THE RADSTERS-Faster Than Police-(Self Released-Italy-2019)

The Radsters is a band from Naples (South Italy) playing a raw form of straight in your face speed rock mixed with a good dose of energetic punk: think Motorhead meets Turnonegro on a battleground.
Formed in 2008, connected to the squat scene of the Partneopean capital after a few line-up changes they established a very tight combo and have played many gigs in and out the Italian boot.
Their first 7inch "The Radsters" was released in 2012  followed by a full- length cd "The Wild Bunch" in 2015.
This is their last production: a 12 inch with 8 tracks on one side while on the other we`ll find a nice screen-printed original drawing.

You can find the discography on their Bandcamp Page where you can get their music choosing your price, while you can read the last news on their FB Page.
For all of you curious to know more, a very good and in-depth interview
has been published on the webzine Son Of Flies last month.
To complete this post I am attaching the last video.
A big Thanx to Peppe (the bass player) for providing links, pictures and related info.
If you are into fast, aggressive and powerful punk`n`roll then you` ll love The Radsters, this last 12inch is definitely a good one.
Enjoy it.

DISESPRESSIONI N2-(Fanzine-Energeia-Italy-1992)

Number 2 of this zine by the goth-label Energeia, I have already posted the Number 1  and the tape Arazzi by Ataraxia.
Also in this issue some cool short stories, poetries, and some very nice graphics works.
Energeia was a gothic, experimental, industrial and modern classical label and mail order based in Napoli, Italy. Founded by Davide Morgera (drummer for Underage, cult hardcore punk band from Naples) and Antonio Escalona.
An interesting experiment of the underground press from the last century.
In Italian language,only.

ORTOPEDIC QUARTET-Fratture-(Self Released-Italy-2013)

Great cd by this amazing band from Caserta (Southern Italy),  I have already posted their live tape recorded at Tien`A` Ment Squat in Naples on the 8th of June 1996.
They re-formed in 2013 just to re-record some of  their tracks in a proper studio recording.
Therefore in this totally DIY Cd-r,  you `ll find 4 tracks, from that tape, completely  re-recorded and 2 more tracks from the same tape re-elaborated in a studio!
Very good musicians playing a sort of crossover mixing Jazzcore with some personal rock and funky/swing passages.
As far as I know, they have not distributed this cd, there are only a few copies around given away as a gift to close friends.
For all the lovers of creative muzik.
Enjoy it.

Microcellulazione  was a collective of @punx active on the end of the 80s in Naples(Southern Italy).

v.a.-TELLURICA-(Self Released-Italy-c60-1988)

4 way split tape presenting 4 bands from Naples, all into thrash metal altought every band showing his own personality and  strenght:Fuck Order,Desaster,Original Gravity and Ranagi assault us with their full on energy of speed/crossover and  pure tharsh metal.
This is a fantastic cassette documenting the very lively neapolitan thrash metal scene of the late 80s.
The recording is quite good especially thinking that this was all diy.No idea how many copies were printed at the time,it was distributed via mail or during the metal gigs in this area.
This is the same rip that I passed to Radiomoltov blog few years ago,I re-post it here as that link isn`t working anymore.
"Thrash `till death!".

v.a.-CELLULA PRIMA-(Mikrocellulazione,Italy-c60-1988)

Cellula Prima(First Cell) was a compilation tape released by  Mikrocellulazione, a collective of punk anarchists active in Naples(Southern Italy) at the end of the 80s.
They were aiming to squat a social centre to run d.i.y. activities such as gigs, theatre, demos. After a few years of different activities(gigs, demos, leaflets...) they squatted a big place in Soccavo(Naples) in June 1989 and they called it Tien`A` Ment, recalling the mass murder just happened in the famous Chinese square.
This compilation came out with a 20 pages booklet, it is not included here. Sorry I could not find it in my messy archive of fanzines, flyers, letters ...
Enjoy it.

BANDIERA DELL` ODIO-Discography (demo-1989) Anti-Pasto (mini cd-2004 ) Sangue Vivo (full cd 2010)

Bandiera Dell`Odio is an old band from Caserta (Southern Italy),active on and off since 1987, they recorded the first demo in 1989-at the time they were playing a fast and violent thrashcore that became a form of very original HC punk  as the years passed by.
Here I am posting all the discography of this band and I am adding a short biography that my friend Emmepi8(the singer of this band)sent me for this post.
I am also attaching the video of the last cd where you`ll find lots of pics and few short  footage taken at some of their gigs.
A big thanx to Emmipi8 for his contribution and to Babs for the english translation.

Bandiera dell`Odio Biography
BDO were born in November 1987 from a group of angry seventeen-year olds in search of a space where to shout their anger and dissent…

Born to be fast, they were engaged in practices of self-producing and self-distributing audio, video and paper materials.

In 1989 BDO (Mario, Fabio, Felice and Gianni) recorded their first and only demo, accompanied by a booklet containing the thoughts of the band. 500 copies were soon distributed, while concerts were been played and proposals were coming for BDO to participate in self-produced compilations. In the meantime the band’s sound became more closed and claustrophobic...

The history of this experience was characterized by continuous changes in the members of the band, an experience which continued with ups and downs until 1993, and then ended.

Later some members of the band founded BRANDELLI D’ODIO. In 1995, stimulated by his encounter with young musicians of the blooming (so was it at the time) scene of Caserta, Mario (lead vocals of BDO) took back a line of reasoning which had been interrupted too early. So BDO were born again. There was a new line-up and the tracks were played according to a darker and more nervous vision. Live concerts started again, and in 1997 ‘Nausea Quotidiana’ [Everyday Nausea] - created at the end of the eighties - was recorded for an anti-militarist compilation and as a prelude to a record which had to be issued a few months later…

But the band split once again and each member took roads different from the one undertaken with BDO. Even if everything seemed over, the fire was still smouldering under the ashes, and in the summer of 2003 the band decided to meet for a session with the idea to come back to that never issued record.

With 3/5 of the last line-up and the introduction of a new drummer and a new guitarist, the band kicked off and the thing worked well, with live concerts and the beginning of recording in 2004... But the project stopped once again and what came out was a three-track EP called Anti-Pasto. In 2010 Sangue Vivo [Living Blood], a live recording produced at the CPA in Florence, was issued and co-produced by two dozen completely independent realities, ranging from Sicily to London. In the course of the years BDO shared the stage with: No Means No, Kina, Raw Power, Dirteeze, Zu, Indigesti, Contropotere, Pak, Removal, Contrasto, NIA Punx...

Somehow we’re still alive; the current line-up is the following:

Alessandro: drums

Fabrizio: guitar

Roberto: bass

Mario: vocals

ORTOPEDIC QUARTET - Live in C.O.C.A.Tien`a` Ment- (Anapeste Prods -c60-live-Naples-Italy-1996)

Ortopedic Quartet-band born in Caserta(Southern Italy)in the mid 90s and playing a weird yet quite difficult kind of crossover mixing punk, funk, jazz and more.Very good musicians, very good fantasy-creativity.This tape recorded live at Tien`A`Ment(anarchist social squatted centre)in Naples on the 8th of june1996!!!!
Here another great live tape by a band of friends of mine, great musicians and great music too.It was released on Anapeste tape label in 1996 and distributed via mail and diy punk distributions.
I know that they reformed in 2013 just to record those songs in a proper studio recording and  maybe release a cd.
Well for now you can enjoy this tape-it is very good!
Highly recommended for  the lovers of jazzcore, weird punk and  more  strange crossover music.
