DISINFESTHA-Colpevole Di Cosa-(Self Released-Italy-c46-1992)

Disinfestha was a band from Fossombrone (Pesaro-Central Italy),they were active in the early 90s playing  HC Punk with some metal riffs and a baritonal voice singing political lyrics against the clergy,the wars,the genoicides and technology.

This is a totally diy demo and the recording is not too bad,the cover sleeve reports the lyrics and some info too.

v.a.-DISPIERTA Y ACTUA-(Cisma Recs-Mexico-fanzine+tape-1993)

This is the very first  compilation by this Mexican label,Dispierta Y Actua means Wake up and Act!!The title reflects the anarchist attitude of this diy  punk label and the bands covered are all into political messages and HC Punk.

It came out with a long fanzine with info about the bands,graphix works,addresses and some political articles.

I am going to attach here the introduction for this nice compilation.

For people into HC punk with an attitude.

v.a.-CLOPORTES-(Not On Label--Belgium-c60-1992)

Cloportes is a compilation of tracks featuring mainly Cedrik Fermont.
Črno klank was born in the middle of 1989. The project started as a duo playing noise, industrial and experimental ; the two members were Vinofv -052 and C-drík [Kirdec, Axiome, Ambre, etc.]. In 1992 the band splitted [because of musical and above all political point of views] and C-drík decided to go on alone. But the project soon stayed more or less in standby until he decided to restart it as a collective in which several people from Belgium and France could play [XD, a throat singer, Greg Durez and Benjamin, who are musicians - above all drummers - in several traditional bands such as Les esprits frappeurs and JeannElisabeth Shrapnel and Aliena Vena as a singer. But once again the project didn't last. C-drík is now mostly working alone for this project composing tracks including influences from traditional music, electro-acoustic, ambient, industrial, noise or power electronics.
But the project is still open to any kind of collaboration and C-drík worked together with Gisèle Pape on a short movie presented at the experimental short film festival Fenêtre sur court in Paris and won a prize for the best soundtrack.

M.E. 3 Started in 1990, M.E.3 was the first solo project by C-drík Fermont.

Globulex is a Casio-synthesizer based project that existed from 1992 to 1993, featuring Agnès Gilson & C-drík Fermont.

THIRD WORLD PLANET-World Waste-(Pulp Mill+Break Even-Canada-c30-1995)

Great and short yet very intense  cassette by this Canadian outfit playing very extreme Hc punk mixed with powerviolence,screams and fast drums.Third World Planet was a powerviolence duet from British Columbia, Canada. TWP was the music vehicle of Eric Boros (guit noise) and Jason Flower (percussion) plus some guests,they started in 1995 and ended up around 1999, they released several ep's,splits,flexi's, tapes and their final release was the "Old white men-discography" lp. This is another band in which Eric Boros, the genius guitarist of  Vialka. played during the 90s.

Eric Boros has been immersed in the global underground for the better part of the last twenty years. He is a self-taught guitarist, experimental multi-instrumentalist, improviser and composer, cassette archivist and performance artist, curator and networker, photographer, and translator. With a focus on trans-cultural and interdisciplinary collaboration, he has established connections with artists from around the world and off the beaten path, crossing the borders between art, music and noise.

PANICO-Panico-(Self Released+Nautilus+Blu Bus-Italy-K7+Zine-1989)

This is the very first production by this amazing band featuring members of  Contrazione, Kollettivo, Franti, Impeto & Assalto. 
It came out as a coproduction between the band and the  italian labels:Nautilus and Blu Bus.
Their music is an excellent and very personal form of art-rock mixed with punk,HC punk and new wave!The lyrics are great too and the booklet(here included)offers us very nice graphix works mainly as  an esquisite form of xerox art.
Beside this  cassette they released 2 lps,1 cd ,1 10inch and a split cd with Gli Aereoplani Cadono,another great band from Turin.You can get all those productions as free download from their excellent webpage where you`ll find also biography,info and pictures.

Initiative n3-[Braindeath to...]-(Fanzine-Resistance Productions-Switzerland-1996)

This is another fanzine by Resistance Productions,a label that I have covered in this blog already different times posting both  some of their tapes and zines.

N-HEXANA-Nocivo-(Katatonik Tapes-Portugal(?)-c46-199?)

This is another mystery tape.I have received it from Paulo Maldoror of  Nigredo in the beginning of the 90s.As far As I remember He didn`t give me any info about it.
I cannot find informations about this label Katanotik Tapes and there is no address listed,I can only guess it was a Portuguese label or maybe just another project by Paulo using another name.
I passed this rip to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog few years ago,I am going to add here the review written at the time by Crepusculum-thanx mate.:)

"had zero info about this incredibly rare projekt other than that {{F@R@W@Y}} received it from Paulo Maldoror quite some time ago.. another one ov those instances here when thee need came to turn to thee friend one can always rely upon for "spreading the sickness" : Mauricio.. turns out it was a projekt ov thee other member ov Portuguese ritual elektronikx projekt Nigredo: Lucrecia Bosch!! when asked how he knew this Mauricio replied: "i am a fucking bible how may times do i have to tell you that??" jeje

thee projekt name N - Hexana likely refers to N - Hexane: a chemical made from crude oil and believed to have potential carcinogenic properties..

thee cassette comes packaged with a transparency overlayed upon silver foil which makes for quite a nice visual effect!! thee texts collaged onto thee cover all refer to warnings about thee known black-lung agent: asbestos..

sonicly thee cassette consists ov two 23 minute sektions ov caustic atmospheric power-elektronikx!! what else would you expect from a projekt so obviously focussed upon these agents ov thee deterioration and maligning ov lived experience?? ov course: an effort at making us aware ov thee detriment inherent in thee toxified industrial waste ridden excesses ov this modern world..

SUBSTANDARD-Substandard-(Self Released-UK-199?)

Substandard come from Nottingham-(Northern England) and they play d-beat HC punk.They released few 7inches and some split 7 inch.
In 2003 "a single and demo discography" was released by Maximum Noise Entertainment.

The recording is pretty good and a lyrics sheet is included with the cassette.

MLEHST-Swollen Inside A Mouth-(Biotope Art Organization-UK-c60-1995)

Mlehst is the English experimental noise project founded in 1991 by All Brentnall which released many cassettes and vinyls (often in small quantities) until the project started to wind down in the late 1990s. After the last releases came out in 2001 the project was essentially defunct. In 2005, however, Mlehst has restarted his activtities and continues to release new recordings.

BASQUADE` INCHALA`-Reivindicacion-(Cryptas Records-Mexico-199?)

Basquade` Inchala` means Wake Up Brother.It is the indigenous language Charrua` from the native indigenous people of Uruguay.
This  punk band in fact come from Uruguay,they play HC Punk and sing about  human and animal liberation,freedom and revolt.

This tape contains 6 tracks,both sides of the tape  have the same songs,black and white offset printed covervsleeve with info and lyrics.

UNITI CONTRO LA GUERRA-Baghdad 1.9.9.1.-(Not On Label-Italy-1991)

Uniti Contro La Guerra is a name used by the famous hiphop band Assalti Frontali, born in Rome in 1991. They are known for their political engagement, also explicitly represented in their music, something that brings them together in groups like the 99 Posse. 
They were born from the ashes of Onda Rossa Posse,involved also in running the alterative radio station Radio Onda Rossa in Rome on the end of the 80s. 

This cassette offer us 4 tracks of political hip hop,it has all the lyrics and info on the folded cover sleeve.Very good recording too.It was a concept tape against the first war in Iraq.

For all the lovers of ragga,hip hop and ragamuffin,this is  hard to find nowadays.

UNCLE VINNIE-The Fucking Complete Uncle Vinnie-(Non Music Productions-South Africa-199?)

Another mistery tape.Uncle Vinnie comes from Oostersee in South Africa and that`s all I know about them.There is very little info on the cover sleeve.
They play a personal form of experimental music with normal instruments and weird voices with funny lyrics-somehow they remind me some stuff by Butthole Surfers although more minimal and more crazy.

The recording is pretty good and the cover sleeve is pretty nice too.

Anybody out there who knows more about them?

A great tape for cabaret lovers of the weird genius and the beast hidden into us...

MONOKROM-Der Stahlerne Traum-(Fich Art-Germany-c90-1991)

Amazing cassette by the German industrial project Monokrom,this tape offer us an excellent form of dark rhythmic noise mixed with esoteric industrial sounds. 

Fich art was founded in late 1989 by the members of ars moriendi: moata-omen, asche and t.r.g. to promote their music.This leaded to some response in the so called tape- scene but not to commercial success. In 1994 Asche ruled Fich Art on his own and so the focus changed. He released much more material of different people all more or less making dark ambient music.

Another  astonishing compilation released by the legendary Contaminated Productions,small yet very active label in the 90s.I have already posted quite few cassettes by this label.This sampler was compiled by Paulo Maldoror of  Putrefactio, He passed it to Contaminated Prods as He wasn`t able to released it at the time.It features lots of acts of extreme dark ambient,ritual music and drone industrial of those years.

The cover sleeve was made of two pictures glued together,it depicts original sculptures made by Gianni Liquoro,a famous tattoo artist nowadays.

v.a.CERIMONIAL-(The Brain Of The Monster-Italy-c90-1988)

This compilation is made of different live recordings from an experimental rock festival in Prato(Tuscany) and the Meeting Anticlericale in Fano(Marche) in 1988. It was released by The Brain Of The Monster, a radical fanzine about music and anti-art conceived by a famous mail artist: Alessandro Ceccotto in Adria. He was running a big mail art archive, and few fanzines as well.I already posted some stuff published by him as Mail Art Archive. I have no idea how many copies he printed of it.The cover sleeve was a xerox copy of red plasticized paper.About the bands: there is not much need for an introduction as many are very famous nowadays. As overall the recordings are not bad if you consider that they were all captured live.
