I spoke many times about this Ghost Collective E.A.-a project already covered in this blog few times,here and here and here+here and I am probably missing other few links.

This song was one of the first experiments,used by Alessandro Ceccotto 

in a long video with other music tracks-I am posting here only the contribution by E.A.!

Alessandro was also managing  a big Mail Art Archive in Adria(Northern Italy)-I wrote about him when I posted the fanzine The Mouth. and quite few other times now.

Vessazione Vocale means Vocal Oppression.For this project E.A. stands for Non-Musical Ejaculation.

Each issue was coming in a different colour and an insert with track list and band addresses.Lots of bands  playing  punk,rock and new wave.

TEM OPH AB-In Saturnia MCMXCVI-(Self Released/Rarefazioni Uterine(?)-Italy-c20-199?)

 2 Esoteric electronickx tracks(mono recordings) with few vocals samples repeating messages about the antichrist in this short tape by Tem Oph Ab:personal project of Marco Farina,also involved in  Il Mestruo Delle Puttane.

I already wrote about him when I posted the tape Le Chele Di Hypnos.

He seems to be still active with his other project I.M.D.P.

An A4 folded cover sleeve offer us nice b/w graphix works but no info therefore I do not know the year or the label,I assume it was released on his own label Rarefazioni Uterine and it came out in the 90s.

Body Without Organs appear to have been: Carl Howard [Nomuzic/ Audiofile Tapes], Amaury Perez [Amor Fati/ Will To Live], and Richard Behrens.. Thee sonorism they created for this cassette seems to pay homage to Isis: thee protectress ov thee dead whose mournfull tears for her husband/brother Osiris [thee god ov thee dead who was murdered by his brother Set] were said to flood thee Nile annually, and unto thee ibis or baboon headed Thoth: thee heart [intelligence] and tongue [voice] ov thee sun god Ra.. Their sonorism was a very unique creation steeped in many esoteric references which shall be attempted at being dealt with here..

She-Women of the SS - begins and continues through it's entirety with beauteous analog sequencing ala early Tangerine Dream which is met with recordings of accounts ov thee brutalising actions ov female SS officers towards prisoners of war during thee second world war..

Vanishing Pentagram - tis composed from elements ov minimal elektronik beats, swirling and undulating analog synthesis, and esoteric vocal chanting which carry for over eight minutes with few references decipherable aside from mentioning ov thee left hand/ right hand, and ov flames, the pentgram, and the six-rayed star .. ending with a repetitive delayed shifting "amen"..

I am in hell - begins with fast pulsating synthesis which pitches down in speed, and drops out momentarily to reappear with thee restrained elektronik thump ov a beat and sparse dissonant elektronik guitar.. all ov this tis amidst vocalisations calling out: "daddy.. who's calling me? it is my child.. i will come back, but i am not alive.. I am dead .. I am in hell, but i did not understand why.. when i found out it was too late.. my dearly friend one day you will see me again.. listen to me because it may be too late.. you will die like me.. i implore you to go back away from here.. please go back.." there follow strange samples ov a child's voice and barely decipherable speech sounding like radio transmissions from dead soldiers.. the piece continues for a total duration over ten minutes with thee looping phrases "we are not sure what is happening" and "I am in hell" to be met with sounds ov explosions and a fading away..

Dada Kabalah - begins with a discussion about magickal thinking [versus diagnosis ov paranoid schizophrenia], and Artaud and Rimbaud's theory of the seer.. through reading ov incantations capabale ov producing magickal results capable ov changing life through obtaining supernatural vision ov altered prophesy.. it continues to speak ov thee effects of premature aging upon Artaud with his death at thee age ov 52.. following this un-cited discussion the twanging ov strings play over the unspooling/ reversing/ speed-shifting sounds ov tape manipulation amid reverb soaked vocals: "Dada Kabalah / chanting Hebrew numbers in darkened closets / touching copies of time magazine and weeping over Marilyn Monroe / seeping sex / Dada Kabalah / through subway cars / an unholy group of figures / laughing at naked baboons sucking on bananas / Dada Kabalah / being burned at the stake / walking planks / a labrynth of the americas / labrynth trains railing across night / flocks of angels and sacrificial ash / Dada Kabalah / scribbling deranged graffiti on glass houses / trapped in homemade statues and wicker waste baskets / Dada Kabalah / [undecipherable] and frozen objects [undecipherable] chinese torment / horrible dreams / questions and answers / Dada Kabalah / [undecipherable] ancient manuscripts and trying to draw down this powerless pre-packaged spiritus omni interuptus in hellenistic solitude / dada kabalah / will the dream never end? / left to crawl through tenaments, bathrooms, and crumbling royal cabinets / Dada Kabalah / hermetic monks leading [undecipherable] to take the [undecipherable] / registers on time belt as yet [undecipherable] breach of law / Dada Kabalah / down through the celestial spirits who truely believe this in awe.. " more unspooling/ reversing/ speed-shifting sounds ov tape manipulated vocalisations end this piece..

Alchemy I - sonicly tis composed ov trancing repetitious low-end synth droning over which is spoken: "we are now in a position to understand what alchemy is. we might even go further to say even if we had not heard of it we must know what it must be. let me summarise by saying that alchemy includes as many possible operations as there are conventional [undecipherable] inherent in nature. think ov substance as symoblic of the whole course of nature. make it god and consume it. the highest form of the eucharyst is that in which the element consecrated is one. it is one substance and not two, not living and not dead, neither liquid nor solid, neither hot nor cold, neither male nor female. the highest sacrament is that of one element. it is universal in it's operation according to the declared purpose of the work. so will the result be. it is the universal key of all magick. think ov substance as symoblic of the whole course of nature. make it god and consume it. it is one substance and not two, not living and not dead, neither liquid nor solid, neither hot nor cold, neither male nor female..

Alchemy II - follows in a similar instrumental form ov sonorously droning synth over which there is a minimal percussive sequencing and strange tremelo like undulations ov elektronikx with a very decayed and restrained feel about it ending with an ouroboros ov tailing delay..

Osiris Rises begins with a sample voicing thee words: "let the divine light descend!!" what follows is amasing esoteric body music with elektro sequencing ala Peter Baumann.. spoken through vocoder: "in the beach in distant lands held aloft your godly hands in the beach in distant seas Osiris rises upon thee. carrying the greater one held up high for all to see. Osiris rises upon thee.. he sent your corpse upon the seas. wrestling deep in foreign lands. on the beach in the sand he severed off your godly hands. on the beach in distant lands cutting off your godly hands.. on the beach in distant seas Osiris rises upon thee.." much ov thee remaining vocals are difficult to decipher due to thee use ov vocoding.. towards thee end the sequencing shifts; going through various speed manipulations becoming cacophonous, and ending in the clattering ov bells..

the final piece of thee cassette tis: The Market, and it is composed ov danceable droning synth syncopated with sparse percussive accents, and tis layered through with undecipherable glitching vocal utterances and minimal synth lines.. towards the end much ov the sound begins to slow and decay with strange analog synth twittering and shifting until fading away..

Anarcopunk fanzine made by Dave in Bristol,this issue is especially focused on the fight against the poll tax in England.

Interesting interviews to The Ex,Conflict,Herb Garden,Maggot Slayer Overdrive+the history of the Kronstadt Club in Bristol and tons of reviews of zines,tapes and vinyls.

Quite few nice graphix works too.
A good old school zine full of surprises.

GLOMMING GEEK-Dog`s Head-(V.I.T.R.I.O.L.-Italy-1990)+Dig A Hole In The Sky-(Wide Records-Italy-1994)

Glomming Geek was an Italian Post-Punk Noise Rock band from Pistoia / Firenze active in 1987-1994. The band opened the gigs for Gun Club, Leaving Trains, Fugazi, Screaming Trees, Unsane.This cd includes two of their vynils Dog`s Head:mini album released by V.I.T.R.I.O.L.in the 1990 and their full lenght album Dig A Hole In The Sky released in 1994 by Wide Records.
A very big thanx to PuppyBarf for digitalizing those vynils.
For all the lovers of obscure post-rock noisy bands,this is a very little jewel -nice music to kill your ears and brains.

SOLANACEAE TAU-Outdoor Expressions-(Irre Tapes-Germany-c46-1990)

Solanaceae Tau was founded in the early 80ties and  made a lot of  releases in the tape industrial and gothic scene in Germany, Holland, France, Italy, UK and after the departure of their female vocalist they etablished (after a break) in a  new personal structure with the same project`s name in 1998. The musical base is inspirated to the dark wave music from the eighties:psychedelic and EBM  with some of the neo folk / gothic music of today mixed with collages and tapeworks.

The project members are Jason Fretz (guitar) Nicci Harrington (vocals ) and Axaxaxs ( synkussion, keyboards, tapes ).They compose and produce their music in their own small studio with reel tape machines, computers  and virtual and real instruments.(info taken from Soundclick).

I already posted A Chemical In Debris and Transgerman Mind Configuration,both amazing tapes by this great anti-fascist electro project. I also already wrote about Irre Tapes German label run by Matthias Lang which evolved out of the IRRE Fanzine he published regularly during the early 1980's covering New Wave, Post Punk and the German Underground. In true DIY spirit he supported the international network of small labels and fanzines through editing the free IRRE Newsletter to spread infos and contacts and writing occasionally reviews for various publications.All of the releases where copied on demand and continously numbered but only a few had an explicit Limited Edition(info from discogs).

VOORHEES-Everybody Is Good At Something...Except Us-(Self Released-UK-1991)

This cassette came out as totally diy tape.Recorded at Durham Street Studios, Hartlepool on the 9th and 10th of December 1991,limited edition of 50 copies-it was then re-released as flexi 7inch in 1994 by Armed With Anger: British hardcore label run by Richard Corbridge existing from 1992-2002. 

 Voorhees were a hardcore punk band formed in Durham City, U.K. In 1990, then in 1992 Ian Leck moved to Bradford and from the mid 90's every time a member left the band they were replaced by someone local to Bradford, essentially moving the band one member a time until they became a Bradford band. They finally broke up in 2001. There have been several reunions from 2004 onwards but no songs written since the 2001 breakup.(info from discogs).

KARTA Mail ART zine - Issue 5 -(Poland-Global Networking-Mail Art-1994)

Issue number 5 of this mail art fanzine published by Bartek Nowak,who was also managing a mail art archive in the 90s.I posted  one here,and another one too.

3rd release by this Swiss label:Gurteliertapes was managed by Pille Weibel in Luzern,he was also a noise musician.In this long compilation we`ll find different bands offering us a wide range of music styles:a bit of HC punk,some powerviolence,some weird folk,some rock and a pinch of noise too.

BRAIN VACATION-Brain Vacation-(Self Released-Italy-1990)

10 songs of furious HC punk on this single sided cassette by this italian combo active in in the early 90s.

The cover sleeve reports info and lyrics.The recording is pretty ok.

Their music reminds me some stuff of the american skate punk scene of the 80s.

A nice tape for the HC punk lovers around the world.

G.P.U.-Structures-(Groupuscule Vision-France-c60-1993)

Another tape released by the cool french label Groupuscule Vision,I wrote about them few times already.An independent tape label formed by the art collective Cartel Experimental,as far as I know they were also releasing an international newsletter called Concept.

I have already posted 2 tapes by this great noize/industrial project called G.P.U.-Propulsion and Genese.

All their releases were limited edition of 50 copies with colour cover and chrome tapes.I think those tapes are hard to find nowadays.

Thats Life!-Issue 1-Autumn 1993-(Fanzine-Thats Life-UK-1993)

Amazing number 1 of this english fanzine focused on the raggae/ska/Oi punk scene!In this issue(professionally printed)you`ll find:The Featherheads,The Revs,tHe Skeletones,Oi Polloi,The Trojans,Back To The Planet,lots of reviews of tapes,cd,fanzines and vynils.Contacts addresses and flyers.

Very well done and with a nice graphic layout this fanzine is a great tool to research the lively international punk scene of the early 90s.

FREAK SHOW/HOMO ERECTUS-Split Tape-(Sour Grapes-France + Cavalera-Spain-c60-1994)

Split tape with 2  HC punk bands,Homo Erectus from Switzerland and Freak Show from Spain,they seems to be both interested into animal rights activism +other political issues.

Freak Show offers us both studio and live recordings instead Homo Erectus only a live recording.It came out with a booklet with addresses,info and lyrics.It is included in this folder.

It was a join- production by the spanish Cavalera label and the french Sour Grapes label.

Blood Crooner[Little Photo book by Shaun]+Small But Non The Less Pointless[Drawings By Lee Stokoe]-(Matching Head-UK-199?)

Here two micro zines released by Matching Head small yet very prolific label managed by  Lee Stokoe.It seems to be still active nowadays. 

Blood Crooner is  full of amazing collages/photos cuts+paste with little messages by this unknown artist Shaun.

Small But Non Less Pointless is a collection of "stamp size" drawings by Lee Stokoe,all coming in a blood-red painted  plastic bag.

I am including here also the catalogue that at the time Lee sent me.

Those are incredible samples of the very lively 90`s underground press.

I spoke about this cool label quite few times now posting both zines and tapes.
