v.a.- Ode A Marco Veronesi - (Agnostic Dumplings Nursery-Italy-2014)

 Marco Veronesi was a key figure in the history of the famous label ADN from Milano, label covered in this blog a few times. Released in a limited edition of 300 copies with fold out poster cover. It was assembled by Piero Bielli and Riccardo Sinigaglia. A bunch of great artists playing various forms of experimental music. A fantastic sampler kindly gifted to this blog by Carlo. NO ARMY - Senza Resa - (Disobedencia Distro-Mexico-199?)

 

I must admit that I don`t know much about this band,from the liner notes of the cover-sleeve I understand  that they were punk anarchists from Milano (Italy) and active on the end of the 90s.

This tape was printed and distributed  by the Mexican Disobedencia Distro- the folded cover sleeve reports the lyrics and info in Spanish language.

It includes their demo called Senza Resa and some live tracks from their 1997 tour.

The music is classic anarcho-punk and the recordings is kind of DIY,!

YOPS! N7-(Fanzine-Italy-Jan. 1997)

Number 7 of this pictures fanzine printed by Adrea Fornaca during the 90s,I already posted the number 1 and  the Number 5 -Andrea also was managing  Pervert Zine.

In this issue 124 A5 pages in xerox copies of pictures:punk bands,punk gigs,some cool graphix,few art-random pictures and few articles too.

Here i am posting also the introduction that Andrea wrote for this issue.

ANTICORPI-Civilta`,Ma Dove?-(Self Released-Italy-1992)

5 years ago I passed this very good demo to Radiomolotov blog,I re-post it here since that link is dead now!!
There were  2 bands in the Italian boot with this name,the first active in early 80s from Brescia and this one active in the early 90s.

They play a fast old school HC punk with some thrashy  powerful guitar riffs,angry vocals and good lyrics!

I know  that Pino was in tour with 2000 Dirty Squatters and played with them for some time.At the end of the last decade He formed Anonima Disasters with Franco, who also was playing in Anticorpi .

They were from Milano and somehow involved in Cascina Occupata Ripamonti.

This is a great HC Punk demo.

Extrema is a thrash metal band from Milano(Northern Italy) active since 1985 and still alive and kicking.

Pervert Zine-(October 1995,fanzine-Italy)

Pervert was another zine cured by Andrea Fornaca,in this number interviews  with Those Who Survived The Plague,Peter Punk,Internal Conflict,Here Be Monster+Swedish punk report,Articles against homophobia and sexism and an interview to No Idea zine.

A good work and some nice pics as well.

Yops Zine n5(Fanzine-Italy-199?)

Yops was a fanzine edited and  published by Andrea Fornaca in Milano(Northern Italy) during the late 90s.
It was a  zine of pictures,mostly punk gigs and punk bands  but also pictures from friends and  art exhibitions.
I guess everything was going!!!
Back then there was no digital pictures and so the size/format was normal pictures assembled together in A5 size page and photocopied in black and white,colour copies were  very expensive.
If you are into random black and white pictures then you`ll find here some nice ones.

Centrale dell'Arte & Tasaday -Tempo Scaduto (Video-ADN,Italy-1996)

Here an amazing video by "Tasaday and Centrale dell`Arte" I think their introduction on the video cassette cover sleeve is enough.

Identity, exploded subjectivity no longer composes itself in work: work is not a space of existence because existence belongs to the spectacle of consumables. Identity must be looked for in free time, the supplementary time of the work-time, and feigns itself in the mirror image of the consumables consumed in one’s free time.
Free time doesn’t exist in work society.
Free time is the logical continuation of work, where one consumes the goods produced by someone else so that someone else can work too.
Free time is made of consumables, work is the time for the production of consumables. Consumables-time is off.
The society of consumables-time exists as truth along with the meaning it produces.
The way out, the impossible truth produces itself in a quiz, in a dream to be scratched, in the possibility to conquer consumables knowing the right answer, the one and only answer at the right time.
We are sorry, time’s off.
The virtual condition is a wheel of fortune always on the move. The right answer is: stop the wheel.
Time is no consumables, it is desire. The right answer is: free the time from work. Work is a necessity. The right answer is: let’s take control of our lives.
