DISAHOGO n4-(Fanzine-Argentina-199?)

This fanzine seems to be another production by Max Vadala. I spoke about him when I posted the split tapes Terror Y Miseria/Ruido E Ideas and Sovredocis/Sopa De Garron and the fantastic zine DF Dismadre.  
 In this blog, you`ll find info about Max graphic works and fanzines + @punk bands from Buenos Aires.

This issue is inspired by the dadaist movement and work, you`ll find some cool graphics, some comics, an article about the Chaos Day In Hannover and another one about how to grow up marijuana at home.

Short and funny, this is a nice little zine.

Only in the Spanish language.

v.a.-Thorn Of Resistance-(Countercharge Productions-c90-UK-199?)

A long compilation tape with international anarcho-punk bands, it was a  benefit for animal rights prisoners.

Different styles of punk music (ska, HC, Crust...), the quality of the recordings changes from band to band but it is, overall, quite good.

It includes many old bands and although no date is listed I reckon this was released on the end of the 90s.

Historia De La Organizacion De Medicos Indigenas De Chiapas-(Pamphlet-Mexico-199?)

A small pamphlet assembled and released by this DIY organization of Indigenous doctors in Chiapas (Mexico). 

A bit of history of the native indigenous medicine, how this group of doctors started to organize their activities and eventually a statement about their proposals as a civil association.

Very interesting yet old.

Optional Flesh-(Fanzine-Matching Head-UK-199?)

Another weird graphic experiment by the genius Lee Stokoe covered in this blog for few of his fanzines and many of his tapes as noise artist Culver mostly released on his own label  Matching Head.

A label that seems to be still alive and kicking.

Lee called this zine "a Matching Head audio/visual scribbles production".

CULVER-Sky Hooks-(Matching Head-UK-c90-199?)

Another tape by  Lee Stokoe aka Culver, I already posted the split tape with Onco, the one with Cefodie the one with E.H.I. and also the split with Enigma Analogico.

I have also posted other productions by his personal label Matching Head which is still active with the most of the back catalogue still available cheap.

Also in this tape experiments with noise touching the ambient,the drone and personal electric weird goings.

Great cover-sleeve too.

v.a.-Bravo Uomo Vol1-(RivoluzionariaAzionePunx Autoproduzioni-Italy-199?)

Good compilation tape with HC Punk bands active in the 90s.

The different recordings are pretty good  and the selection of bands too.It came out with a booklet, unfortunately not included here.

It was a benefit for Comitato Liberazione Animale of Bergamo, a pro-animal rights group active in that northern Italian city. 

It was the third production by this small + totally DIY label active on the end of the 90s.

The Graceland Titbucket Club-(Fanzine-Self Released-UK-199?)

This is another small yet nice fanzine created by by Lee Stokoe noise artist already covered in this blog for his work as Culver and his personal small label Matching Head.

In this one Lee have fun drawing on the top of naked women and adding some Graceland`s Elvis eyes.

v.a.-SPIKED AND UNITED-(Mitsey Distro-UK-199?)

Long compilation on tape by Mitsey Distro, I have already posted two other samplers by this very active distro.It was managed by Evan Griffith, in Sheffield(North England)who was also printing the amazing fanzine Gibbering Madness, which I posted few issues and also He released the cool video compilation Video Ate My Brain.

Unfortunately, I have lost the booklet coming with this tape, 

therefore I have no info about the bands involved.The music is HC Punk, Powerviolence and similar genre.

v.a.-Froggies But Chic-(Not On Label-France-199?)

Very good sampler with a bunch of French bands active in the early 90s.The music is all about high energy rock, early stoner rock, garage rock and more amazing tracks riding  this music`s wave.

RECUSANT/PORC BLEU-Last Squeal-(Self Released-France-199?)

Amazing split tape with two french bands  active in the 90s.Both bands play a strange and difficult music to describe.

Deviated,psychotic,broken rhythms, different vocals,weird lyrics,crazy passages,hilarious changes of  song`s structures and more  deranged alternated jingles make those bands standing aside lots of other punk bands,the spirit is there but the music goes beyond the usual punk clichés reaching very personal and somehow abnormal dimensions of song writing.

For many things both bands reminds me the music of Headache,infact,they are all friends,and Recusant released a split tape and a split 7inch with the french band based in Leeds:Headache, in 1994.

This tape comes in a very special cardboard
package including an info sheet.(all the relevant scans included in this folder).
The release date is not stated anywhere,I guess this came out in the mid 90s.

I love this tape.It is a small masterpiece of deranged fantasy and extreme "off the this planet" creativity.

v.a-Recompilatorio Benefico Liberacion Animal "Angry Voices"-(Not On Label(?)-Spain(?)-199?)

This tape is a great international compilation featuring various bands playing Sludge, HC Punk and somehow heavy riffs with screamed angry vocals. It was a  benefit for an animal rights organisation as the name in Spanish states.

I am sure it came out with a booklet explaining the benefit and giving us info about those good bands, unfortunately   I`ve lost the booklet, therefore, I have very little clues about this production and those bands, any soul out there with more info about this great cassette???

I `d love to know more.

Amazing c90 international compilation with bands playing crustpunk,powerviolence,anarcopunk and similar genres.

It came out with a booklet reporting info about the bands and the 2 labels that co-produced this sampler.Unfortunately I cannot find the booklet and therefore I have little info about the bands and the label Gas World. 

I spoke about the austrian label LOM when I posted the tapes:Momido 7 and the compilation Anteurope.

Helou Kaet & Son n9-(Fanzine-Joukkomurha Products-Finland-199?)

Number 9 of this great finnish fanzine,I have posted already the number 10.It was assembled and distributed by Jupe Luoma in the early 90s.
Jupe was also into mail art and running the label Joukkormurha Tapes and  the sublabel JM Tapes.

I posted quite few tapes by this finnish label,you`ll find them here. 

This fanzine has few articles,short stories,some poetries,lots of nice graphix works and comics and more random stuff.

Few poetries are in english,the most of the articles/comics and other writings are in finnish.

Number 1 of this  compilation serie,I already posted the number two. It doesn`t seems easy to find info about this small distro based in Thessaloniki during the early 90s.

The recordings are kind of ok,although some pretty rough!

Fourth release by this small Swizz tape label called Gurteliertapes managed by Pille Weibel in Luzern,who was also a noise musician.

I already posted a couple of other tapes by this label. 

In this c90 sampler we find different bands offering us various music styles:some doom rock,some HC Punk,a bit of noise and a pinch of experimental electronics.Very good recordings all the tape around...

A nice and extravagant compilation.

Fantastic c60 sampler with a great selection of bands and tracks,good recordings and interesting lyrics too.The subject of this compilation was Anti-Sexism and it came out with a nice booklet that unfortunately I cannot find in my messy collection of flyers,zines,mail art...

Enjoy the music for now and hopefully one day in future I will post the booklet too.I have little info about this spanish label active in the 90s.
