Violent Noize was an American fanzine focused on extreme metal: thrash, death, black and all the various subgenres.
In this second issue interviews to Aggression, Death, Wehrmacht, Sacrifice, Kreator, Insanity, Termimal Death + lots of tape/vinyl reviews, news, nice pics and flyers.
Very well done, this is a great example of the lively underground press from the metal scene of the fabulous 80s.
Dinamita Crisis was an independent fanzine published in Spain (Almeria and Sevilla), it was focused on extreme metal with a deep interest in the very Spanish underground metal scene.

Cruentus was a Death/Thrash metal band hailing from Bari (Southern Italy)! It seems that they were active on and off until 2007. A Discogs page about them is here.
This cassette offers us 5 tracks of well-played thrash metal, the recording is also quite good and the folded cover sleeve reports info and lyrics.
Formed in 1986 as a punk band in Cape Town by guitarist Greg McEwan Marriot, V.O.D. are considered "the Godfathers of South African metal".
After incessant performances, underground tape compilation
appearances and several demo effort releases, the band strikes it big by
signing to German record label Morbid Records in 1995. Watershed album "Bloedrivier" (Afrikaans for "Blood River") was released the following year. V.O.D. toured through much of Europe, finally returning back home to play at the 1998 Oppikoppi and 1999 Woodstock festivals.
The group disbanded in 1999 (with March 2009 having seen a reunion tour).
Members have included vocalists Neil "The Viking", Stewart Hendry
and finally Francois Breytenbach Blom; drummers Neil "Thunder",
Dangerous Dan Dion and Paul André Blom; Johan De Jager on 2nd guitar
(for a short period); Radley Clack (Wacky Clacky Radley) and Diccon
Harper on bass duties; with the only constant being guitarist Greg

Not to be confused with the US ambient/EBM band Voice of Destruction that released an album titled Black are the Souls of the Damned with a pentagram on the cover.
According to the band's official website, Voice of Destruction reunited
for one month in March 2009 for a nationwide farewell tour in South
Africa. Also, it is reported that a DVD entitled The V.O.D Archives Vol. II: Live '93 & Europe '95-'96 has been set to be released in late March/early April.
From 2009, the band is no longer active, even if they didn't split up
officially, however the band announced in June of 2014 that they will
perform a reunion show at Witchfest Festival in 2015.(from Encyclopedia Metallum)

Amazing demo by this american band.They play a nice form of prog-avantgarde thrash metal,good recording and few info reported on the cover-sleeve.A page about them is here.

Full lenght album by this Yugoslavian band hailing from Belgrade and playing a very good thrash metal.
The band was formed in 1990 by bassist and vocalist Darko Marković,
however, after their first live appearance, the band disbanded. The
following year, on January,They reformed with the female vocalist Jelena Komnenić and
guitarist Nemanja Kojić, and disbanted in 1995."Where to?" is their 3rd production,with a full colour cover sleeve reporting info + lyrics and a good studio recording this is a very fine album.
They are considered as one of the best Yugoslavian band of this genre and this tape is here to prove it.

Animal Farm was a band hailing from Naples(Southern Italy) and playing a very violent form of thrashcore.This demo offers us 4 tracks very well recorded, good lyrics and few info on the b/w coversleeve.In the last track the backing vocals are provided by some members of Randall Flag.
For all the lovers of thrash metal and crossover metallic HC punk this demo is a killer.
4 way split tape presenting 4 bands from Naples,all into thrash metal altought every band showing his own personality and strenght:Fuck Order,Desaster,Original Gravity and Ranagi assault us with their full on energy of speed/crossover and pure tharsh metal. This is a fantastic cassette documenting the very lively neapolitan thrash metal scene of the late 80s.
The recording is quite good especially thinking that this was all diy.No idea how many copies were printed at the time,it was distributed via mail or during the metal gigs in this area.

Outrage were a thrash metal combo hailing from Rome(Italy) They were active in the mid 80s,they formed in 1984 and it seems that they were active until 1990.
Those demos show us a good band of power thrash metal, both recordings are good too.
Another compilation released by the South African label Sound Action,label already covered in this blog when I posted Bulsa Breakout Compilation,Anarchy Again compilation ,Future Chaos for Future Crimes Compilation and the amazing tape-work by Koos.
