Resistance Productions was a small totally diy and anarchist label based in Zurich first and then relocated to Biel (Switzerland). It was managed by Fts,Pablo and Laura.They were active from the end of 80s since 94-95. In their brief but intense life they self-released lots of fanzines(No Sanctuary,Massive Love and more) leaflets and tapes,mostly compilations + booklets. Here I am posting 3 of these compilations with the subject : "Punk is..." In the one called "Punk is One Alternative" there are Pus,Toxic Narcotics,Infezione,In Anger,Deaf Aid,Blurred Vision,Victor`s Hoffnarren,Embittered,Morgue and more. "Punk Is Not Macho Dancing" offers us Earth Citizens,Forca Macabra,Rat Patrol,Alians ,Dawson, War system,Shock Treatment,Blurred Vision,Contempt,Scum,Selfish,Filthy Charity,Agent 86 + more. "Punk is Not a Fashion" contains Dread Messiah,Inkisicao,Natch and Nabel,Terminus,Vex, Flagrants D`Eli,Engrained,Chronic Core,Tbs... All those compilations were coming out with a small and nice booklet talking about their ideas about the title/subject of the compilation and then every band had its own page where publishing lyrics,addresses and ideas/graphix.. About the music,well the titles say it all:those are diy punk tapes,you`ll find here a wide range of punk styles:HC punk,crust,grind,oi ... The recordings have different qualities depending on the band and the circumstances.Some are very good,some are very bad but the creators of those compilations didn`t care much-their aim was to spread alternative ideas and counter-information. All the booklets of those compilations are inluded in the folders with the tapes,so you can read more and get a better idea. Punk is...too many things together :) Enjoy it... \f*a*r*a*w*a*y/

Amazing split vinyl with two Swiss bands from the crust punk scene of the last century. Bagger used to make performances with fire and masks while playing their furious HC punk. I think they were involved with the Schrottbar in Biel.
Lieselotte plays a violent form of grindcore mixed with HC punk...I spoke about them when I posted their Split tape with Pakita.
This record comes with an 8-page booklet with graphics and lyrics(all the relevant scans included here).
A great vinyl for people into violent music with positive ideas and attitude.
Ivich was a crust/screamo band hailing from France and active in the 90s.This is the first demo,they recorded a bunch of 7inches and one lp on Pikaia recs on 1994. I saw them live on may 1994 at the Schrott Bar festival in Biel (Switzerland) and they were explosive. A good demo for crust punks.
"Zine World: A Reader's Guide to the Underground Press was an
independent publication which covers independent and underground media.
It was the largest review zine being published in the United States
throughout the late 2000s. It reviewed mostly zines, but also books, comics, newsletters,
videos and spoken word recordings. The material it covered was
generally available directly from the publishers, and each review
included ordering information and other specifics (such as whether or
not the item is free to prisoners, or the publisher's trade policy). Its
news section covered free speech issues, and other topics of interest
to the independent publishing community. It also included a word of
mouth section, with reports on distros and stores, zine libraries, other review zines, and publishing resources. It published columns by Karl Wenclas, Jeff Somers, Grant Schreiber, Christoph Meyer, Gianni Simone, and other prominent underground writers. It featured illustrations by Alan Lastufka, Sue Clancy, Violet Jones, Cole Johnson, Mike Twohig, and a wide variety of other indie artists.
The zine was launched as Zine World in 1996 by Doug Holland as a more opinionated alternative to Factsheet Five,
but has continued publishing since its larger competitor's
disappearance in 1998. In 1999, it changed its name to A Reader's Guide
to the Underground Press, and began using both names in 2003. It was
once widely decried (in its own letters section, on the Usenet group alt.zines, and elsewhere) for running gratuitously negative reviews (particularly from departed contributor Joe Gallo), but is now less controversial. It now publishes roughly three times a year. After Holland stepped down in 2000, Jerianne Thompson became editor/publisher and supervised the all-volunteer staff. The final issue, #31, was published in 2012.

‘Viktor’s Hofnarren’, squatters (autonomous centre Schrottbar) from
Biel/Bienne (Switzerland) played anarchopunk with a crusty edge. (Later
on they did a split-LP together with ‘Jobbykrust’ from Belfast out on
Maximum Voice.) They were: Steph(ane) Guillet (bass/vocals; Panikeshi
zine & distro), Niggu Rimann (drums), Bänz (guitar), Annette
Wagener/Suri Dawicki (vocals) and Tez (vocals). Annette later joined the
Groninger band ‘P.C.P.’. Steph & Annette were also running Panik

Hiatus-one of the best crust punk bands coming out from the crypt of the 90s,oh yes it was actually them creating the genre that we know as crust punk now days,in the beginnings of the 90s they were the ultimate fast-crust punk band hailing from Belgium and playing fast music for cool people...It was great fun to meet them in Italy back in 1994 and then in Switzerland at the Schrott Bar festival(Biel) and again in Belgium and England.This is a live tape recorded in one of their gig in Slovenia back in 1995,very possibly during their tour of "
El sueno De La Razon Produce Monstruos" lp,that came out on Nabate Recs,little and very cool label from Liege(Belgium)...their home-town. The great thing of this tape is the very good recording of this gig...this tape just delivers us their full force as a great live band and furious alcohol propelled fast musicians. Enjoy it,yes it`s a rare tape :)

This demo hasn`t circulated much and it is a little gem coming out from the Liege crust punk scene.

"HellisHere formed in Liege(Belgium) at the beginning of 2014,the line up was Phil=Guitar(ex Hiatus,Twisted System),Bis=Guitar(ex Twisted System,Vision Of War),Paskal=Voice(ex Segregated),David=Drums(ex Segregated),Spud=Bass(ex Goat Vomit).
They recorded this demo on February 2015 and played a handful of gigs with a few cool bands such as Doom, Long Knife, Warcry. They played live in Berlin, Ghent, Biel and Liege.
In the same year there was a change of line up but no live shows neither any new recording.
