v.a.-Noise Against Racism Vol. 2-(HNM Records-UK-2019)

58 tracks by a bunch of antifascists musicians playing various forms of industrial noise.
It was released on the 12th August 2019 as a digital product available on their Bandcamp Page where you can listen to this amazing sampler, download it choosing your price and check their other great releases and related artists.
HNM stands for Harsh Noise Movement and it is been described as a "blueprint for how labels can progress in the digital age without compromising their vision".
Here a small note about this release from their page.
"It's been 2 years since the first Noise Against Racism compilation was brought out. During that time HNM Records parted company with the other label that hosted it, Blackened Death Records, due to the fact that BDR had previous affiliations with Nazi bands, and the label owner's own previous racist views.
The Noise Against Racism compilation idea was created by HNM Records in the first place and all bands sent material to HNM.
Anyway, enough of the ranting. FUCK FASCISM.
Huge thanks to all that have contributed to this compilation."

v.a.-Quarantine Compilation 2020 Vol 1-(Tape Goblin-c90-USA-2020)

This sampler offers to us a bunch of artists playing various forms of noise industrial!
It was released on a c90 K7 on the 7th of April 2020 and it is already sold out but you can get it as a digital release on their Bandcamp Page.
Some useful info from their page.
"A collection of noise tracks from 22 extremely talented artists made in social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All profit from sales of this album are donated to RAICES Texas, a charity that provides legal representation to children detained at the US-Mexico border, to whom innumerable injustices have been dealt, and for whom the dangers of this virus are multiplied.
I have made the digital release of this album free to stop Bandcamp from taking the majority of revenue that's supposed to go to charity. If you download the album digitally, please consider donating directly to RAICES, or another charity if you prefer."

v.a.-Songs About Women (In The 21st Century)-(Digital Release-UK-2014)

Musicians rose to the challenge set by the band Gertrude to submit a track about a woman in the 21st century. The result is an eclectic and vibrant compilation album, offering a variety of feisty garage punk, electronica and folk, as well as a dash of street poetry. All the tracks on the album will be reviewed by Gertrude on their blog at gertgossip.wordpress.com You are welcome to add your responses to the album here too.
This album was mastered at Bentstring Studio, November 2014. The cover art is by a revolutionary Cuban artist called José Gómez Fresquet. The image is called 'Series of dreams of the Americas' and was completed in 1969.
A big thank you to all the artists who appear on this album. The first track on the album was recorded live (on a phone), at an open mic night during a political occupation of 4 boarded-up council flats which was instigated by the Focus E15 campaign.
Let's carry on representing politics, women's lives and histories through words and music. (info from their Bandcamp page. where this compilation is available as a free download)
