ANEMONE TUBE/HUNGER-Split Tape-(Transfixional Entertainment-Germany-1997)

This split tape is the very first release of the German label Transfixional Entertaimnet,managed by Stefan Hanser,the mastermind behind the amazing esoteric electronickx project called Anemone Tube.It was founded  in the summer 1996. The audio works of Anemone Tube are a unique blend of dark ambient and industrial/noise music with a strong psychogenic impact. The use of constantly shifting and altering sounds and moods is possibly one of the most intriguing things about the audio creations of Anemone Tube.

Hunger is a band formed in 1996 in Bodensee, they moved to Hamburg in 1998. Members are Jörg Hochapfel, Christoph Rothmeier, Karsten Hochapfel (only on first Split Cassette),go here to check their official website.
The cover sleeve of this split tape is a piece of  wall paper that seems to be painted with  2 types  of yellow coatings,it came out with an info--sheet.All the scans provided :)
It was released in a limited edition of 150 copies,I guess this is hard to find nowadays.

ATARAXIA-Prophetia-(Self Released-Italy-c60-1990)

Ataraxia is an Italian neoclassical Goth opera^[1] band who combine modern technology with archaic instrumentation over various media. They describe their music as a cross "between sacred and profane, ethereal and neo-classical, contemporary and early music". They make researches into the European legends crossing the Greek and Latin myths. Their lyrics are written in many ancient and contemporary languages. Many of their performances take place in locations the band believes to possess specific spiritual qualities. Since the beginning of the group in the late 1980s, they have released more than 20 original LPs.(from wikipedia)
This is their first tape and it came out with a long A4 pages zine in italian language,it is included here.

AZOIKUM-Wahnsinn-(Self Released-c60-Germany-1997)

Another nice cassette by the German power-electronics project Azoiukum,I posted already one tape by this project,go here to read that post and get that tape.
Some info taken from discogs:Power Electronics and Harsh Noise outfit which was founded back in 1997. The contents Azoikum uses are mainly sick and dark subjects, going deep into the depth of humanity's madness and depravity, for the most part from a rather misanthropic point of view. Although concentrating on traditional Power Electronics and Harsh Noise the sound of Azoikum can be very varied, with bits and pieces of Death Industrial, Dark Ambient and Experimental to be found here and there. Azoikum also involves a lot of black humour because the outfit uses many Industrial and Power Electronics clichees ad nauseam, especially in video projections during live performances.

BAD INFLUENCE-Afterbirth-(Genet Records-Belgium-1995)

Legendary Belgian doomish/crusty metal-punk band Bad Influence released this excellent album in 3 versions back in 1995.
As mini-album on the German Skuld Releases,as cd on the Belgian Genet Recs and  as cassette on the Polish Lagart Factory Goblin.

This is a classic from the past and I cannot get enough of it,great album,very nice  package,astonish graphix and lyrics.

A masterpiece.

PHILIP PERKINS-The Remotes (1)-(Fun Music-Usa-1990)

Philip Perkins (born 1951) has been involved in experimental music since the mid-1960’s. He now works as a noted sound effects designer for documentary films. As a musician or sound engineer, he has collaborated with "Blue" Gene Tyranny, The Residents (making videos and recording Stars and Hank for ever & The Tune Of Two Cities), Carl Stone, amongst others. He ran his own label Fun Music from 1979 to 1996 (?).

This tape is a live radio broadcast works where lots of musicians are involved,I am going to attach here the introduction that Philip wrote to present this tape.

An excellent work for people into weird music and sounds voyages.

SCATHA/QUARANTINE-Live at 121-London-Sat.11th Nov. 1995-(Ex CIM Okkupato Prods-Italy-c60-1996)

Scatha was formed in mid 1995 in Glasgow-Scotland, from the ashes of Sedition, Disaffect and Stretchheads,active until 2003.
Quarantine was another Scottish band formed from the ashes of Debris (3) and Disaffect.
Both bands play a very original form of hardcore punk mixing angry vocals with melodic music yet fast and furious HC punk with political lyrics.Never touching the emo-core.
This tape production is a little miracle of the international squatting scene,in fact it was recorded at the famous 121@centre in Brixton-South London (UK) but for international relationships amongst squatters the master tape ended up in the Ex Cim Squat in Foggia-Southern Italy,since the recording is very good and in that Italian squat there were lots of punks in love with those bands they thought to release this on tape.
A great tape production for the crust punks worldwide.
