THE PURPLE OHM PROJECT is  a special project created by Gina fear from Uk  and Siegmar Fricke from Germany.
Siegmar Fricke is the famous artist involved in all those bands Ambulatorio Segreto , Delta-Sleep-Inducing Peptide , Doppelwirkung , Efficient Refineries , New Tits On The Cock , Nome De Voyage 2 
and also very active as solo artist producing  cassette and albums since the end of the 80s.
Gina Fear is the artists responding to Gina & Gipsy and From Nursery To Misery
I already posted on this blog 3 tapes by Gina Fear.
This is the only one  with the name The Purple Ohm Project and it seems to be a full co-operation between those two very talented artists. Unfortunately  I cannot find any more info about this tape,I guess it was self released by both artists as it states both labels managed by themselves.
I reckon came out in the beginning of the 90s.As for the music you can listen here some very accurate hypno-electro experimental tunes and some other nice soft synth pop songs,everything is very well crafted with love and passion.The cover-sleeves are handpainted with pastel colours.
The tape number 1 is called "My Hair On Fire" and the tape number 2 brings the name "Tribes & Our Gang Guys".No info were added in the little sheet beside the  song-titles  and the artists addresses.
Anybody out there with more info about this double cassette production????

FROM NURSERY TO MISERY- Equilibrium-(c46-UK)

Another tape received long time ago from Gina Fear,I completely forgot about it,here a review I did find on discogs webpage:
 

An odd album - strangely attractive in a naive sort of way. Much of the music on this is a well-meaty synth pop with enough variety to keep you alert & interested, indeed hooked. To compare them, I'd have to say they sound not unlike B-TROOP (are they familiar to you? maybe not). A bright perky pop music, perhaps lacking the edge to make it stand out from other INDIE pop bands. It has a close, bedroom / living room sound, a sort of mellowed SWELL MAPS atmosphere (although they sound nothing like the MAPS).
So why odd? We'll, it's the vocals that stand out from the music & give it it's naivety. Gina Fear cores across with an infant-like-struggle-for-control which makes CLAIR GROGAN & KYLIE sound positively mature. You get the impression that there's more calculation than accident to this style, although sometimes it goes too far. It's almost addictive in a bizarre way. This is one for paedophiles to listen to before sleep.

This tape was self released.No idea how many copies were printed and when it was released,I guess sometimes during the 90s.

NOSTALGIE ETERNELLE & FROM NURSERY TO MISERY-Art is the tool(split tape-diy-1990-c30)

Originally released on One Last Dream label back in 1990 and with a color picture as cover, this is instead the copy that Gina Fear sent to me back in 1996 and it has a handmade cover, the name of the label is not listed and neither the year of release. Here I am attaching a review that I have found on Discogs.

Ah, now, this is a little better. The NOSTALGIE ETERNELLE side is well-played - a little moody, a little poppy. The vocalist sounds not unlike ADI NEWTON singing up an octave. The music reminded me at times of JOY DIVISION & BAUHAUS, with elements of early FASHION, without getting too close to any of these. The bassline on one of the tracks could have been pinched from THE SLITS "Love & Romance". Although in this it appears in a different and (dare I say it) better context. The vocalist is the definite focal point - these people have a bright future - invest now.
The F.N.T.M. side shows a little maturity over "Equilibrium". The music is still good, well-constructed synth mood pop, but, as ever, it's the voice of GINA FEAR which dominates. This time they use a lot more harmonics and it improves the sound no end. GINA's flat vocal style (?) takes some getting used to, but it has to be said - it grows! Considering all three review tapes, this would be a good starting point for those interested in F.N.T.M. (or NOSTALGIE ETERNELLE!).

It is a very good tape of "ancient" synth pop!!!
Considered a classic by lots of people.
