v.a.-Punk Is...More Than The Government And Fashion Controlled Record Stores Offer-[Vol 7]-(Resistance Prods-Switzerland-c90-1993)

Another compilation of the series Punk is... a series already covered in this blog, as well as the label Resistance Productions managed by Lara, Pablo and FTS were active for 7 years releasing lots of stuff(7inches, tapes, zines, leaflets...).

As far as I know, Pablo started another label called Strongly Opposed when Resistance Prods ceased to exist.

It was compiled in June 1993 by Pablo! Songs ordered by Lara(of Örmaal Records) comes with 24 half sized page booklet with bands contributing a page each with lyrics, artwork etc., unfortunately not included here.

A good anarcho-punk compilation!Lots of good bands, political messages and good recordings.

Number 30 of this Swiss punk zine released by the label Resistance Productions.I already posted few issues of this fanzine and lots of other productions released by this small yet very lively and totally DIY and anarchist label based in Zurich first and then relocated to Biel. 
It was managed by Fritze F.T.S., Pablo Van Paz ,Sämy Soyahead, Oli, and Lara.They were active from 1988 to 1998. 

Short yet very interesting.

NO SANCTUARY Zine n20-Sept. 1993 + NO SANCTUARY Zine N21 Oct.1993-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1993)

No Sanctuary was another fanzine made by the 3 minds behind the label Resistance Productions active in Switzerland during the early 90s. I did post already quite few productions by this small yet very  nice and prolific label,so you just need to search this blog.

In the number 21 of their on-going fanzine you`ll find interviews to MDM,Jouni Of Sivullinen Artcore,articles about raw food and Kaval Diy Space in Greece+tons of fanzines and music reviews,while in the number 20 you can read a very good interview to Teminus 

+articles about shock therapy,animal experiments and thoughts about their own label + more reviews and info.As far as I know Pablo started another label called Strongly Opposed when Resistance Prods ceased to exist.

Very interesting short but great fanzines.

SCUM-Live 31/03/1990-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-c60-1990)

Scum was an anarcopunk band from Bottorop in Germany,a discogs page about them is here.

This tape was captured live on the 31/03/1990 and then released on the Swiss Resistance Productions a label covered in this blog many times.

As for their music expect raw angry HC punk with political lyrics.The folded cover sleeve reports lyrics and addresses.

Another tape released by the mighty Resistance Productions,a Swiss label covered in this blog many times now.

2 anarco-punk bands playing a very raw and messy form of HC punk.

It was recorded in their practise rooms giving us an insight of their lo-fi instruments yet this sounds very punk.

It came out with a folded cover sleeve with info and lyrics.

Alternative n4 -(Fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1990)

Another great fanzine by this amazing label:Resistance Productions was a Swiss small totally DIY and anarchist label based in Zurich first and then relocated to Biel. It was managed by Fritze F.T.S., Pablo Van Paz ,Sämy Soyahead, Oli and Lara.They were active from 1988 to 1998.
In their  life they self-released lots of fanzines (for example "No Sanctuary", "Massive Love" and more). leaflets and tapes, mostly compilations + booklets and of course some vinyls as well.I already posted some tapes and fanzines by this cool label.

In this fanzine you`ll find alternative press addresses,Conflict the gathering of 5000,Dusserdorf scene report,Swiss punk scene report,Berlin scene report,Terminus, history,Mega City Four,reviews of tapes and zines + graphix and flyers.

A great tool to research the alternative punk scene of the early 90s.

Printed in off set in its 80 pages you`ll find lots of good informations.

Initiative n3-[Braindeath to...]-(Fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1996)

This is another fanzine by Resistance Productions,a label that I have covered in this blog already different times posting both  some of their tapes and zines.

ORANGE WORLD/PLEASANT VALLEY CHILDREN-Squat Muzak Part 1-Live-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1990)

Orange World is the band  before Earth Citizens,I posted one tape by them,you`ll find it here.

This tape was recorded live in a squat in Zurich(Switzerland) on 09/07/1990.You will find lots of info + the lyrics in the folded cover sleeve.

Mother 3 1/2 Zine-(Fanzine-Strongly Opposed-Switzerland-199?)

Another fanzine  by Pablo of  Resistance Productions a label covered in this blog lots of times now.
Strongly Opposed Records was a Swiss punk label that released vinyl only from 1998 until 2005. At the very beginning there was also a second person involved, but that was only for the 4 first releases-hence the UK address on those releases.
Before Strongly Opposed there was Sick Records (3) (1984-87) and then Resistance Productions (1988-1997) and after that there was/is(?) Strawberry Punx Records (actually on hiatus after 4 co-releases).
Apparently the label celebrates a "reunion" with new releases in 2013 and 2014.But #020 is the final final release.Trades are welcome,but only vinyl!
About this fanzine,I am going to attach here the introduction that Pablo wrote at the time,this is a very good research tool of the underground punk movement of the late 90s.

Braindeath n1(Fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland-June 1995)

Another release by the mighty Resistance Productions,Swiss label covered in this blog many times.

In this first issue we find a long introduction by Pablo about this fanzine and other interesting thoughts,a report about diy culture,Katsuhisa Omori(Japanese anarchist in jail),squatting in Holland,an interview to Total Control and then tons of reviews of fanzines,tapes and vynils.

A very good fanzine just as all the other releases by this amazing label.

PRIMITIVE TRIBES-New World Death Frenzy + More Fun In Corporate America..(Self Released-Usa-1992-c90-2 demos)

This tape contains the first and second demo by this American anarco-punk band from Flagstaff (Az).

It was a Swiss release with kind permission of the band including the tapes "New World Death Frenzy" and
"More Fun In Corporate America",it came out with an A4 size sheet with all the lyrics.The label distributing it was the legendary Resistance Productions,label covered in this blog quite few times.

ARGUE DAMNATION-Export Edition-(Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1995-c20)

Violent and political crust punk from Japan:Argue Damnation were active from 1994 to 2003 and made different releases.

On this tape there are the first and second demo + some extra songs  and it was distributed in Europe by this Swiss label hence the name

 Export Edition.

EARTH CITIZENS-To A Nation Of Party Lovers(c60-Resistance Prods-Switzerland-1991)

This is the cassette by Earth Citizens called "To A nation Of Party Lovers",it came out with a booklet included here and it was released on Resistance Prods in 1991.
In 2001 it was re-printed as  vinyl by Strongly Opposed Records.Here  few info I have found on their discos page.

It came out with a booklet including lyrics and addresses of the bands.

v.a.- SUBWAY TO DEATH -(Sick Records-UK-c60-198?)

About this tape  I am going to c+p some info taken from discogs webpage :
"Sick Records was founded by members of the Decay,basically to release the band's own stuff.
The label then released tapes/records by other bands until one of them became to lazy
and was kicked out(me!)-definitely justified.The 2 other guys then decided to start
Far Out Records (2) while I started Resistance Productions..."

However this compilation is not on that page and it seems to have been released on the end of the 80s and then distributed from Resistance Productions in fact I am sure I  received it from Pablo of R.P.
For the tracklist and  some info  I am  attaching the scans of the cover-sleeve pages.
Everything is a bit messy on the cover-sleeve and some of the recordings are not the best, as for the music  expect raw punk and anarchist lyrics.
I guess this is very hard to find now.

THE DECAY - Anarchy - (Resistance Productions - Switzerland -1984)

Another tape released by Resistance Productions ...The Decay  is an old punk band from Switzerland and I gonna attach here some info taken from the cover sleeve of this tape.I guess this is very rare now.

"The Decay was formed in summer of 1983.Founding members were Insane Johnny,David Watergun,Black Devil(later on changed to Rotten Love)and Tony,how else could it be,during a break at work!It wasn't until early 1984 we managed to get all the equipment to have a first practise.That took place in a cellar of a small chapel at the Institut Montana where our drummer went to school.Being total zeros at our respective instruments we were blown away by our first recording.We booked studio time in the Vibrasound Studio,in Sheffield,England.On our way there we lost our drummer and the bassist,yet still made it to record 13 songs with the help of the engineer and a friend of him.A second demo followed shortly afterwards,this time we stayed home and recorded in Switzerland.Different line-up again and even more chaotic 12 songs were recorded.More line up changes followed and in January'85 we recorded our one and only 7''.Of course we lost our bassist on the way to the studio,so the songs we rehearsed turned out more chaotic with me playing bass for the first time in the studio.Another studio time was booked yet with another line up,but that last demo turned out pretty good so we decided to continue as The Brains Of Humans.The Decay played two chaotic gigs only one in a youth centre with no punx in the crowd,and one in a squat in Bern.
The Decay's demo for the EP has been re-released in Canada a few years ago on Capitalicide,and the EP itself was released with its original mix in 2012 for the first time.¨
Since the band never really split up a follow up is possible to happen,as long as it features one of the original(1983-1985)band members.

They also have 1 7inch out of  Resistance Productions ,a split 7inch with Public Nuisance on Squat or Rot and a full album "Shut up and Drink"  on Profane Existance!!!

A  power hc punk band that made history.
