Etica Ascetica - Flyer For The Release :10 Years Anniversary Tape.(Italy/Greece-1999)

This is the flyer that E.A.---this ghost collective already covered many times in this blog--- released to promote its 10 years anniversary tape, a compilation of songs taken from the other tape-works released previously.It was compiled by Raff during the summer 1999 and then released by Iason on his cool label 1000+1 Tilt in Greece at the end of the same year.

EIACULAZIONE AMUSICALE-First Tape-Work-(Unreleased-Not On Label-Untitled-Italy-1990)

This is the very first cassette by E.A. Collective.A ghost project covered many times in this blog now. Some of these recordings were done by a few friends in a couple of discharges back in 1989!! Some others were just experiments with a 4-track recorder with no ideas behind them. A non-sense creativity flow.
Nobody knows why this tape was never eventually released. Maybe it was because it was never meant to be a proper release, but just a fun experiment. Some of those songs were then used for other tape-works, or as re-works for other songs. Most were sent as contributions for compilation tapes later in the 90s.  For this musical project E.A. means Non-musical Ejaculation.

What you have here is the third zine assembled by the multimedia project called E.A.-in the beginning this zine should have been released on the german label Cat-Killer,and in fact Carsten of Cat Killer printed about 20 copies of it before the german police confiscated all his tape label stuff accusing him of piracy-basically they accused him of selling famous artist`s music(very false indeed-Cat Killer label was a small tape-label of electronic industrial music). This happened during summertime of 1995 while this zine it`s been assembled just 1 year before in the graphic room of Pishina Okkupata in Foggia, Just before sending all the masters to Carsten,we thought to make some photocopies of all the originals. this is why we managed to have it back, then Alessandro of Anapeste label offered his help to print it again…this is in few words the story of this zine, all the texts are written in English as we intended to distribute this zine outside Italy .

"Carsten From Cat Killer released this tape-work in 1994. There were only 2 long tracks running pure noise death industrial. Only two people worked on this project. The art work on the cover was made by RAFF, and then re-elaborated by Carsten who printed a limited edition of 93 copies. Each came with a slightly different cover; depending on how he was cutting the two colour copies to set up the cover sleeve. For this project E.A. means Atomic Elf."

ENERGIA ASTRALE-A Waterfall In Your Flight Of Steps-(EE Tapes-Belgium-c60-1998)

"This tape was recorded in August 1997 in the practise room of the Ex-C.I.M. squat in Foggia. Few people took part in the recording of this tape. There were Simona and Stefano on the didgeridoos, Grillo playing guitar, Francesco on percussion, and Mini on drum machine + Raffaele manipulating mixing desk, effects pedals, & microphones: alternating the sound of the various instruments. It was a long jam session that got re-eleborated by Raff a few months after in another southern Italian town with the use of a 4 track-recorder. Eventually Raff worked on the cover sleeve, and then sent all the package to EE Tapes in Belgium. This label released the tape eventually in February 1998 in a limited edition of 69 hand-numbered copies. By many people it is believed to be one of the nicest and most complete tapes by this ghostly collective. For a full info-flyer of the collective E.A.: you`ll find  included in this folder an e-flyer telling almost all the activities developed by this ghost project during the 90s.For this project E.A stands for Energia Astrale,this means Astral Energy"

EIACULAZIONE AMUSICALE-Your Voice Remixing Project-(Self Released-Italy-c46-1990)

I passed this tape to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog back in 2010,so I  gonna re-post here the same info + I am adding a song taken from this tape from my Youtube channel.

 "note: It was never stated that Contaminated Productions released this tape, but in fact this label exchanged it with other active tape labels at the time.
This was actually the documentation for a mail art project launched by E.A. in 1989, and finished in 1990. The idea was to collect different vocals (whatever a mail artist wanted to express with his voice: singing, shouting, talking , wheezing…) and then to create with those vocals a tape with additional sounds. Different mail artists took part in this project, and once the tape was finished they received it as a mail art documentation. 
In fact this tape has never been for sale, but only used to make exchanges. The art on the cover was made with wall paper covering the front plastic case  with a little "window" on the front. On the back there was a glued photocopy with additional info. There was also a cover sleeve including the contacts of the mail artists involved and the song-titles.(all pics included in this folder).
This is pure sound-collage with lots of vocals.

EMBOLIA ASSASSINA-Discarika Screaming-(Contaminated Productions-Italy-c60-1992)

Another tape by the the ghost collective E.A., project covered in this blog already few times.This is the review that I have passed to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog with my original rip of this tape that I am going to re-post here.

"The idea behind this project was to use the sounds from the videotapes from the 1st squat in Foggia, called  Discarika(as it was an old discharge), Raff and Mario with Megawatt`s help and machines extracted the sounds from different videotapes of this squat:there are then sounds of demonstrations, gigs, debates and daily life of this squat mixed with additional sounds/noises created by E.A.!

It is a full fun-experiment of sound collage and field recordings.
The tape was coming in a very special package made of hard cardboard where on the front the tape plastic case was glued on the cardboard and on the same face of the board it was added a photocopy treated with an acid, so to make a blurred graphics work. On the back, there was a presentation of this project both in Italian and English. 

For this project E.A. stands for Embolia Assassina, It means Killing Embolism."

EIACULAZIONE AMUSICALE-De-Composizioni(zine-Self Released-Italy-1990)+EMANAZIONE AFONA-De-Composizioni Sonore-(Contaminated Prods-Italy-c46-1992)

This is the first fanzine by the ghost collective E.A.,a project already covered in this blog few times,here and here and here too.
This fanzine was released in a limited edition of 100 numbered copies,it contains amazing collages,art-works by few mail artists,poetries and "ready made" art-works.The cover was made with wall paper-I tried to provide few extra scans to give a better idea of the "ready made" works.It was mainly distributed via mail,I am afraid the poetries are only in Italian language.
 For this project E.A. means No-musical Ejaculation.

In 1992 this collective decided to work on the same idea  trying  to mix poetry and music. More than 10 people took part in this project, and it is definitely the project where E.A. managed to work as a proper collective even if the people involved didn’t` even know. The tape was recorded with a fostex 4 tracks recorder. The music evolves into areas such as weird pop, sound-collage, sonic poetries, dark ambient and pure experimental music using: microphones, pedals effects, guitar, bass, drum machine, flutes, vocals, loops, tapes, radio, and more. It is the cassette that includes more music genres; although never very well defined. The poetries  were written by various people involved in this project. It came in a plasticized cover-sleeve,150 copies were distributed mainly via mail by Contaminated Prods.This is the only tape that was in 2006 printed on cd,very few copies handed over as gift for close friends.
For this project E.A. means Aphonic Emanation.

ELETTRO ALGEBRA-Damaged Eyes-(Fanzine-Matching Head-UK-1994)

Another fanzine by the ghost collective E.A., this was released in 1994 on the English label Matching Head,label already covered in this blog quite few times now.The fanzine was made of few poetries and poems surrounded by experimental graphix using mainly xerox art.
The cover was  made with an unique piece of mail art stapled on it,making every copy different.
For people into weird graphix and deranged fairy tales.

ESALAZIONE ASFISSIANTE - Suicide,Love,Madness,Plagiarism - (Fanzine,Italy-1992)

Another production by the ghost collective E. A.,this short zine was made of some ready-made works,copy art,strange collages and few mail art contributions by Gianni L., Devis G.,Mario Aquilino and Paolo G..

Limited edition of 200 copies.It was mainly distributed via mail by E.A. and Contaminated Prods.Enjoy it.

ENTRATA APERTA-The Mirror Sheds Tears-(Anapeste label-Italy-C60-1995)

I passed this tape to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog back in 2010, it is not there anymore, so I re-post it here.
Entrata Aperta is just another name for the ghost collective E.A., already covered in this blog.
I am attaching the same little info passed to Vita Ignes...
"This tape was recorded in the room of Raff in Ex Cim squat in Foggia. Danilo and Raff worked on it as a project exploring the dark side of the psyche. It came out as a good example of ritual-esoteric electronix. The main instruments were keyboards and samples. It was released in 1995 by Anapeste tape label. I don`t know how many copies Anapeste printed. By the way, E.A. printed some other copies just to trade them with some tape labels. It came with an info sheet about E.A. The cover sleeve is an art- work by Raff-printed on some zines as well. For this project, E.A. means Open Entry."

BRANDELLI D`ODIO-No Tanax-(Video-Italy-Original Recording 1993>Final Editing 2013-Unreleased]

Another video by Brandelli D`Odio this time not a  long "theatrical performance" but a very short HC Punk song, in fact 1 minute only.This is the very first line up of Brandelli D`Odio and the video was recorded in the practise room of the Squatted Swimming Pool(Social Squatted Center in Foggia-Southern Italy) during October 1993.Gianni was the vocalist,only for this track and the lyric is about the tanax.

The intro and the outro are fragments taken from Electric Tie by Emblema Angelico as those two projects were very closely connected by  strong bonds.
For people into fast distorted music with a short additional electronic deviated twist...

EMBLEMA ANGELICO-Electric Tie(slide show-2013-new and unreleased)+MudMilkLove-(Red Neon Tapes-Belgium-c60-1993)

I spoke already about the ghost collective  E.A. when  I posted the totally unreleased video-performance by Estro Assente.This  ghost collective was active in Southern Italy back in the 90s aiming to spread the concept of anti-art using different media such as:copy art,fanzines,ready made,sculptures,papier mache` masks,mail art,spitfire,naked bodies,theatre actions,experimental music,sound collages,mail networking and more.

This slide show is new and depicts amazing pics of Quinta De Regaleira,an estate located near the historic center of Sintra, Portugal. It is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO within the "Cultural Landscape of Sintra". Along with other palaces in this area (such as the Pena, Monserrate and Seteais palaces), it is one of the principal tourist attractions of Sintra. It consists of a romantic palace and chapel, and a luxurious park featuring lakes, grottoes, wells, benches, fountains, and a vast array of exquisite constructions. The palace is also known as "Palace of Monteiro the Millionaire", from the nickname of its first owner, António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro.
This slide show has quite few esoteric pics and messages and it works very well with the music created by E.A. 20 years before.

This is the tape-work from which this song Electric Tie was taken and I am going to re-post the same review that I passed to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog few years ago.

Red Neon Tapes was a small tape label in Belgium that was only exchanging tapes(no selling involved) Patrick Parent the mind behind this label invited E.A. to release a tape. Raff worked with a few friends to collect noises and sonic expression, and they created those songs with a 4 track recorder. The inspirational points were tribalism, esoteric magick, and pure deconstruction of the musical idea. We don`t know how many copies Patrick made of this tape. The cover sleeve is a collage made by Patrick using copy art copies made by RAFF
For this project E.A. means Angelic Emblem. "
