Armed With Anger N5-(Fanzine-UK-1998)

A very good zine made in Bradford on the end of the 90s, with a print run of 1000 copies.
In this issue long and interesting interviews to Kent McClard of Ebullition Recs, Martin Sprouse of Pressure Drop Press, Timojhen Mark of Vaccum Recs, Four Wall Falling, Stalingrad, a report about DIY travelling in Mexico(kind of funny and very entertaining), an article about Class Conflict and the Globalised Economy + reviews of books, movies, music and zines.
A nice graphic layout, pictures and flyers finish a cool example of well done underground press.
Enjoy it.

Arcadia Party Flyers-(Graphic/Flyers-UK-1998/1999)

Here two flyers of the mighty Arcadia Parties held in 1998 and 1999. Arcadia was a very special fetish party supporting the Sexual Freedom Coalition.
I spoke about this organization already 2 times when I posted  Their annual Report 96/97 and Book Of Delights the booklet they were giving away at the people taking part in their Sex Maniac Ball in 2003.
Fot whoever missed these posts then:

The Sexual Freedom Coalition (SFC) is a pro-sex campaign organization and political pressure group based in the United Kingdom that challenges the laws which take away the sexual freedoms of consenting adults and also challenges the media and official bodies that show disrespect for sex.
The Sexual Freedom Coalition is a national UK voluntary organization whose aim is to campaign for sensible reform of Britain's antiquated and repressive laws concerning consensual sexual practice between consenting adults and ensure no new laws creep in to prevent consenting adults enjoying sexual freedom.
The Sexual Freedom Coalition was
formed in April 1996 by a group of people who decided that sex clubs such as Whiplash should not be raided and the 10th Sex Maniac's Charity Ball should not have been stopped by the police, putting its charity at financial risk.
A march was organized starting in Soho and ending at 10 Downing Street where a petition "Sex Please We're British" was presented to the Prime Minister.
Since then, there have been many triumphs and the phrase "the sexual freedom of consenting adults" has become commonly used. The SFC is consulted by the Home Office and the press and is unique in the world. They have joined together with Outsiders and the Erotic Awards to hold conferences and events to allow campaigners to network and work together.
They are a member of Backlash, which was formed in 2005 in order to oppose a new law criminalizing possession of "extreme pornography". (from Wikipedia)

Lieselotte-Live/Pakita-M.S.1.-(Split Tape-Self Released-Switzerland-1998)

Split tape with two very different acts, on one side Lieselotte from Switzerland and on the other side Pakita from Spain.
There is not much info on the cover sleeve although from the few info I can guess a few things.

Lieselotte plays a fast and angry HC punk with political lyrics sung in French language, just 2 lyrics reported on the cover sleeve, it is a live recording of their gig held on 24/02/1998 in an antifascist festival in Neuchatel(Switzerland).
Although recorded live the overall quality is pretty good, I imagine their live shows must be really powerful.

Pakita seems to be a one-woman project from Spain. She plays a rather violent form of noise industrial made with machines, echos, effects, feedbacks and filtered vocals,
this session was recorded in her "cave" in August 1998 and the recording is awesome.

Other than this info I am not sure if this tape was self-released and where it was released, I guess in Switzerland.

This is definitely a tape both for people into HC punk and Industrial Noise.
Enjoy it.

Give It All You`Ve Got-Catalogue-(Loompanics-Usa-1998)

Loompanics Unlimited was an American bookseller and publisher specializing in nonfiction on generally unconventional or controversial topics. The topics in their title list included drugs, weapons, anarchism, sex, conspiracy theories, and so on. Many of their titles describe some kind of illicit or extralegal actions, such as Counterfeit I.D. Made Easy, while others are purely informative, like Opium for the Masses. Loompanics was in business for nearly 30 years. The publisher and editor was Michael Hoy.
Mike Hoy started Loompanics Unlimited in East Lansing, Michigan, in 1975.[1][2] He later moved the business to Port Townsend, Washington, where his friend and fellow publisher R.W. Bradford had earlier located.
In January 2006, Loompanics announced that it was going out of business, and that it was selling off its inventory. In the spring of 2006, Paladin Press announced that it acquired the rights to 40 titles previously published or sold by Loompanics, including the works of Claire Wolfe, Eddie the Wire, and other popular Loompanics authors.[3](from wikipedia) click me

HISSANOL-The Making Of Him-(Alternative Tentacles-Usa-1998)

Amazing second(?) album by this powerful duo: Andy Kerr and  Scott Anderson, they play a personal form of alternative muzik mixing some garage rock, fantasy indie, visionary pop and some bizarre yet genial punk.
It is all kind of smashed and burnt yet it goes with a creative flow of energy that will eventually blow our minds.Somehow they remind me NoMeansNo and Butthole Surfers although this description could be in some way reductive and would minimize their effervescent and innovative spirit.
A great album for spazzed out plastic heads.
Enjoy it.

LUSTER-Ne Quid Nimis-(audiofile Tapes-c60-1996-Usa)+Abandon-(Vuzh Music-Usa-c80-1998)

Quite an interesting project here called LUSTER. The mind behind it is C.REIDER who is also the head of VUZH Music; a label active since the early 90s. C. Reider has collaborated with many artists and different projects [De Fabriek, Tarkatak, ] and also played in the bands: Drone Forest and Grook`d Finger. C. Reider was active in the underground cassette tape labels network back in the 90s and he has also been involved in music journalism; writing mainly for the magazines: Autoreverse and Mouthy. Luster is his solo project. the 1st tape “not named” was released in 1991(diy pre-Vuhz music), the 2nd tape “ne quid nimis” was released on Audiofile tapes in 1996, and the third (and final) tape “Abandon” was eventually released on Vuhz Music in 1998, and then re-released on cd-r in 2002. You can find more info about this project and all the other bands by C.Reider on his webpage here. Also I scanned the cover sleeve of both tapes where you`ll find more info about the music and the people who collaborated with him at the time. ”Abandon” came out with a nice small booklet (included here)where you`ll find plenty of info about those songs. About the music: soundscapes of grey and gritty quietnoise???? A touch of organic dream ambient??? maybe… call it as you like; this is inspiring stuff from my collection.(from Vita Ignes Corpus Lignum blog).
All the old releases on tapes are available as free download from his nice webapge. You will also read more about all those great tapes, lots of info provided there.
For all the lovers of meditative ambient and abstract relaxing noises.
Enjoy it.

Here I gonna attach some info about this tape -info sent me straight from the musicians:
"This was a tape release of our first CD which we intended to be an lp minus the 7" tracks (it contains tracks from our second and third 7" but not the first. Also a comp track.) The vinyl never materialized (a long story why)
It was released by Cryptas Records out of Mexico city. It was never really distributed in the USA and a very limited distributing in Europe, i think. We basically send people the CD and told people to feel free to reproduce."
