P820P - 2000 Dead Priests -(Self Released-Italy-1999)

P820P was a band from Rome (Italy)active at the end of the 90s. The members were involved in the squatting/anarchist scene, organizing activites in the famous Torre Maura squat. This tape is difficult to find nowadays, the recording is pretty good and the folded cover-sleeve reports info and lyrics. As for the music expect powerviolence and grind-core with double vocals shouting anger and hate against religion/state/army...

To complete this post, I add a few flyers from these glory days when P820P were playing.

SLAUGHTERGRAVE/WARPEACE - Split Tape - (Deathforce Records-Greece-2011)

Split Tape with Slaughtergrave (Grindcore band from Thessaloniki, Greece) and Warpeace (Crust punk band from Rome, Italy). Limited edition of 50 hand-numbered copies, printed in purple glossy paper. On the spine, the band Warpeace is mistakenly referred to as Warzone. So it states the split as Slaughtergrave / Warzone, which is obviously wrong. Enjoy it.

v.a-E Come se Nulla Fosse...Festa del Non lavoro 30th April/1st May 1993 (DIY-Forte Prenestino-Italy-1993)

 Fantastic compilation tape documenting the 2 days festival held in the massive squat Forte Prenestino in Rome (Italy) to celebrate May Day in 1993. A selection of great bands with a good recording, this tape will make happy many punk lovers around the globe. You find it here as wave. Enjoy it.

FUGAZI - Live A Forte Prenestino - (Kontagio Produzioni-Italy-1990)

 Another live cassette at the famous social squatted center Forte Prenestino released by Kontagio Produzioni back in the 90s. Fugazi needs no introduction,and they played in this squat a few times, this is their gig on the 24/10/1990, the recording is OK and I left it unindexed.

For who missed the other posts: Kontagio Produzioni Tapes was a small distro releasing mostly live tapes recorded in this massive squat(probably the biggest in Europe).
Forte Prenestino is, in fact, a fort squatted on the end of the 80s and still alive and kicking.

ATTRITO-Demo-(Self Released+La Pernakkia On Tapes-Italy-1990)

This one was posted on Italian Do It Yourself blog few years ago,yet Gianmaria didn`t post the booklet included in this tape,so I am now posting the whole production.

This is the first band using this name,in fact it is not to be confused with the band with the same name formed in 2008 and still active.

Some of them went on playing in other bands:Fuck Simile in the 90s and I Magneti nowadays.

La Pernakkia was an anarcopunk zine active in the self managed channel of the squats and diy distros in the 80s.
The booklet reports interviews and info about the roman punk scene of the late 80s:very interesting.I am afraid it is only in italian language.

ONE STEP AHEAD-Now-(Self Released-Italy-199?)

One Step Ahead was an Italian hardcore band from Rome formed in the late 80's; successively changed name in Open Season (3). 

They play a very good form of HC Punk straight edge recalling bands such as Youth Of Today both for the music and for the ideas/messages.

This demo offer us 7 songs well played and well recorded,the professionally printed folded cover sleeve reports info and lyrics.

A very good cassette for the lovers of the early straight edge music path.

SUPERFETAZIONE-Superfetazione-(Self Released-Italy-1988)

This is the demo by Superfetazione,an amazing punk band from Rome.
It includes 8 tracks of excellent HC Punk with some metallic influences.
It was benefit to support the studies of a Palestinian boy- and it was dedicated to  the people of Palestine.

It came out with a 17 pages lyric booklet that it is not included here,unfotunately I lost it :(

A rare diamond.

UNITI CONTRO LA GUERRA-Baghdad 1.9.9.1.-(Not On Label-Italy-1991)

Uniti Contro La Guerra is a name used by the famous hiphop band Assalti Frontali, born in Rome in 1991. They are known for their political engagement, also explicitly represented in their music, something that brings them together in groups like the 99 Posse. 
They were born from the ashes of Onda Rossa Posse,involved also in running the alterative radio station Radio Onda Rossa in Rome on the end of the 80s. 

This cassette offer us 4 tracks of political hip hop,it has all the lyrics and info on the folded cover sleeve.Very good recording too.It was a concept tape against the first war in Iraq.

For all the lovers of ragga,hip hop and ragamuffin,this is  hard to find nowadays.

FIREATWORK-Totally d.i.y- (diy cd-r -Rome-Italy-2000??)

Fireatwork is a project of electronic music coming from Rome-Italy and still active now-days.I did find their blog !It is very interesting and well done,you`ll find there lots of info about this italian project including all the collaborations and the productions that  they released on different labels,they also toured the world touching different countries and sharing the stages with  various artists.Here few lines from their page
