Aphora ‎– Crematore -(Maldoror Tapes-Portugal-1996)

Amazing single side cassette by this obscure Portuguese project active in the 90s.6 tracks infusing acertain kind of industrial mixed with dark ambient and noise.

Maldoror Tapes was a small Portugese label founded by José Vilela, specialized in industrial, ambient and power electronics. All of their releases were extremely limited cassettes (typically 20 or 30 copies each), with a J-card made from an actual photograph, with the title and label number written in rub-on letters. A small photocopied insert was also included with each release, containing the tracklisting and other information.

KIA KARMA-Untitled-(Self Released-Poland/Thailand-2007)

This is an excellent cd of esoteric electronickx!
A kind of very limited production released in 2007 and distributed only among close friends.The nickname of this artist is Caramadeha (or Brat Salo- old nick name).The cd evolves in sonic areas such as ambient-noise,ritual,magick and tantra music.

A bandcamp page about this project offer us other amazing productions,all as free download yet this cd is not there.

There is also a myspace page where you can find more info about this obscure yet brilliant program. Caramadeha is also involved in the musical project Sigill,they released an astonishing split cd with Different State,you`ll find it here.

A very big thanx to Caramadeha for giving me permission to post this pure gem and to Marek for introducing me to such great artist.

GLOD-Gnosis-(Musica Maxima Magnetica-Italy-1995)

Ritual soundscapes mixed with dark melodies recalling some goth rock and industrial sonics tribalism!Glod hypnotize us with their dissonances in this well crafted cd.

TAM QUAM TABULA RASA-In Absentia-(Biotope Art Organization-Italy-c46-1989)

Another astonishing cassette by the legendary Tam Quam Tabula Rasa, I  wrote about them when I posted the tapes Muleacenani and Lacrymae Rerum.

From the distant echoing bells starting the first track we are transported in a ritual ancient site of exquisite oblivion while traveling to other parallels TQTR  with this tape brings us to new dimensions of fears and pleasures. 

The cover sleeve is an archive picture of the self flagellation Christians in Guardia Sanframondi, a small village close to Benevento,this is a rite happening every 7 years.
The label is the amazing Biotope Art Organization label based in fact in Benevento during the 80s before moving to London.
I am a big fan of this band since long time and I love this tape.

NIGREDO-Cantione Profanae(Putrefactio-Portugal-c46-199?)+NIGREDO-Carmina Defunctorum-(Slaughter Productions-Italy-1994)

Nigredo was the project of Paulo Maldoror and Lucrecia Borsh,I spoke already about them when I posted the tape Pro Defunctis by Sol Niger.
"Processed sounds of ritual esoteric feedback distortions mixed with reverberated horns,distant chants and restrained clangs of metal bring us into a dark world of distant voices calling for the awakening of the soul for a new birth."

Those 2 tapes are a great example of esoteric electronickx!!!A must for all the lovers of ritual dark ambient and magick messages.
Cantiones Profanae was released on Putrefactio in Portugal,this was the personal label of Paulo Maldoror,I kind of re-call, it was 1992 while Carmina Defunctorum came out on the Italian legendary cassette label Slaughter Productions managed by Marco Corbelli aka Atrax Morgue in 1994.

THERABAQUD LEIC-Eleutheria-(Ministry of Ultramarine Theatres-Italy-c46-1990)

3 years ago I passed to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog a tape by THERABAQUD LEIC called Panacea,here if you want to listen to it.
Lately I discover into my collection this other tape by Therabaqud Leic!!!A good friend of mine passed me this one  back in 1991.I cannot find any info about this tape that was released on Ministry of Ultramarine Theatres back in 1990.
Therabaqud Leic seems to be still active or at least its myspace page it is updated untill 2007.
This is the project of Gianlugi Russolo,also involved in Subliminale, TV Satanico, S. Biasin Trio.
Yes the cover sleeve is a bad photocopy but the recording is good.
For all the lovers of obscure ritualistic industrial sounds.
