v.a. - NAIVE - (Earache-UK-1992)

 Just giving this a 20th anniversary listen, I'm blown away. It becomes so obvious that at that time Earache was THE leading label for category-defying heavy music. Some of the greatest heavy string players are featured on it (Justin Broadrick, James Plotkin, Bill Laswell, Al Cisneros, Matt Pike), all of whom had already written major chapters in heaviness or were starting to do so.

DEATH RACE-Death Race-(Self Released-2005)

 7 tracks on this self released CD-R by this combo ,I must admit I don`t know much about it, all I know is that it was recorded in 2005, and I guess they are British! They play a nice form of heavy stoner rock, the music is well recorded and the spartan cover sleeve reports very little info.

MAYA-Slow Escape-(Conspiracy Records-Belgium-1996)

I passed this album to Radiomolotov blog few years back,that link isn`t working anymore and this album is too good to be left forgotten and buried.

I must to post it again here.

This Belgian band mixes together with excellent skills and fantasy stoner rock,HC punk,psychelic rock and some extreme doom metal.All goes smooth and degenerated from the lyrics of incredible shades about mysticim and horrors to the very nice artwork:this album is a must for all the lovers of great 

and original music.
