HOVERCRAFT - Experiment Below - (Blast First/Mute-UK-1998)

 Hovercraft.A defunct band from Seattle, founded 1993 by Ryan Campbell (alias Campbell 2000) and Beth Liebling (alias Sadie 7, Eddie Vedder's former wife), out of the ashes of the band called Space Helmet, which also included members of Magnog. They gave their last concert 16th February 2001 in Seattle.

It is rumored that Eddie Vedder was a drummer for this band going first as full-time drummer under the name Jerome230 and then joining them on tour later on.

Together with Mary Hansen, they released an album under the moniker Schema (5).(from Discogs)

LUNACHICKS – Cookie Moshter / Complication-(Blast First-UK-1990)

 

Lunachicks are an American punk rock band from New York City.^[1] The band formed in 1987 and had been on hiatus since 2000,they reunited for a 20-minute set at CBGB's on April 6, 2002 with Benezra on guitar and English on drums.^[13] Another reunion took place at the March for Women's Lives Benefit in Washington, D.C. on April 24, 2004 as a four-piece with English on drums. In November 2019, the Lunachicks announced their first reunion in 15 years which they were set to perform two nights at Webster Hall in April 2020. Notes

Full colour poster sleeve, packaged in clear plastic sleeve with 4cm diameter cookie sticker.

Labels (not sleeve) have band name intentionally misspelled as Lunachips in keeping with the cookie theme.

Nice compilation with a bunch of great artists: those tunes go swiftly through sensitive brain`s dunes touching some industrial, some grey noise and a proportionate dose of strange passages.

A good sampler of abrasive sonic experiments.
