Aphora ‎– Crematore -(Maldoror Tapes-Portugal-1996)

Amazing single side cassette by this obscure Portuguese project active in the 90s.6 tracks infusing acertain kind of industrial mixed with dark ambient and noise.

Maldoror Tapes was a small Portugese label founded by José Vilela, specialized in industrial, ambient and power electronics. All of their releases were extremely limited cassettes (typically 20 or 30 copies each), with a J-card made from an actual photograph, with the title and label number written in rub-on letters. A small photocopied insert was also included with each release, containing the tracklisting and other information.

THE BRAIN OF MORBIUS-Ronnie Corbett`s Dead-(Bastard Haircut Records-UK-1990)

Legendary 12 ep by the weirdest band ever...genial and uncompromising Brain Of Morbius is not a band to describe easily!

 Absolutely mental as a live act! Lots of screaming, bleeding, crazy surreal keyboards and a seriously insane attitude to music are just a few of the ingredients that you can find in Brain Of Morbius songs! 

Back in 2014, I have posted their cd Pissing ON The Disco Lights released in 2000 and it is not yet listed on Discogs. Check it out if you like weird experiments and crazy vocals + more insane passages.

Gonna attach 3 videos from Youtube and I left this vinyl rip as waves.

THE PEOPLE`S WAR-Making Enemies-(Coalition Records-The Netherlands-2002)

Great  7inch by The People`s War, a hardcore-punk band from Memphis, Tennessee(USA). 

Their fast and furious HC punk reminds me of the energy and the rage of the first Hardcore punk bands from the States. 9 tracks of violent music with political lyrics spat on your face.

This edition comes with a 20-page booklet, poster and photo strip. The booklet has amazing graphics + lyrics.
 

Coalition Recs is a Hardcore punk & indie rock label based in The Netherlands. Releases material from a wide variety of international artists including a number of punk & hardcore bands from the United States. 

If you are into political hardcore punk then don`t miss this one.

A short yet very interesting zine created by Mark Lo in Eatontown (NJ) on the end of the 80s.

This is the third issue and it contains no interviews but various interesting rants, a Japanese scene report and lots of zines & music reviews.

A gorgeous collection of music from artists who have donated their music to assist people on the ground in Yemen.
As you’re probably aware the people of Yemen have endured five years of war decimating the country’s infrastructure and leaving the majority of the civilian population exposed to hunger, disease and homelessness. Not to mention the dangers of COVID-19.
It was compiled by Dutch sound artist and composer Michel Banabila, who has enticed everyone from Rutger Zuydervelt aka Machinefabriek to Anne Bakker, Rapoon, Pierre Bastien, Christine Ott, Radboud Mens, Stijn Hüwels and even Cyclic Defrost web editor Peter Hollo (Raven) to contribute pieces. WHIRLING PIG DERVISH-Full Feather Lovesuit-(Gruff Wit Records-UK-1991)

Great 7 inch by this Scottish post-hardcore band from Glasgow! 
I have already written about them when I posted their cassette Out Of Tune,Out Of Time... released in 1991  just as this vinyl.

Expect the same dose of weird and original sounds, fragmented guitar riffs, broken rhythms, screamed vocals and more rather bizarre passages.

A wonderful 7inch for people into difficult Post-Hardcore Punk to digest.
It comes with a little info-sheet with lyrics, all the relevant scans included here.

ANTICORPI-Civilta`,Ma Dove?-[Re-Issue,Best Sound Quality]+Biography+Videos-(Self Released-Italy-1992 > 2017)

Back in 2009, I digitalized this amazing cassette and I passed it to Radiomolotov blog! Then I have re-posted it in this blog back in 2015, unfortunately, my copy has a little glitch on 1 track. Yet many people downloaded it and some also used my rip for their Youtube channels.

 Lately, I got in touch with Pino(The guitarist) and He kindly passed me a much better copy of this demo to share here, as there was almost no info on the net about this obscure yet great band I have asked Pino to write a little biography and He also passed me many original and unreleased videos both from the 90s and from their reunion in 2017, that I, very happily uploaded on my Youtube channel.

Today I can, therefore, offer you a great sound quality of this legendary demo, I left it as wave files + some useful info about Anticorpi and a few videos.

A very big THANX to Pino for his help and for passing me all these astonishing pearls from the band`s archive.

 Biography  

Anticorpi was born at the end of 1988.

In the beginning, the line up was Jury =bguitar, Igor =bass guitar and Massimo on drums. In 1990 Igor and Massimo left the band and the line up changed with Pino on guitar, Jury on bass, Poldo on drums and Franco singing.

The band was active playing gigs from 90 to 92 mainly around the Milano and Bergamo area, but also touring the Basque Country in 1990.

In 1992, Poldo left the band and Pino started his adventure with 2000 Dirty Squatters. These events marked the demise of the band. Nevertheless, the band managed to record a demo, "Civilta`, ma dove?" in only 10 hours before they completely split up.

In 2017 and 2019 Anticorpi reunited with Stilo on bass guitar, he played the drums for a brief period in the early days, before Poldo joined the band! 
Anticorpi played 2 gigs, one at the Circolo Anarchico "Ponte Della Ghisolfa" in Milano and another one at Laboratotio Anarchico "Perla Nera" in Alessandria.

At the moment the project seems definitely dead...it seems...

THE EX-Rara Rap-(Lala Records-Holland-1988)

Dutch band, formed in 1979 in Amsterdam. Initially an anarcho-punk band, over the years they have incorporated many different musical styles such as jazz, noise, free improvisation, and ethnic/world music while still keeping a focus on anarchism, lyrically.

Old Spanish Fanzine focusing on visual art and new wave managed by the Kolctivo Karkoma in Leon.

4 tracks of violent Hardcore Punk on this short Cd-r by the American Deathpact.

 I haven`t got much info about this band and I, just, reckon that this is the same band that released a 7inch called simply Deathpact in 2006.

Great CD Compilation with a bunch of amazing artists.

Edited and distributed by Carsten Olbrich,

musician and owner of the tape label Ebu`s Music, Tape label  & mailorder established in 1988 and covered in this blog a few times.

This sampler shows some catchy tunes mixing electro, minimal, experimental, lo-fi and industrial music, it came out with a small booklet with info about the bands(all the relevant scans included here).
