MURDER CORPORATION-Disturbance-(Slaughter Productions-Italy-Double K7 c60-1995)

"M.C was born in 1992, nearly as a joke. The name was chosen later as I felt that fitted perfectly the content of the music that I was making. I started listening to Heavy Metal, Punk, Hardcore, moving later to Dark Gothic EBM and finally Industrial music. The first Industrial record I got into was “Discipline” by T.G. . The people who influenced me the most were Merzbow and particularly Boyd Rice. Also William Bennet and Kevin Tomkins inspired me. For the first recordings I used mostly tapes, noises, short waves and distorted voices. Successively I adopted a sampler Akai s01 and a tone generator (V.C.O)."

Recorded at Murderhouse, January 95.
Packaged in a vhs box with artwork pasted directly on.
Limited edition of 40 copies.

Reprinted by Urashima in 2016 as double vinyl, Tracks remastered from the original tapes and the record has been pressed on double 140 gr black vinyl with black label and black inner sleeve and comes in a perfect replica of original artwork sleeve with 30x30 sheet on 200 gr pure white paper and insert, in an edition of 199 copies.

v.a.-The X-Mas-Compilation (Ebus Music-EM024+025-Germany-1992-2xC63 in a videobox with 28-pages booklet)

After posting few tapes by the legendary Ebus Music I got back in touch with Carsten Olbrich, the mastermind of this label, I was planning to transfer this double compilation to my pc when he told me that he already had it as digital format,so this is his rip, I asked him to write an introduction to include in this post,  after all, who better than him could write an intro for this great sampler???
Carsten is still very active and you can check his official webpage please go here.
He also plays in a cool radio each 1st Tuesday of every month(8pm to 10pm)please go here to listen to his show, and here the link for his playlists.
So I finish now and leave you all to his nice and detailed introduction.
Big thanx Carsten for passing me this compilation already in digital format and your great remembrances.Enjoy it!

"I cannot remember my first impulse to organize a "X-Mas Compilation". After a few years of EBUS Music this was not the first compilation release, and so I created a very simple flyer and asked also some friends from the tapescene for contributions. The first deadline (end of Novemver 1991) was much too close to X-Mas. Some mastertapes reached me in the mid of December, and I also ran a recall for artwork. At least the X-Mas Compilation was planned to be released one year later in December 1992. Well, it finally came out at Easter 1993, which was a kind of dada-joke to me, even if some people found it strange to listen to Christmas music in April ;-)

Didi was a christian ex-junkie without confession, who later got some fame with his S/M EBM project "Call" (first album "Domina")
L'Edarps A Moth was a good friend from Frankfurt, a very active musician for the tape-underground. He was also the editor of the "Independent-Kontakter" which came out at his "Büro für Akute Planung". His two tracks were recorded at X-Mas 1989 and in 1990.
Richard Youngs was a new artist from England to me. He already had a large discography and sent his 12"-vinyl-LP "Advent" as present together with his master tape. He wrote a detailed description of his traditional Christmas with his dad, which I printed in the booklet.

Schmertz der Welten is my own project. I altered the lyric of the German X-Mas-song "Alle Jahre Wieder" into something ironic about violence against children, and recorded to the original melody my very own version (even if the vocals level is to low...). The other track "Weihnachtsmann um Mitternacht" is still exclusive until today like many other contributions.

Some more new contacts to me were The Tall Bald Grandfathers, Xerpphyte, Dee Jay Emm (who sent much more artwork than i could use), Majorana, Raimondo Del Prete, SHA 261 and Chris Wind.
Chris Wind is a feminist writer, actress and musician from Canada. I took three short pieces from her "Christmas Album". After she received her free copy, she replied with a thankful postcard, but wrote, that she didn't liked any of the other tracks ;-)
Also Frak from the Swedish label Börft Records contributed an exclusive track.
Matthias Schöller was a musician from the local band "Vague Venture". He also released a whole tape ("The Path") on EBUS Music.

Steve Hartwell from Peeved Records, England sent tracks from "Deaf Goes East" and from his better-known project "Dead Goldfish Ensemble".

Also  Eiaculazione Amusicale came on board. We had a little misunderstanding with the artwork of his booklet-page. In this digitalized version for this Blog you will find the exchanged page.
My friends Haiko Herden ("The Evasion On Stake") and Alexander Pohle ("Beton Tapes" sent their exclusive X-Mas Medley, which should only be released under a different artist name "Band Aids".

"Doves Under Chairwalk" and "Cult Goes Culture" were both projects of Thomas Deppermann who ran the tapelabel "Culture Tapes"

B.O.P. is a shortcut for "Base Of Pyramid". The two persons behind (Tom Pyramid and Ms McGuire) were a couple with whom i and the femalse drummer Anette Bum Betz formaly made music as "Top Of Pyramid".
"Etat Des Stocks" war Patrick Perent from the Belgian label "Red Neon Tapes"

"Telepherique" were Danijela Jochim, Rene Jochim and Klaus Jochim. Klaus was also my contact-person for the label "Drahtfunk Produkt".

"Klimperei" is a well-known project of Christophe Petchanaz. He created a totally unique version of "Stille Nacht" and dedicated the title to me.

"D.M.A.D.T." was a a project of Carsten Vollmer from the label "Cat Killer" with an exclusive track recorded live on 9 Oct 1991.

"Knut Baltz Formation" existed even in the GDR. Florian Merkel sent four b/w photos from 1989 and 1990 which I used for the booklet.

Raimondo Del Prete with his child sent a quite long "Christmas Pudding" from which I choose a short extract. At least I was a bit sad for them, that my choice was that short.
SHA 261 wrote in a personal letter to me, that the French word "Noel" comes from the meaning "No Hell".

The X-Mas Compilation was released in a limited edition of 100 copies."

DAS TRAUMA SYNDROM-Hartung (Cadenced Noise-Italy-1993-double c46)

Double c46 for this German artist which name is Herald Gallinis and he did release other stuff using the same name without  the initial "Das" !!
His music is a kind of electro well structured and combined with synth and vocals. It reminds me some stuff of the Legendary Pink Dots and similar bands of the dark-electro-wave scene in the 90s.
The label is Cadenced Noise from Italy which released some interesting stuff during its brief life.
The package is made by the two  hard plastic cassette covers  glued together, color cover sleeve + b/w copies with info and addresses.
Good old music!!!

VICTIMS - double c60 - Extreme Smoke 57 + Yugoslavian Compilation (Tabula Rasa-Italy-1995)

Victims is a double cassette+zine released by Tabula Rasa in 1995 with the help and support of Contaminated Productions.
The project was about the war in the ex-Yugoslavia happened in the early 90s.
The zine included  some letters from Yugoslavians friends of Contaminated Prods telling their experiences during the  war and few interesting articles about  the reality of that war.
The music is by Extreme Smoke 57 on one tape and the other tape is a compilation of Yugoslavian bands playing mostly grind core.
The package was very well done-the two tapes  glued on a piece of wood and then all attached to the fanzine-All was coming in a fabric folder  sprayed with a stencil.(pics here)
All the articles and letters are in Italian, however in this folder I did included all the English translations, provided by my friend Babs, thanx a lot Babs.
As introduction to this very special tape production I think it is just easy and better to let you read what Contaminated Productions boss wrote to introduce this project at the time.
I guess Carlo of Tabula Rasa didn`t print many of these tapes and I know this is pretty rare now days.
Enjoy it and good reading too.
ps-these tapes are not indexed.

Victims – A problem solved

Tabula rasa

Creating

Producing

Distributing

… It doesn’t seem easy to write the presentation of this double-tape because of all the things that have happened in these years, so I’ll try to go in order and explain the reasons of this revival occurred four years later.

In September 1991 I received these two tapes from MILAN DURIC (from Smeredevo) along with thirty numbered covers so that I could help him spread the work made by his friend, the then singer (or guitarist) with EXTREME SMOKE 57, in Italy.

At the time I was regularly in touch with Milan as we used to exchange tapes and ideas. Then with his last letter (which came along with the two tapes and is published here), Milan warned me of the coming of the conflict and asked me not to forgive him should he die in that absurd war.

During the same period (1990-91) I established a strong and extensive correspondence with SASA MILUTINOVIC (from Sarajevo), and I still manage to exchange letters and messages with him thanks to
some Catholic humanitarian associations, which are currently providing for postal services in those areas of ex-Yugoslavia.

I wonder whether the two boys have ever met. However we decided to publish their letters for this reason: on the one hand Milan’s last letter which was never followed by any other (perhaps Milan died in the war, perhaps – as we hope – he managed to escape), on the other hand the many letters sent by Sasa, which depict the tragedy of the war, its fears and the horror which is going on a few kilometres away from us.

Their letters are a direct, simple and effective documentation of the war in Yugoslavia.

Two boys who before the war were interested in self-production, distribution, punk music … who are they now? What have they become?

We can have a hint from Sasa’s last letters but we don’t intend to play the sociologists or psychoanalysts. What we feel the urge to do now is to make known the work of these two boys who had so much in common with us.

Coming back to the music, when I received these two tapes I was a little bit puzzled. Indeed, some of the titles on the cover of Extreme Smoke 57 didn’t appeal much to me (see ‘Rape Your Sister or ‘Cicciolina’). The recording was not that good either. For these reasons, added to a series of coincidences occurred at that time in my life, I didn’t take care of spreading these tapes.

Today, in the light of the mistakes made in these years, I decided to pass this material on to Carlo of TABULA RASA!, and help him prepare this production, especially to get the chance to talk about my Yugoslavian friends and of this sad war.

If you bought this production only to listen to the bands you might be disappointed, but in this world there are many other things besides music… a word to the wise…
