v.a.-SIENA LIVE Vol 1-(Stella Mars Product-c46-Italy-1989)

Astonishing cassette documenting some great gigs by those tuscanian acts/bands, all coming from Siena or around Siena (Tuscany).
It is all about new wave/dark wave and post punk, good recordings, nice graphics layout...it came out wih a little booklet with pics and lyrics, unfortunately, I cannot find right now in my messy collection of flyers, catalogs, mail art, fanzines.
This tape is an amazing document of the very first new wave/post punk scene of the Tuscany region in the fabolous 80s.
Enjoy it.

TRIAL OF THE BOW-Ornamentation-(Release Entertainment-USA-1995)

Formed in late 1993 by Renato Gallina (percussion/vocals) and Matthew Skarajew (stringed instruments), Trial Of The Bow emerged from the city of Melbourne, Australia's heart and the melting pot of all musical forms. While both members live and work in a metropolis, they strive to remove themselves and their listeners from this and transport them all to places exotic with their bared-down Eastern-inspired music.(from Discogs)
Trial Of The Bow is an Ambient/Neo-Folk/World Music project of two members of Australian Doom/Death act Disembowelment. This has a rare depth and integrity seldom found in most "side-projects", which suggests that this is no mere flirtation with sounds. Influences from various traditions around the world, including Arabic and Celtic, are melded into a whole that strongly recalls Dead Can Dance. Sensual tribal music from Australia, utilizing such instruments as the tamboura, manjira, and e-bow, which not only incorporates the mystical sounds which graced the band's debut but also offers a further variety of vast musical styles.(from youtube)

DISTRUST-The War Years-(Free Tapes For The Punx Distro-Singapore-2009)

It appears that there are many bands using this name.
This tape is by the band from Singapore and playing metallic crust punk and you can find some info on this Discogs page.
Free Tapes For The Punx Distro is probably a funny name made as a joke for their own self-productions.
With a good recording and a very lively energy, this is definetely a great tape for people into raw crust punk.
Enjoy it.

Lots of pictures, although printed in black and white as photocopy the quality of the pics is very good, I guess this is printed with a digital xerox machine.
It is all written in Swedish Language, so this is only for the Swedish literates.
Enjoy it.

EPATITE HC-L`Incubo-(Nuclear Disaster Records-Italy-2011)

Great totally self-released cd...Nuclear Disaster Records, in fact, seems to be the label by their drummer.
In this cd, they offer us 10 tracks of pure metallic HC Punk, although very DIY made the recording is pretty good.

Bite The Hand That Feeds The Poisoned Food N4-(Fanzine-Denmark-2005)

This is the zine by Cormy from Ireland, this issue finished to be assembled in Nov. 2005 when He was living in Denmark.
Personal writings and music mixed in his own very way making this collection of thoughts very special.
After a long intro, we`ll find here interviews to Guided Cradle from the Czech Republic and Abandon from Sweden,, few music reviews plus a very in-depth and rather funny diary of the tour with Nuclear Death Terror.
All very well decorated with a crusty edge graphic layout making this zine looking very punk.
Nice one, Cormy.

v.a.-Back To The Grindstone-(K.O. City Studio-USA-1988)

Another astonishing vinyl of the series  Grindstone.
It was released by the American K.O. City Studio in 1988 and it features a bunch of uncompromising acts playing new wave, industrial, synthpop , electro weirdness and other rather original music genres emerging in the fabulous 80s.
K.O. City Studio was a small label set up by Andrew Szava-Kovats to release his own projects. Now defunct.
Enjoy it.

This is the number 14 "Read Our Lips", all dedicated to the subjects: sexism, machism, feminism and gender issues.
Created and assembled by John Yates-(I must give him a big thanx for giving me permission to post here those outstanding magazines)- and friends during the early 90s, in this issue excellent graphics works and a long article about alternative abortion methods.
This is unquestionably a classic of the underground press from the 90s.

KIND IM GARTEN-kind Im Garten-(EE Tapes-Belgium-1996)

Kind Im Garten was a project created by Inox Kapell and Stefan Heinze.
In this 90 minutes cassette, they play a sort of mix`n`mash of styles going thru some electro, drone, minimal and avantgarde spazzed out jingles.

I have posted many tapes by this amazing Belgian label, it is still active and here you`ll find their webpage.
Enjoy it.

AUS ROTTEN-Live At MKNZ-(Atomic Fart-Slovenija-1996)

Great cassette documenting a powerful gig by the mighty Aus Rotten...the live recording is just perfect.
Few info from a Wikipedia page about them.
" Aus-Rotten was an American crust punk band active from 1991 to 2001 formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Part of the DIY underground, its members practiced and promoted a philosophy of anarchist politics. The band included lead vocalist Dave Trenga, vocalist/guitarist Eric Good, bassist Corey Lyons, and drummer Matt Garabedian. Spitboy singer Adrienne Droogas would often join the band in their later material. The band's name comes from the German word ausrotten, which translates to "extermination" or "eradication".
Enjoy this gig, very well captured with an excellent recording.

GENDERS-There's Something In The Treats-(Tigerbeats6-USA-2005)

Genders is a duo composed by Evan and Jeans playing an interesting mix of art rock, no wave, minimal sequences + experimental electronic music with a very lo-fi key.
This miniCD was conceived and produced with a very DIY approach.
"Recorded in June 2005 with Evan`s 8 track by us with help by Evan`s Father Curt Johnson..."
Tigerbeat6 is a San Francisco and Berlin- based independent and (mostly) electronic record label run by Kid606 (Miguel De Pedro).[1] The label is run as a DIY operation and releases a variety of electronic music styles, including noisecore, intelligent dance music, bedroom pop, folktronica, and electronica-driven hip hop.[2] The name reflects De Pedro's obsession with cats, which also comes to light in the catalog numbers, all of which start with MEOW. It is also a loose reference to the top-selling teen magazine Tiger Beat. The label's first release was in 2000; it has over two hundred releases in total.[3] A 2001 compilation of the label's output was described as "stripping intelligent dance music of its intelligence[,] often resorting to outright silliness, and sometimes parody."[4] The AV Club described the same compilation as satirizing glitch through "gestures borrowed from punk, indie-rock, and hip-hop."[5]
Tigerbeat6 has four sub-labels: Nibbana, Shockout, Tigerbass & Violent Turd.(from wikipedia)
I really like this, I think is pretty good...
Enjoy it.
