Blood Crooner[Little Photo book by Shaun]+Small But Non The Less Pointless[Drawings By Lee Stokoe]-(Matching Head-UK-199?)

Here two micro zines released by Matching Head small yet very prolific label managed by  Lee Stokoe.It seems to be still active nowadays. 

Blood Crooner is  full of amazing collages/photos cuts+paste with little messages by this unknown artist Shaun.

Small But Non Less Pointless is a collection of "stamp size" drawings by Lee Stokoe,all coming in a blood-red painted  plastic bag.

I am including here also the catalogue that at the time Lee sent me.

Those are incredible samples of the very lively 90`s underground press.

I spoke about this cool label quite few times now posting both zines and tapes.

ELFO ATOMICO-Pestilentia Urit Urbem-(Cat Killer-Germany-c60-1994)

Another tape by the E.A. ghost collective,project covered in this blog quite few time now.I also already wrote about this german label  as I posted quite few tapes released by this amazing label managed by Carsten Vollmer.

Here I am re-posting the same info that I passed to Vita Ingnes Corpus lignum blog.

"Carsten From Cat Killer released this tape-work in 1994. There were only 2 long tracks running pure noise death industrial. Only two people worked on this project. The art work on the cover was made by RAFF, and then re-elaborated by Carsten who printed a limited edition of 93 copies. Each came with a slightly different cover; depending on how he was cutting the two colour copies to set up the cover sleeve. For this project E.A. means Atomic Elf."

EMBOLIA ASSASSINA-Discarika Screaming-(Contaminated Productions-Italy-c60-1992)

Another tape by the the ghost collective E.A., project covered in this blog already few times.This is the review that I have passed to Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog with my original rip of this tape that I am going to re-post here.

"The idea behind this project was to use the sounds from the videotapes from the 1st squat in Foggia, called  Discarika(as it was an old discharge), Raff and Mario with Megawatt`s help and machines extracted the sounds from different videotapes of this squat:there are then sounds of demonstrations, gigs, debates and daily life of this squat mixed with additional sounds/noises created by E.A.!

It is a full fun-experiment of sound collage and field recordings.
The tape was coming in a very special package made of hard cardboard where on the front the tape plastic case was glued on the cardboard and on the same face of the board it was added a photocopy treated with an acid, so to make a blurred graphics work. On the back, there was a presentation of this project both in Italian and English. 

For this project E.A. stands for Embolia Assassina, It means Killing Embolism."

ESTRO ASSENTE-Carne di Fangazione,performance -video (original recording 1993-final editing 2013) new and unreleased-eng.subs.

"As the sun disappear into it's longest and darkest night; before it shall re-emerge to bring forth light and warmth once more to these dark & cold times"  I am going to post here something very special for me and completely unreleased.

Estro Assente is just another name for the ghost collective E.A.,a group active in the 90s and coming from different cities in Southern Italy ,Their aim was to spread the concept of anti-art using different media such as:copy art,fanzines,ready made,sculptures,papier mache` masks,mail art,spitfire,naked bodies,theatre actions,experimental music,sound collages,mail networking and more.

I already spoke about E.A. on Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog when I did pass to Crepusculum the E.A. Tapeography, here if you want to read more and download the tapes.

       
Now about this video;those recordings where made back in May/June 1993,since then these VHS tapes have been forgotten in my parent`s place accumulating dust for 20 years.

Only 1 year ago I managed to digitalize all those  video cassettes and  few months ago I eventually got into the video editing knowledge in order to create something out of them and show it to my friends via the net.I must give a big "thank you" to my friend Terra Umana for the big help and support while working on those videos,without him I would probably be still trying to figure out "how and when"!

I added to this video few info so this introduction is enough,it has english subtitles.
