Off With Her Head Promotions Flyer (UK-1991)

 

"The gig in question: Earth Citizens/ Pszychisz Terror/ Duckwind, The Queens Hotel, Scunthorpe, Saturday 25th May 1991

Two 'punk' bands from Switzerland, Pszychisz Terror, apparently, refused to open their luggage at customs and got turned back. "More Cider!" was Fritz, EC's guitarist's refrain between each song: Dry cider - the drink of the Gods he had just discovered and proceeded to drink to excess! Slotted in well with the locals.

 

Duckwind was a band formed from members from local psychedelic band Duck In Fog in order to play Hawkwind tracks; this included Col Spence on bass, who played in Terminus and was also a member of DIF before joining us - and Mick Hare on drums, obviously a Terminus drummer -  Rocky, also played guitar in DIF before playing in Terminus for a short while, and vocals would have been Graham Davis - DIF's vocalist.  "  (Mark Terminus)

Another issue of the compilation serie :Punk Is...,I have posted many compilations of this serie and I have also posted more stuff( zines,tapes,leaflets...)by Resistance Productions a small yet very active Swiss label. This was the final issue for this serie and it came out (as usual) with a small boolet reporting lyrics+addresses of the bands and thoughts about the subject, unfortunately it is not included here,I have lost in my messy collection of zines,flyers,posters,mail art...

v.a.-Punk Is...More Than The Government And Fashion Controlled Record Stores Offer-[Vol 7]-(Resistance Prods-Switzerland-c90-1993)

Another compilation of the series Punk is... a series already covered in this blog, as well as the label Resistance Productions managed by Lara, Pablo and FTS were active for 7 years releasing lots of stuff(7inches, tapes, zines, leaflets...).

As far as I know, Pablo started another label called Strongly Opposed when Resistance Prods ceased to exist.

It was compiled in June 1993 by Pablo! Songs ordered by Lara(of Örmaal Records) comes with 24 half sized page booklet with bands contributing a page each with lyrics, artwork etc., unfortunately not included here.

A good anarcho-punk compilation!Lots of good bands, political messages and good recordings.

Number 30 of this Swiss punk zine released by the label Resistance Productions.I already posted few issues of this fanzine and lots of other productions released by this small yet very lively and totally DIY and anarchist label based in Zurich first and then relocated to Biel. 
It was managed by Fritze F.T.S., Pablo Van Paz ,Sämy Soyahead, Oli, and Lara.They were active from 1988 to 1998. 

Short yet very interesting.

NO SANCTUARY Zine n20-Sept. 1993 + NO SANCTUARY Zine N21 Oct.1993-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1993)

No Sanctuary was another fanzine made by the 3 minds behind the label Resistance Productions active in Switzerland during the early 90s. I did post already quite few productions by this small yet very  nice and prolific label,so you just need to search this blog.

In the number 21 of their on-going fanzine you`ll find interviews to MDM,Jouni Of Sivullinen Artcore,articles about raw food and Kaval Diy Space in Greece+tons of fanzines and music reviews,while in the number 20 you can read a very good interview to Teminus 

+articles about shock therapy,animal experiments and thoughts about their own label + more reviews and info.As far as I know Pablo started another label called Strongly Opposed when Resistance Prods ceased to exist.

Very interesting short but great fanzines.

SCUM-Live 31/03/1990-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-c60-1990)

Scum was an anarcopunk band from Bottorop in Germany,a discogs page about them is here.

This tape was captured live on the 31/03/1990 and then released on the Swiss Resistance Productions a label covered in this blog many times.

As for their music expect raw angry HC punk with political lyrics.The folded cover sleeve reports lyrics and addresses.

URINPROBE/HAMLET`S EIER-One World For All-[split tape](Resistance Productions-Switzerland-c60-1989)

Another tape released by the mighty Resistance Productions,a Swiss label covered in this blog many times now.

2 anarco-punk bands playing a very raw and messy form of HC punk.

It was recorded in their practise rooms giving us an insight of their lo-fi instruments yet this sounds very punk.

It came out with a folded cover sleeve with info and lyrics.

Alternative n4 -(Fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1990)

Another great fanzine by this amazing label:Resistance Productions was a Swiss small totally DIY and anarchist label based in Zurich first and then relocated to Biel. It was managed by Fritze F.T.S., Pablo Van Paz ,Sämy Soyahead, Oli and Lara.They were active from 1988 to 1998.
In their  life they self-released lots of fanzines (for example "No Sanctuary", "Massive Love" and more). leaflets and tapes, mostly compilations + booklets and of course some vinyls as well.I already posted some tapes and fanzines by this cool label.

In this fanzine you`ll find alternative press addresses,Conflict the gathering of 5000,Dusserdorf scene report,Swiss punk scene report,Berlin scene report,Terminus, history,Mega City Four,reviews of tapes and zines + graphix and flyers.

A great tool to research the alternative punk scene of the early 90s.

Printed in off set in its 80 pages you`ll find lots of good informations.

Initiative n3-[Braindeath to...]-(Fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1996)

This is another fanzine by Resistance Productions,a label that I have covered in this blog already different times posting both  some of their tapes and zines.

ORANGE WORLD/PLEASANT VALLEY CHILDREN-Squat Muzak Part 1-Live-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1990)

Orange World is the band  before Earth Citizens,I posted one tape by them,you`ll find it here.
Pleasant Valley Children is one of the band by  Sned of Flat Earth Records,about this cool label you`ll find lots of info and free downloads in their blog,go here.
This tape was recorded live in a squat in Zurich(Switzerland) on 09/07/1990.You will find lots of info + the lyrics in the folded cover sleeve.
