Great cassette by this belgian musician playing a weird experimental trans cultural electro jazzy/swing jingles using mainly guitar,keyboard and drum machine.His music is very personal and at the times touching and danceble too.

I posted another tape by him:Pour Le Sourire D`Alexia.A discogs page about him is here. Active since the 90s,He released quite few productions and he seems to be still active nowadays.

Red Neon Tapes was an experimental tape label created by Patrick Parent. It produced about 50 cassettes, some of which include "New Hippies" compilation series as well as material by the likes of Mlehst, Telepherique and M. Nomized.I posted already lots of tapes by this label.

EBU-Influences From The Luna Canoe(Red Neon Tapes-Belgium+Ebu`s Music-Germany-c60-1992)

Another tape by Carsten Olbrich,musician and owner of the tape label Ebu`s Music,Tape label  & mailorder established in 1988 and covered in this blog few times.
Carsten is still very active nowadays and you can read all the news and info on his actual webpage.

In this tape He plays long  nice atmosferic dronish electro passages.

It seems that this tape was co-released by Ebu`s music and the Belgian Red Neon Tapes.

ETAT DES STOCKS-Bruxellisation-(Video-Red Neon Tapes-Belgium-199?)[Unreleased On The Net]

I already posted  the soundtrack of this video tape-here that post,I also spoke  various times about Red Neon Tapes, Belgian label managed by Patrick Parent,who is also the mind behind Etat Des Stock and this video.

As far as I know this film is unreleased on the net,it was a long 115 mins VHS tape made of pure experiments mixing video and electronic music,very  good indeed and totally 90s.Patrick describes it as "a collection of poor images and bad sounds"!!!

Big thanx to B.A.O. for the conversion from VHS  to digital format.

TELEPHERIQUE-Alltag-(c60-Red Neon Tapes-Belgium-1991)

The project Telepherique began in 1989 with the intention to explore processes and working with people of different cultures. They started with mail-art projects, co-operations, and communication with people all over the world. Basically, Telepherique is Klaus, Danijela, and Rene Jochim, from Würzburg, Germany, but there were others that became members of Telepherique, because of the massive collaborations and projects: Ulf Harr, Echart Seilacher, Harry Lüftl, Stefan Au, Stefan Alt and Karin... The name Telepherique is the French word for the funicular railway. This name was chosen because of the intention of gaining a view from a higher level.

Another compilation tape released on the experimental tape label created by Patrick Parent. It produced about 50 cassettes, some of which include New Hippies compilation series as well as material by the likes of Mlehst, Telepherique and M. Nomized.
This compilation came in a special folder with a nice graphic layout(pics included here) and it features international artists.

EMBLEMA ANGELICO-Electric Tie(slide show-2013-new and unreleased)+MudMilkLove-(Red Neon Tapes-Belgium-c60-1993)

I spoke already about the ghost collective  E.A. when  I posted the totally unreleased video-performance by Estro Assente.This  ghost collective was active in Southern Italy back in the 90s aiming to spread the concept of anti-art using different media such as:copy art,fanzines,ready made,sculptures,papier mache` masks,mail art,spitfire,naked bodies,theatre actions,experimental music,sound collages,mail networking and more.

This slide show is new and depicts amazing pics of Quinta De Regaleira,an estate located near the historic center of Sintra, Portugal. It is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO within the "Cultural Landscape of Sintra". Along with other palaces in this area (such as the Pena, Monserrate and Seteais palaces), it is one of the principal tourist attractions of Sintra. It consists of a romantic palace and chapel, and a luxurious park featuring lakes, grottoes, wells, benches, fountains, and a vast array of exquisite constructions. The palace is also known as "Palace of Monteiro the Millionaire", from the nickname of its first owner, António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro.
This slide show has quite few esoteric pics and messages and it works very well with the music created by E.A. 20 years before.

This is the tape-work from which this song Electric Tie was taken and I am going to re-post the same review that I passed to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog few years ago.
"This was the first tape that was not released on Contaminated Productions. 
Red Neon Tapes was a small tape label in Belgium that was only exchanging tapes(no selling involved) Patrick Parent the mind behind this label invited E.A. to release a tape. Raff worked with a few friends to collect noises and sonic expression, and they created those songs with a 4 track recorder. The inspirational points were tribalism, esoteric magick, and pure deconstruction of the musical idea. We don`t know how many copies Patrick made of this tape. The cover sleeve is a collage made by Patrick using copy art copies made by RAFF
For this project E.A. means Angelic Emblem. "
