Alement is a Crust punk band from Philadelphia, PA! A trio into powerful and fast music, they already toured Europe and have out quite a few records.

LES PHOTONICS-Les Photonics-(Self Released-Italy-1999)

Les Photonics was a band from Caserta(Southern Italy) active on the end of the 90s, they were playing a nice form of garage psych-rock with a very 60`s sound touching the surf wave with a good dose of splashed old rock`n`roll.

They released also a  7 inch in 2001 on Psych-Out Records

Italian independent psychedelic garage punk label since 1995, based in Ostuni (Brindisi), run by Cosimo Pecere.

This tape is crafted with 8 very catchy tunes, well recorded and well played. The cover sleeve reports a few info and some pics.
A little obscure jewel for people into old school garage rock.

NO ONES ALLIE-No Ones Allie-(Self Released-USA-1987)

No Ones Allies was an American HC punk band active in the 80s.

I don`t know much about them. This cassette has 11 tracks of furious old school hardcore punk with political lyrics. The folded cover sleeve reports lyrics, pics, a few info and address.

 The recording is very good and it will make happy all the lovers of a certain old fashioned Hardcore Punk.

SOCIAL INSECURITY-Futureless World Demo-(Self Released-UK-2001)

Social Insecurity is a Hardcore Punk band from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
This is their first demo, it was also released as 7 inch with the name Burn All Flags (with a different track sequence) by the Czech label Emergency Records in the same year.

5 tunes of raging HC Punk with political lyrics, the folded cover sleeve report email address and the lyrics too.

CRUENTUS-Seeking The Truth-(Self Released-Italy-1992)

Cruentus was a Death/Thrash metal band hailing from Bari (Southern Italy)! It seems that they were active on and off until 2007.

DISANTHROPE exists since 2006, with different Members. But always sounds like Old School German Hardcore Punk !! Sad, Misanthropic and Political Lyrics are important to us. HATE EVERYTHING !!

This tape came out in a limited edition of 100 copies, it has a folded cover sleeve reporting lyrics and pics.

Lieselotte-Live/Pakita-M.S.1.-(Split Tape-Self Released-Switzerland-1998)

Split tape with two very different acts, on one side Lieselotte from Switzerland and on the other side Pakita from Spain.
There is not much info on the cover sleeve although from the few info I can guess a few things.

Lieselotte plays a fast and angry HC punk with political lyrics sung in French language, just 2 lyrics reported on the cover sleeve, it is a live recording of their gig held on 24/02/1998 in an antifascist festival in Neuchatel(Switzerland).

 Although recorded live the overall quality is pretty good, I imagine their live shows must be really powerful.

Pakita seems to be a one-woman project from Spain. She plays a rather violent form of noise industrial made with machines, echos, effects, feedbacks and filtered vocals,
this session was recorded in her "cave" in August 1998 and the recording is awesome.

Other than this info I am not sure if this tape was self-released and where it was released, I guess in Switzerland.

This is definitely a tape both for people into HC punk and Industrial Noise.

HellisHere-HellisHere-(Self Released-Belgium-2015)

Another band where my friend Bis was involved.I spoke about him when I posted the cd by the crust-punk band Twisted System.

This demo hasn`t circulated much and it is a little gem coming out from the Liege crust punk scene.

I met Bis lately and I asked him to donate it to my blog with a small introduction.
My gratitude for his help and this gift as wave files + video.

"HellisHere formed in Liege(Belgium) at the beginning of 2014,the line up was Phil=Guitar(ex Hiatus,Twisted System),Bis=Guitar(ex Twisted System,Vision Of War),Paskal=Voice(ex Segregated),David=Drums(ex Segregated),Spud=Bass(ex Goat Vomit).

They recorded this demo on February 2015 and played a handful of gigs with a few cool bands such as Doom, Long Knife, Warcry. They played live in Berlin, Ghent, Biel and Liege.

In the same year there was a change of line up but no live shows neither any new recording.

They ceased to exist in September 2018."(Bis)

DIE FIRMA-Die Firma-(Self Released-Germany-1991)

The very first name of this band was Firma Trötsch,they formed in 1983 and their line up was Tatjana Besson(voice+bass),Frank "Trötsch" Tröger (keyboards+voice), Key Pankonin (guitar+voice), Paul Landers (guitar ), Richard "Scholle" Kruspe (guitar), Uwe Gilbert (guitar), Faren Matern (bass+voice), Christoph Zimmermann (Bass), Lothar Greiss (drums), Thomas Schreiber (drums),probably their line up was very unsettled.

They published various live albums, few cassettes and 1 cd, only.

They split up in 1993.

Paul Lander and Christoph Schneider will join, eventually Rammstein.

Their music is a mix of indie rock and hardcore punk, quite original and personal.

STEVE GREEKSHIRE-Worms-(Mini-CD-Self Released-UK-201?)

Steve Greekshire is a musician hailing from Leeds and playing his own rather weird yet genial and personal music mixing various styles. 

These 5 tracks, that make up the album "Worms," are a mixture of eccentric and off the wall songs, mixed in with psychedelic, folk and hard rock.

"Hey ho and Hello to all.
I am a musician and occasionally a visual artist and I am one who likes to challenge his own as well as others, conventions, perceptions, and values. This can be expressed in both playful, as well as an aggressive manor.
If I didn't, or could not do this, I would get bored with myself and would have to accept a dull world, which is always eager to swallow one up.
My music and material are sometimes Bizarre, Surreal, Eccentric, Comical and Off The Wall, because it pleases my sense of things as well as, it helps me, and others to laugh.
Sometimes though, I t can be quite different and more straight forward and express light Summery, or Dark Folk Ballads
It can also contain strong elements of Experimental, Psychedelic Heavy Rock and Blues and angry aggressiveness.

OV/EST UNDERGROUND N6-(Self Released-Fanzine-Italy-1999)

Number 6 of this poetries-mail art fanzine/container released by Ov/Est Underground.

Their aim was to publish poetries translated into Russian/English and Italian...quite a remarkable effort, mixing poetry, visual poetry and mail art.

Many contributions from different sides of this globe, some of them really outstanding.

 I am going to attach here the editorial for this issue.

PISSED PROUD-Pissed Proud-(Self Released-Italy-1993)

This is the only release by this band from Rome, active in the early 90s and playing a raw form of powerful HC punk! They were part of the anarcho-punk scene of the capital playing gigs in squats and spreading counter-information.In this cassette, they assault us with 8 tracks(+ 2 cover songs)of pure violent HC punk with a good recording yet a spartan cover sleeve with very few info.

To complete this post I am attaching here a video of one of their gig in which they share the stage with Oltraggio E Resistenza another @punk band from Rome, they were very good friends and often playing together,both bands had a short life yet they left a great legacy.

This tape and the video are definitely a piece of history of the @punx scene from Rome in the early 90s.

DISGRACE-Last Laugh-(Self Released-Holland-1999)

There are probably a hundred bands with this name and making a research about it become complicated! This band was formed in Utrech (Holland) on the end of the 90s and this tape seems to be their only release! 

13 tracks of raw HC punk sung in English, the recording is kind of low-fi yet it suits very well their songs.

LUCKY FOR FUN-...Vs Skorpio!-(Self Released-Italy-2003)

Lucky For Fun was a full-SKA band including keyboards, trumpet and Sax.

Another band in which Mario Pota was singing, I spoke about him when I posted the music by Rudy e Crudy and Bandiera dell`Odio.

I have asked him to write a brief note about this band.

About the cd, it was just about to be released when Mario left the band and after only 2 gigs the band  broke up, therefore some of them made+distributed just a  few copies with another cover and another title "Pulsar Chi E`?" back in 2003 while Mario is spreading it around nowadays, only as a digital release.

If you are into SKA you should really listen to this one, it is, in fact, a very good cd of this music genre. 

A big thanx to Mario for passing me this astonishing pearl and for the precious info in his little note.

"Lucky For Fun was born on the end of 1997 in Naples(Southern Italy). At the time the SKA in Naples was a genre almost forgotten and we got involved in this adventure with a little conscience about it.

We shared the practise room, home, small vans, dreams and stages until 2002.

Our cultural background was the Neapolitan squatting scene, a small scene where many of us were, somehow, involved.

The band was part of a collective managing, with a no profit attitude, the practise room of the Laboratorio Okkupato SKA of Naples, this Collective self-released various compilations and organized many free gigs in many social squatted centres in Campania.

Eventaully It managed to set up a recording studio for all bands active within it, at the time.

We played around Italy both in commercial places than in squats (the first places were the economic boost to support the second places) sharing the stage, among the others, with Skatalites, Banda Bassotti, Statuto...

We recorded a 5 tracks promo back in 1999 and we changed the line up quite often.

In the meantime something broke up within us but telling you about this it wouldn`t be very interesting...many bands born, many bands die.

Nothing extraordinary, after all.

This is not the story of the band but the one of an album (recorded between the spring and the summer of 2002)that, by me, it should have had a different destiny.

I like to think that there are people who like to have it (even if only as the digital format).

And to be able to discover it for the first time or rediscover it after many years far from all the troubles that came with its release.

It includes the original graphic work."

HOCICO-Autoagresion Persistente-(Self Released-Mexico-1994)

The Mexican group Hocico was officially formed in 1993 by Erk Aicrag (lyrics & vocals) and Racso Agroyam (synthesizer, programming). 
The names are anonymous of the real names Erik Garcia and Oscar Mayorga. Both cousins had been experimenting with electronic music, mixing Industrial and EBM, since they were fifteen years old and formed a band in 1992 called Hocico de Perro. The first live gig of Hocico was on February 18, 1994. Their music can be described as dark and aggressive electro-industrial. Their lyrics are mostly English although some songs are in Spanish.
The Spanish word 'hocico' means snout and is a derogatory term that indicates ugliness (i.e., ugly as a dog's snout).(from Discogs)

BIzarro Distribuzioni-(Self Released-Italy-1991)

Short yet very interesting catalogue edited and distributed by the mail artist, music critic and a real cultural activist: Vittore Baroni.

Mixing music, videos, mail art and graphic works it offers a view about what Vittore was distributing long time ago, all stuff that is definitely out of print now. 

 The astonishing graphic-works by the fantastic Professor Bad Trip enrich this small catalogue making it a pure gem by the intricated world of the underground press from the last century.

AFGHANISTAN-Autodafe 95-(Self Released-France-1995)

Afghanistan is the astonishing project by the French artist Philip Chasset-a Discogs pages about him is here unfortunately with no much info about his activities.

 In this great tape-work, Phil plays a raw form of electro-industrial. His cover version of The Wall by Pink Floyd is simply amazing.

 This is an amazing tape for people into electro/cold wave and industrial music.
