 Another great mini CD by the Slovenian Debila Records. Mini Scarves seems to be a side project of Mono Scarves and the title of this mini album is Oriented and Talkative. The music here is a blend of harsh noise with other stuff. The message of  the backcover says "Mini Scarves are the same as Mono Scarves, only smaller and with electric zithers and a tie" hence the drawing on the cover sleeve. Enjoy it.

 We are in the midst of one of the worst humanitarian crises of our current epoch. Two million people are trapped in the world's largest open air prison as bombs from Israeli settlers rain indiscriminately from the sky. The occupation has enacted a genocidal campaign of death and destruction against the people of Gaza. As of right now 9000 Palestinians, half of which of which are children have been slaughtered by the occupation force just within the last two weeks.

For decades the people of Palestine have relied on humanitarian aid in order to survive. With the extreme level of escalation this situation has taken within the last couple days we feel it is imperative to use resources at our disposal to raise money for medical aid to the people effected by this blatant genocide.

 Alexander Lebedev-Frontov Real Name:Александр Лебедев-Фронтов.

Russian noise musician and producer. Operator at ALF Produkt, Retrogad, Ultra, Ultrasomnambula U labels.
Born on the 26th of August 1960 in Leningrad. Died on the 8th of January 2022.

He made his first sound experiments in the late 1970s under the influence of information about "art of noises" in the book "Physics and music" by Gleb Anfilov. In 1987 he creates Linija Mass, in 1995 - Ultra label, in 1996 - Vetrophonia with N. Soudnick (ZGA). In 1997 Frontov re-creates Linija Mass as a "machine-music" studio project. An "art of noises" project Veprisuicida worked during 1990s. Nowadays Frontov works in Stalnoy Pakt with Kirill Rozhkov.  (all info from Discogs)    click me

BROTHER OF JUDO - Fuck You Mother Nature - (Debila Records-Slovenia-2018)

Brother Of Judo is a noise project from Slovenia active since 2011, the year of his first tape, since then this artist is been releasing many productions (tapes,cd-rs, split mini cd-rs..)! The mind after it is Nejc, who is also the mastermind of  Debila Records. This label is been active since 1995 when Nejc founded it with the help of  his friend Veljko, who left the label around 2000.

 

In these 27 years, Nejc released, so far, 198 productions, mainly Slovenian artists but also musicians from other countries. A detailed list of all his productions can be found on his blog: ...Brother Of Judo And The Others...  where you`ll see also the pictures and introductions to his vast catalogue, made of: 73x tape, 2x double tape, 105x CD-R or 3'' CD-R,- 3x double 3'' CD-R, 1x 4 3'' CD-R box-set,- 2x LP, 4x 7'', 1x DVD-R! As I can see Nejc prefers the tape as a format and he likes the mini CD-R too.

 After swapping a few emails with him I can say that his attitude is really old school, he runs his label for pure love and he prefers exchanging productions rather than selling them, just like the good old days. Eventually, a very big THANX to Nejc for giving me permission to post this tape and passing me all the info about Debila Recs included in this post! Enjoy it.

CONTROLLED BLEEDING-Shitslipper-(Inner-X-Musick-USA-1985)

Versatile and experimental noise / ambient band formed in Boston, 1978 (later re-locating to Massapequa, New York).

Though they began playing music in a style akin to instrumental art rock, a move into violent power electronics in the mid 1980s set Controlled Bleeding on a course that would take them through industrial, ambient, free jazz, noise, dub, progressive rock, sacred music, dark ambient, classical and musique concrète. To their detriment, the group was not concerned with generating or maintaining an audience, relying instead on spontaneous inspiration - often the cause of alienation amongst many of their listeners.

The band's only constant member is Paul Lemos, although early band members included Jack Salerno, Dave Southerland, Gary Pecorino and Tony Meola, a stable line-up was not attained until the early 1980s, with the addition of Joe Papa and Chris Moriarty.

Moriarty departed circa 1994, however he and Lemos continued to work together on side-projects such as Joined At The Head, Skin Chamber and Fat Hacker, whilst Lemos and Papa pursued further sonic experiments with Controlled Bleeding, as well as releasing music under their own names. After the deaths of both Chris Moriarty and Joe Papa in the late 00's, original member Tony Meola re-joined the band on drums. The current guitar-and-drums version of Controlled Bleeding plays instrumental rock songs influenced by Krautrock (notably Can) and progressive rock.
