PUNCHLINE "Age Of Discover Up"- N12-(Magazine-Usa-1992)

Number 12 of this astonishing magazine,it came out in 1992,the year of the celebrations(or anti-celebrations) for the american continet`s discovery.

Of course an issue of Punchline had to be dedicated to the anti-celebrations.So,amazing graphix works and messages against the rape/destructions of the indigenus people/culture and other interesting related issues. For whover missed my other posts about this great magazine:this was the amazing magazine created and assembled  by John Yates-(I must give him a big thanx for giving me permission to post here those fantastic magazines)- and  friends during the early 90s.

Each number dedicated to a different subject.I have already posted the number 7.5"cop"the Number 5 "WARning" and The number 13 "Static Elect Trickery".

This issue has also a very intersting introduction by John.A "must have" magazine for all the lovers of the old underground press.

Long anarcopunk compilation  on a 90 minutes cassette benefit for the anarchist black cross.Lots of good bands and very good recordings all the tape around.Few info+addresses reported in the cover sleeve.

PROJECTO JIL-The Master Plan-(Kadath-Portugal-c50-1996)

3 tracks on each side in this 50 minutes cassette by the portuguese project :Projecto Jil.
Different influeces converge in those songs creating quite an interesting fusion of styles.
It seems that there are various cover sleeves of this release.

A nice tape-work for new age creative listeners.

HIATUS-The Brain + El Sueno De La Razon Produce Monstruos-(Nabate-Belgium-1999)

Extraordinary Hiatus released this amazing cd via Nabate in 1999.Their last production is the cd version of the last two albums "El Sueno De La Razon Produce Monstruos" previously released by Nabate in 1995 and  the 12 inch "The Brain" out on the german Skuld Releases in 1996 plus three unreleased practice-tracks and one live song. It also contains two unreleased tracks and  comes with a booklet of 32 pages with lyrics, artworks, a bonanza of DIY flyers & posters and a very funny tour report. 

I already wrote about them when I posted a very good live tape 

recorded in Slovenia in 1996.For all the crust punk lovers around the world,this cd is a masterpiece.

Best Crust Punk Band Ever.

Bonds Of Friendship n7-(Fanzine-Belgium-1994)

Very nice and original fanzine by Joris from Kapellen in Belgium.In this issue long travel reports about Nepal and Belgium,an interview to Neurosis and lots of personal writings about different subjects.

Few nice pics too.

RATOS DE PORAO/GOD-(Split Tape)-Concerto Al CSA Udine-(Not On Label-Italy-1989)

Live split tape with 2 good bands both gigs recorded at the social squatted center of Udine(Northern Italy) in 1989.Both recordings are very good but there is very little info about the bands.

God was band from The Netherlands,at the time of this gig they had  already released 2 lps,they play a nice form of pysch rock mixed with some grunge influences,post rock with powerful guitar riffs.

Ratos De Porao  was an hardcore/punk band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 1981.They are definetely very well known now. Ratos de Porão means "Basement Rats" in Portuguese. 

A nice split tape created by the squatters of this social center with the original recordings of those great gigs.

HARDHEADED SOUL-Levend In Zagreb-(Nur Sch Rec!-Austria-1992)

Hardheaded Soul is band from Eindhoven(The Netherlands) playing a heavy form of  bass propelled improvised ,at time jazzy,punk! This tape was recorded live in Zagreb and it has a very good recording. It seems that they are still active. A Discogs page about them is here.

Nuc Sch Rec!  was a label from Austria run by Martin Reiter, who by 1990 was also singer/guitarist in post-punk trio Loud.
