is created through workman tools and machinery. Throughout years they were recording with the likes of Solenoid (2), O.R.D.U.C., Technological Aquiver, Brume, Vivenza, Klinik, and Gen Ken Montgomery.(from discogs)

DE PROFUNDIS-Mutation n6-(Cat Killer-Germany-c30-1992)

Mutation was a series of  tape-works dedicated to selected artists and released by the German label 

Cat Killer managed by CarstenVollmer.

This is the number 6 of this series and the music is by De Profundis: a project developed by the artists Frank Kaiser and Ralph Doege, both programming machines and offering us a soundscape of noise and ambient sometimes recalling dronish and dark atmospheres with more experiments of loops and voices.

Very nice if you are used to those sounds.

CARSTEN VOLLMER-Feedback Meditation-(EE tapes-Belgium-1996-c21)

Carsten Vollmer was  the mind behind Cat Killer tape label in the 90s and also he had few  music projects D.M.A.D.T. Bär & Co ... here his web-page.

EE tapes was a very prolific Belgian tape label, founded in 1987 by Eriek Van Havere, specializing in experimental, ambient and noise music.

It`s  still active today and here their official website.

I doubt that this tape is still available...

HOARST! - Komertz - (Cat Killer - Germany - c60 - 1992)

93 copies of this c60 released by the German label Cat killer in 1992. Hoarst ! seems to be Knoe  7,a tape music project
which existed from 1990 to 1995. Exploring the weird and senseless in electronic music.

A special private humour, loads of dilettantism and no fear for the big unpopular noise were its main attributes. Influences in random order: à;GRUMH..., Max Goldt, Delerium, Sesame Street, Skinny Puppy, Pippi Langstrumpf, Pankow, Adolf Tegtmeier, Ministry.
A lot of cheap equipment was harmed during the countless recording sessions in these years. Supported by some friends with their musical talent and equipment. You know who you are. (info taken from discogs)

D.M.A.D.T.-Rustikal Industrial(Cat killer -Germany-c90-199x)+D.M.A.D.T.-Sekrale Tiertotung(Cat Killer -Germany-c46-199x)

93 copies for those tapes by D.M.A.D.T. released by Cat Killer in Germany in the mid 90s.

Carsten Vollmer appears to be the artist behind this name and he was also the  master-mind behind  Cat Killer label.

The music is a kind of ancient rhythmic noise in Rustical Industrial while the 2  long tracks on the Sekrale Tiertotung seems to be made more of field recordings to reach a   full industrial noise attack.
