Number 6 of this amazing fanzine,I already posted the number 7 released the same year in October and coming with the cd compilation number 2.
I also already  spoke about D.L.K. Zine  managed by  Marc Urselli-Schärer before He started to cooperate with Maurizio Pustianaz.

Also in this number lots of interesting interviews + tons of reviews of cds,vinyls  and tapes. 

The cd compilation offer us a very good selection of artists playing EBM,Electro,Industrial and similar genres from the sonic grey area.

HUMAN BEINGS-They Live-(Deviate-Holland-1995)

Human Beings were Allert Aalders and  Bert Van De Grift a very prominent name in the early electro/ambient techno dutch scene.

This album is a great example of hypno/ambient techno, it was released by Deviate one of the most popular techno labels from Utrecht, (The Netherlands) operating as a daughter of Jupiton BV until they closed down.

All their old releases(including this amazing album)are now on their bandcamp page as free downloads.

AMARA MALIA-Amara Malia-(Self Released-Italy-2002)

A very nice mini-cd of experimental post-indie rock, 4 tracks very well crafted with  creativity and new ideas that flow smoothly in their amazing music.

They were active in the early 2000 as part of the Laboratorio Occupato S.K.A. a squatted place for workshops,practise room and more interesting activities in Naples(Southern Italy).

v.a.-NI A` VENDRE NI A` ACHETER,SENZA SOLDI CONTRO LE MERCI-BELLA VITA CD-(Self Released-Italy/France-1997)

This cd is  difficult to introduce.
It is a compilation created by different squatters coming from France,Italy and Switzerland.All united by the idea/message of The Bella Vita,that means organizing gigs/dinners/parties and activities(of any kind) without asking any money.
Everything free trying to avoid the "God~Money".A message difficult to explain and to realize yet very possible.
It seems very difficult to find any informations on the net about all the artists involved in this cool cd.
It came out with a very nice colour booklet with info and messages by the artists.You`ll find here all the relevant scans.
I am going to attach a kind of introduction about it.A big thanx to Babs for the english translation.
 GENEVA, TURIN, PARIS, THERE’S VODKA IN THE THAMES 
This CD is part of a series of international projects – Bella Vita in Turin, Voultigeur in Paris and Boulan in Geneva – whose aim is to eliminate money from our relations as much as possible. We’ll start with the closest relations but we don’t want it to remain a practice limited to a group of friends; on the contrary we want it to overflow, expand and involve more people. We can do it. We already did public outings like food sharing in the streets of Turin’s city centre and in Geneva, drinks and itinerant concerts in Paris, where people were invited to participate without taking their purses out.  Everyone offers what they’d like to find with no refund or volunteering duties. Participation has to be ever more subjective, spontaneous and creative. Everyone has to decide how to get what is needed, legally or illegally, it doesn’t matter. Of course this is no revolution, and goods continue to circulate and Swiss banks don’t care about chocolate. This is passion that hits at the core, it’s the elimination of customers who consume, pay and at the very best go away without pissing it off; it’s the elimination of Club Med’s organizers and Fantozzi-like accountants; it’s a possibility to participate fully as protagonists. Above all it’s a more liveable way to be together. It’s not Christian charity because there’s no God’s apostle who gives while all sorts of louses take the impossible. It’s not leftist welfare for the proletarian class without income claiming the right to partying. There are no rights or duties. If there’s no money this can be sorted out in another way, just look around and take things where there are plenty of them. Not only on Saturday night’s parties, each and every day is better.
This CD is a gift. It’s not for purchase in shops nor is it for sale in underground milieus. It’s a proposal that wants to create a thousand others between people in affinity who want to be free, who don’t wait for the revolution to satisfy their itches.
Che Guevara never existed. Man has already gone to Mars.           
The music evolves into areas such as ska,punk,folk,swing,jazz and more undefined music genres giving this piece of plastic a great sense of freedom.Great graphic works and cool writings too.A piece of history of the international european squatters movement.

v.a.-ARRAGGIATI-(cd-N.A.D.A. Tien`A`Ment-Italy-1994)

Arraggiati:it is a neapolitan word meaning Very Angry!It  was an interesting  and totally diy project realized by 8 Neapolitan bands in 1994.It was half recorded in the social squated center Tien` A` Ment!
I spoke about this place when I posted another compilation, the tape Cellulaprima.

The first 9 tracks of this cd are actually classical neapolitan songs remakes by those  very good bands, while the others are original tracks by the same bands.

It came with a nice booklet where you`ll find info and contacts with those artists and their lyrics too.

It was self funded by the bands  themselves whom organized fundraising concerts in this famous squat.

FULL SLAP-Vittima-(Cd-Self Released-Italy-2007)

A great cd by this amazing band from Foggia (Southern Italy)!
They were active in the 90s in their hometown`s squats,I talked about them when I posted the AntiRepression Tape split with Brandelli D`Odio.

In this very good cd recorded in a professional studio,Full Slap show us their great ability as  musicians.They mix hc punk,reggae,funky and a bit of jazz with a very personal touch and the lyrics are  very good too.

It was recorded in Bologna in 1995,They splitted up in 1997 and came out in 2007 as a total diy production released by Renzo alone.

Their music reminds me some stuff of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers and Infectious Grooves,also Full Slap is one of the very first band of Renzo Ruggiero who will,later,play with  Follorum Enslamble and Arkitesi.

This is a very good cd for people into creative crossover of various music styles.Enjoy it.

v.a.-Los Que Alimentan El Odio...Con Odio Se Encontraran-(Cd-Coproduction[Cryptas Recs,Illy Joker Recs,Esperanza Viva Recs]-Mexico-2002)

Long compilation cd with lots of bands hailing from Peru and playing anarcopunk.
It came out  with a nice long booklet with info + lyrics,graphix and contacs of the bands involved.

It seems to be a  co-production between 3 Mexican labels:Esperanza Viva,Cryptas Records and Illy Joker Recs.

All the recordings are pretty good and almost all the band play HC punk sung in Spanish.Expect political lyrics and violent music.

ESQUIZO-FRENIA-Robots Humanos-(cd-Co-production-Colombia-2004)

Esquizo-Frenia plays a violent form of HC punk mixing good doses of  emo-core and some political power-violence.Very well played and with some brutal vocals alternating  the screams and the stop and go they have few new fantasy points bringing some freshness to the usual HC punk style.

It seems it was released as co-production between few labels.Resistencia Recs,Sin Temores Recs,S.A.D. Recs,Direccion Positiva Recs and Paranoica,all Sounthern American punk labels.

For people into fast music and screams a go go...

HOVERCRAFT-Akathisia-(cd-Blast First-Mute-UK-1997-)

This is the first full length  cd by the amazing experimental band Hovercraft.A defunct band from Seattle, founded 1993 by Ryan Campbell (alias Campbell 2000) and Beth Liebling (alias Sadie 7, Eddie Vedder's former wife), out of the ashes of the band called Space Helmet, which also included members of Magnog. They gave their last concert 16th February 2001 in Seattle.
It is rumored that Eddie Vedder was a drummer for this band going first as full-time drummer under the name Jerome230 and then joining them on tour later on.
Together with Mary Hansen, they released an album under the moniker Schema (5).(from Discogs)

SOUND AWAKENER-Five Chapters-(cd-Petroglyph Music-2014)

After exchanging few emails with Nhung Nguyen,an amazing artist from Vietnam,I am posting here (as requested) the cover sleeve of her latest album + description from her archive page.
"Five improvisations recorded on upright acoustic piano. Each piece has a really extinctive character.
Vibrate has layers of reverb and exteneded techniques on piano string. Gather Eternity has loud hiss noise and distorted sound.
Gallery of emptyness is sort of a lo - fi recording. Remembering all passing things and Untold are a mix of piano chords and field recordings.
"Five Chapters" refers to the endless search in life.
My real, native name is Nguyễn Hồng Nhung ( Western name order is Nhung Nguyen ) and I'm from Vietnam.
I used various other name before 2014 but right now I stay with the artistic name Sound Awakener.
I have 5 years under private classical piano training ( from 2002 to 2007 ).
From 2007 to now I'm self - taught, develop my own technique as well as focus closely on composing and improvising.
I still play classical music, as well as other kinds of music nowadays.
My music expresses everything, from life to deep, dark inner corners.I always want to combine different elements and experiment new ideas."

BRAIN OF MORBIUS-Pissing ON The Disco Lights (cd-Morb Prods. 2000-UK)

A very good cd of deviated  harcore punk mixing synth textures,strange vocals,some jazz passages and  surreal lyrics.

I  know they were from South London and active on the end of the 90s.They recorded other  stuff before this cd and it seems that Morb is their own label,the folded cd cover sleeve contains the lyrics too.

I must admit that they have their own very personal style and nobody can argue about the originality of their crazy music and voices.

A must for people into weird stuff.

CYANOSIS-The Ethereal Stairwell Suite-(Mu-Usa-1998)

CYANOSIS - the ethereal stairwell suite cd (Ind) what we have here is a collection of dark ambient textures created with guitar and bass... though they are unrecognizables such, sounding more like synthesizers. this is extremely mellow with a late night feel to it..... like lurking shadows in the dark while the rest of the world lies unconscious and unaware... or an excursion into the more ancient and primal layers of the human mind. very dark and meditative, and i would have to agree with a previous reviewer of this cd as far as a word of caution: if you have emotional problems or you plan on listening to this while on drugs this will definitely bring your mood down fast. kind of like wandering alone through a vast cavern with no light, the dark night, the abyss, in the dark north before the sun is reborn. I do not much about this label,the cover sleeve of my copy is handpainted on hard paper and I guess all the cover sleeves are different but I am not sure about it.
This is a great cd for people into dark ambient and ritual sounds.

Sottosopra Edizioni is a small DIY label from Follonica(Grosseto-Italy), active since the beginning of the 90s and this is their first production.

This compilation was against all the wars and it features various bands playing different styles of music.

TWISTED SYSTEM-Mind Filled With Obsessions-(Self Released-Belgium-2003)

Twisted System was a short-lived Belgian band including ex-members of Hiatus and Unhinged.

My friend Bis sent me this little biography and some nice pics. Big thanx mate :)

For the crust punk lovers worldwide, this is a little gem, hard to find.

"Twisted System was born in Liege(Belgium) on May/June 2001.

First line up with members of Hiatus, Unhinged and Medication Time(USA).

Ross-drums(ex Medication Time)

First gig in December 2001 with Tragedy.

In the summer 2002 Ross leaves the band and Matthiew (ex Hellbound from Canada)

Unfortunately, they published only a demo cd, totally d.i.y. -"Mind Filled with Obsessions"

in 2003 with a print-run of 300 copies.

The end of this band happened during their last tour(France, Spain, Switzerland) in December 2004."

DE-VOID-Maldad (Cd-Self Released-Italy-2002)

I do not know much about De Void,I only know they were from Formia(Southern Italy) and they are friends of Rocco Lombardi who made the art-work for this cd.
I spoke about him in the post about R.A.M.A. sometime ago.

The music of De Void is very interesting, they mix some kind of Arab rhythms and melodies with some punky bits and weird vocals...yes this is very original and I passed it to Misterioso Impossivel blog a few years ago but that link is now unavailable.
