DANIELE CIULLINI-Forgotten Monuments-(Self Released-Italy-2016)

Last astonishing work by the sound sculptor/mail artist and cross-cultural genius Daniele Ciullini.
I spoke about him when I posted his digital album Resti(2014) and the mini album Identita` Sonora(2016).
In those 3 tracks Daniele offers us an exquisite example of atmospheric ambient noise.A nice virtual gift for this year just started, thank you Daniele.
Enjoy it.

LUDICHRIST Live At The Right Track Inn-Long Island-NY-5th March 1986-(Bootleg Tape-Not On Label-Usa-1986)

This tape is not from my collection and the digital conversion is not mine.I have found this on FB and I asked permission to Mahler Maze who had this tape and converted into digital few days ago.
So  big thanx to him for donating to my blog this preciuos pearl,I am a big fan of this band and I am very happy to share this here. The poster is from the very same tour...yet another date. Here I gonna c+p the info that Mahler wrote:
"Just finished restoring & mastering this absolutely KILLER live tape by LUDICHRIST when they supported the Crumbsuckers in March 1986. The source tape was 1st generation (From the bassists brother) & this is a different gig than the one that's on the F.O.A.D. reissue & different than the bootleg that's on some blogs out there. 17 tracks of raging ultra fast metallic HC in 35 minutes"
To complete this post I am gonna attach here a great video-gig showing Ludichrist during those old days. They were just amazing.
Enjoy it.

Zine World n.18-A Reader`s Guide To The Underground Press-(Fanzine-Usa-2003)

"Zine World: A Reader's Guide to the Underground Press was an independent publication which covers independent and underground media. It was the largest review zine being published in the United States throughout the late 2000s. It reviewed mostly zines, but also books, comics, newsletters, videos and spoken word recordings. The material it covered was generally available directly from the publishers, and each review included ordering information and other specifics (such as whether or not the item is free to prisoners, or the publisher's trade policy). Its news section covered free speech issues, and other topics of interest to the independent publishing community. It also included a word of mouth section, with reports on distros and stores, zine libraries, other review zines, and publishing resources. It published columns by Karl Wenclas, Jeff Somers, Grant Schreiber, Christoph Meyer, Gianni Simone, and other prominent underground writers. It featured illustrations by Alan Lastufka, Sue Clancy, Violet Jones, Cole Johnson, Mike Twohig, and a wide variety of other indie artists.
The zine was launched as Zine World in 1996 by Doug Holland as a more opinionated alternative to Factsheet Five, but has continued publishing since its larger competitor's disappearance in 1998. In 1999, it changed its name to A Reader's Guide to the Underground Press, and began using both names in 2003. It was once widely decried (in its own letters section, on the Usenet group alt.zines, and elsewhere) for running gratuitously negative reviews (particularly from departed contributor Joe Gallo), but is now less controversial. It now publishes roughly three times a year. After Holland stepped down in 2000, Jerianne Thompson became editor/publisher and supervised the all-volunteer staff. The final issue, #31, was published in 2012.
The review staff included: Ailecia Ruscin, Andrew Mall, Chantel G., clint johns, Dann Lennard, Emerson Dameron, e.war, Jaina A Davis, Heath Row, Laura-Marie Taylor, Ryan Mishap, Susan Boren, and Tom Hendricks. Past reviewers include: Alan Lastufka, artnoose, Fred Wright, Jason Koivu, Jeff Kay, Joe Biel, Joe Smith, Kyle Bravo, Marc Parker, Michael Jackman (also former news editor), Stephanie Webb, and Violet Jones."
(from Zinewiki)
This is a great fanzine full of info about the underground press of the  late 90s and early 2000.This issue has a brilliant cover sleeve.Enjoy it.
