v.a.- ACIL Urgent Solidarity Music - (Radio Chiguiro-France-Bandcamp-2023)

ACIL means "EMERGENCY" in Turkish language.

Facing the human disaster linked to the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria, a wave of solidarity was born spontaneously within Radio Chiguiro Records.
Everybody was hit by this disaster. Since the label's first charitable activities, the team has been convinced that art and music can play this role: to go beyond their primary function by helping people in need.

In just 4 days, 54 incredible artists from 28 countries have joined this solidarity adventure to form this great compilation of electronic music from Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and elsewhere. Whether techno, amapiano, batida, downtempo, afro-house, abstract hip-hop, ambient, singeli, drum'n'bass, latin or experimental, we hope that the magic of music will work to help victims.

Radio Chiguiro would like to thank all the artists who participated in the compilation, without forgetting those who support the project, even from afar.

At first, ACIL is available exclusively on Bandcamp for the price of 10€, and 100% of the funds raised will be donated to the French NGO Alliance Urgences.

The mission of the Alliance Urgence is to organize mobilization, and in particular fundraising, in the event of the occurrence of a humanitarian emergency. These funds are then allocated to the NGO members of the association (Action contre La Faim, Care France, Handicap International, Médecins du Monde, Plan International France and Solidarités International) with a view to organizing humanitarian aid in the field.
Following the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, the Alliance Urgences launched an appeal for solidarity.

In addition to the compilation, you can also support the NGO via this link:

KENO-Retroflex Ep-(Bandcamp-UK-2020)

“Retroflex" was a recording project developed by Keno throughout the coronavirus lock down period. What started out as an experiment in pairing electronic drums with electric guitars, soon became a 5 track EP. After sending ideas back and forth online, the music was recorded in a living room in Clapton.

As this recording project was approached as a one-off, there is no plans to use sequenced instruments live in the future, but it was an interesting experiment to utilise what was there at the time.

Any money generated by sales will be equally donated to two organisations that offer support to communities affected by social hardship and institutionalised racism. One is based in the UK and the other in Australia. We do not plan to recoup any money for the production costs of the tape etc.

v.a.-Sri Lanka - ශ්‍රී ලංකාව -(Syrphe-Bandcamp-2022)

A compilation dedicated to the Sri Lankan people, all benefits will be given to Raise Sri Lanka, an organisation that collects money in order to supply medicines to those in need.

Sri Lanka is one more country that faces a huge crisis due to political, economic and agronomic mismanagement and corruption.
For the first time in its history, the country is facing famine. This is not due to climate change and bad weather conditions but to corrupted politicians whose noble ambition to entirely ban pesticides was implemented from one day to another without prior knowledge of the dreadful consequences of such badly planned action.
A switch to organic agriculture is important but it is obvious that such change should be done slowly and carefully. There is no need to be a genius to understand that organic agriculture produces less than the current agricultural model, especially if farmers have not been taught how to deal with organic farming.

Some people never learn.

History has showed us what kind of disaster politicians with little understanding of agriculture and land management can trigger, even when they come from a farmer family (I think about Chinese leader Mao Zedong and its attempt to eradicate sparrows that led to a booming locust population that ate everything in its path, therefore, grain production in most rural areas collapsed and a massive famine began but I also think about the Khmer Rouge policies in Cambodia that had foreseeable and avoidable consequence and that despite the regime’s leaders awareness of their catastrophic effects continued to be strictly enforce and led to a famine too).

In the Khmer language, two words exist to define "famine", one is "turaphik" (when starvation is due to natural causes), the other one is "bong-ot", that implies human causality.

Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his clan brought an entire nation to its knees by misguided ambitions that are unfortunately leading to "bong-ot".

Money will be sent to this campaign :

v.a.-Cut-Up: A Music Compilation in Honor of William S. Burroughs -(The Church Of Noisy Goat-Brasil-2022)

Listen to our second netlabel compilation. Inspired and conceived in honor of William S. Burroughs and his industrial music work by cutting loops from magnetic tapes. We surpassed our goal with 62 beautiful tracks thanks to the cooperation of all the artists who follow us and support us tirelessly. We want to thank everyone and say that we are very happy that this has happened in our history and that we can share it.

This work demonstrates that Underground is very engaged. Unreleased and previously released tracks by artists of various musical styles, which proves that the artistic genre of collage developed by William Burroughs is omnipresent and very fruitful in experimentalism. I sincerely hope that you enjoy this work in partnership that is inserted today in our Bandcamp and take a copy by Free Download (Name Your Price) and have fun with this overview of the world scene of cut and paste sounds.
