Amazing furious HC Punk by this italian combo from Southern Italy!
I wrote about them when I posted their rare split tape with Pastafrolla. In that post you can find a small bio written by the drummer Alfredo and the explanation of this funny name.
This cd had an excellent review by Maximum Rock`n Roll magazine, here it is:"Damn
this is really good! I like this more every time I listen to it.
Unfortunately it´s fair to say this record looks really bad. With a logo
stolen from Discharge and some less-than-exciting picture you´d
problably pass this up. But this band is not a Disclone. DISSCIORDA
plays some really out-standing punk that is recorded with the perfect
amount of clarity while remaining intensely driving and raw. I love the
vocals - they are not the least bit crusty, but are instead youth-fully
shouted in both the English and Italian languages with passion and
convinction. In fact the vocals remind me of FINAL CONFLICT. The reason i
review for MRR is for bands like this, I would have not heard this
until it was ten years old otherwise. I suggest that you find it
quickly. Another awesome release from Agipunk." (WK) Maximum Rock n Roll

This is the very first HC Punk band from Benevento(Southern Italy),they were active in the late 80s for few years and they played live only in their area.
Very young and active in the anarchist scene they were the only band singing protest songs and playing very fast music in that small town.
This is their only release,as far as I know it`s unreleased on the net.
To finish this post I am attaching here the only video where they appear playing live.
Puppybarf transferred this demo on cd back in 2006,Agostino passed me the raw video file of that gig with all the bands involved and Guglielmo made the final editing of the Vomito part of this long video. A very big thanx to you 3. This post is dedicated to the memory of Ilario(the bass player). Enjoy it. ~f~a~r~a~w~a~y~ click me
Delirio was a metal band coming from Salerno(Southern Italy) active in the benginning of the 90s,they play a doomish heavy metal singed in english and they are masters of this genre.
The tape is very well played and recorded, few info listed on the cover-sleeve.
It will make happy some kind of metal heads...some thrash and some doom involved.
Get it if you like the guitar solos and the brutal voice.
Bandiera Dell`Odio is an old band from Caserta (Southern Italy),active on and off since 1987, they recorded the first demo in 1989-at the time they were playing a fast and violent thrashcore that became a form of very original HC punk as the years passed by. Here I am posting all the discography of this band and I am adding a short biography that my friend Emmepi8(the singer of this band)sent me for this post. I am also attaching the video of the last cd where you`ll find lots of pics and few short footage taken at some of their gigs. A big thanx to Emmipi8 for his contribution and to Babs for the english translation.
BDO
were born in November 1987 from a group of angry seventeen-year olds
in search of a space where to shout their anger and dissent…
Born
to be fast, they were engaged in practices of self-producing and
self-distributing audio, video and paper materials.
In
1989 BDO (Mario, Fabio, Felice and Gianni) recorded their first and
only demo, accompanied by a booklet containing the thoughts of the
band. 500 copies were soon distributed, while concerts were been
played and proposals were coming for BDO to participate in
self-produced compilations. In the meantime the band’s sound became
more closed and claustrophobic...
The
history of this experience was characterized by continuous changes in
the members of the band, an experience which continued with ups and
downs until 1993, and then ended.
Later
some members of the band founded BRANDELLI D’ODIO. In 1995,
stimulated by his encounter with young musicians of the blooming (so
was it at the time) scene of Caserta, Mario (lead vocals of BDO) took
back a line of reasoning which had been interrupted too early. So BDO
were born again. There was a new line-up and the tracks were played
according to a darker and more nervous vision. Live concerts started
again, and in 1997 ‘Nausea Quotidiana’ [Everyday Nausea] -
created at the end of the eighties - was recorded for an
anti-militarist compilation and as a prelude to a record which had to
be issued a few months later…
But
the band split once again and each member took roads different from
the one undertaken with BDO. Even if everything seemed over, the fire
was still smouldering under the ashes, and in the summer of 2003 the
band decided to meet for a session with the idea to come back to that
never issued record.
With
3/5 of the last line-up and the introduction of a new drummer and a
new guitarist, the band kicked off and the thing worked well, with
live concerts and the beginning of recording in 2004... But the
project stopped once again and what came out was a three-track EP
called Anti-Pasto. In 2010 Sangue Vivo [Living Blood], a live
recording produced at the CPA in Florence, was issued and
co-produced by two dozen completely independent realities, ranging
from Sicily to London. In the course of the years BDO shared the
stage with: No Means No, Kina, Raw Power, Dirteeze, Zu, Indigesti,
Contropotere, Pak, Removal, Contrasto, NIA Punx...
Somehow
we’re still alive; the current line-up is the following:
"As the sun disappear
into it's longest and darkest night; before it shall re-emerge to
bring forth light and warmth once more to these dark & cold
times" I am going to post here something very special for me
and completely unreleased.
Estro Assente is just
another name for the ghost collective E.A.,a group active in the 90s
and coming from different cities in Southern Italy ,Their aim was to spread the concept of anti-art using different media such as:copy
art,fanzines,ready made,sculptures,papier mache` masks,mail
art,spitfire,naked bodies,theatre actions,experimental music,sound
collages,mail networking and more.
I already spoke about E.A.
on Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog when I did pass to Crepusculum
the E.A. Tapeography, here if you want to read more and download the
tapes.
Now about this video;those
recordings where made back in May/June 1993,since then these VHS
tapes have been forgotten in my parent`s place accumulating dust for
20 years.
Only 1 year ago I managed
to digitalize all those video cassettes and few months ago I
eventually got into the video editing knowledge in order to create
something out of them and show it to my friends via the net.I must give a big "thank you" to my friend Terra Umana
for the big help and support while working on those videos, without
him I would probably be still trying to figure out "how and
when"!
I added to this video few
info so this introduction is enough,it has english subtitles.
Enjoy this
video-performance - unique and yet totally unreleased.
