IDOLISE N2-(Magazine-UK-1985)

Idolise was an English magazine focused on weird and original graphics, industrial music and counter information.

In this issue The Threepenny Group, Mail Art Introduction by Guy Blues, info about a few industrial releases and labels and tons of graphics as xerox art, drawings and collages. Some of them quite astonishing...

Annihilate n03-(Magazine-Italy-1989)

Annihilate was a magazine mixing industrial music, politics, visual poetries, weird graphics and more experimental messages.
"Annihilate an experimental magazine of mental emotions in contrast to the happy decadent human beings. Denial, liberation from the obsessive post-industrial rhythm, evasion from an image forced by the controlling dynamics of production. "
In this issue, American Indians, SPK: an anti-psychiatric institution, sexual liberation, Trento anti-army, psychiatric creativity, poetries, Manson`s kids, Annihilate Your Head and some visual poetries.
All in all a great magazine full of interesting articles/ideas.
In the Italian language, only.

Fermenti D`Avanguardia n5/6-(Magazine-Italy-1988)

Very interesting magazine covering the independent electronic/experimental and industrial early manifestations as well as other music genres.A bunch of good journalists and writers contributing with 
short stories, articles, reviews, interviews and other stuff.
 Anybody researching the very first wave of industrial and /or new wave rock in the underground network of the late 80s? 
This magazine is definitely a very good tool.

Under The Flag n9-(Magazine-Belgium-Feb. 1997)

Number 9 of this small yet very good free magazine from Belgium in English language.
I have already posted the number 10 released later in the same year.
Created in Liege by Didier Delhez this free magazine was a great tool for people into industrial/goth/electro and cyberpunk music-culture.
In this issue interviews to Ivan Iusco (Nightmare Lodge, Minus Habens), Diatribe from USA, Testify from Germany, Malaise from Sweden + an American scene report and a good selection of music reviews and general info.

GREEN BRIGADES-Ecologist Paper n7-(Self Released-Poland-1992)

Very informative and well-done magazine about environmental subjects, long articles, and info about green energy, environmental disasters, holistic architecture and more interesting related subjects.

40 A5 pages full of very good essays.
Although created in Poland,this magazine is all in the English language.

ARGOT Vol.8-(Magazine-Gulf Coast Community College-USA-1995)

Very good literary magazine created by the students of West Coast Community College in the USA during spring 1995.
Lots of writers, poets and the like give their contribution to this excellent collection of short stories, poetries, fiction and illustration.
To complete this post I am attaching here a review taken from The News Herald published in November 1995 that give us lots of info about this project.

Fringe Ware Review Issue 8-(Magazine-Fringe Ware-Usa-1995)

FringeWare Review was a magazine about subculture (predominantly cyberculture) published in Austin, Texas. Many of the publication's writers and editors were associated with other publications such as Boing Boing, Mondo 2000, Whole Earth Review, and Wired. The last issue of the magazine was #14, published in 1998. The magazine had an international circulation, distributed primarily by Fine Print, an Austin-based company that focused on 'zine distribution.(from wikipedia)

PUNCHLINE "Age Of Discover Up"- N12-(Magazine-Usa-1992)

Number 12 of this astonishing magazine,it came out in 1992,the year of the celebrations(or anti-celebrations) for the american continet`s discovery.
Of course an issue of Punchline had to be dedicated to the anti-celebrations.So,amazing graphix works and messages against the rape/destructions of the indigenus people/culture and other interesting related issues. For whover missed my other posts about this great magazine:this was the amazing magazine created and assembled  by John Yates-(I must give him a big thanx for giving me permission to post here those fantastic magazines)- and  friends during the early 90s.
Each number dedicated to a different subject.I have already posted the number 7.5"cop"the Number 5 "WARning" and The number 13 "Static Elect Trickery".
This issue has also a very intersting introduction by John.A "must have" magazine for all the lovers of the old underground press.

PUNCHLINE "Cop" Re-issue -n7.5-(Magazine-Usa-July 1990)

Re-issue 7.5 of the "Cop" subject issue Punchline Magazine,I already posted the Number 5 "WARning" and The number 13 "Static Elect Trickery"
This was the amazing magazine created and assembled  by John Yates-(I must give him a big thanx for giving me permission to post here those fantastic magazines)- and  friends during the early 90s.

HeartattaCk Hard Core n2-(Magazine-Usa-1994)

Heartattack Hard Core was a magazine printed in Usa by people associated with Ebullition Records.This is the 2nd number professionally printed on recycled paper.
48 pages full of info about the international HC Punk scene. Letters from fans/contributors,tons reviews of zines and records+tapes,long interviews to Los Crudos and Iconoclast,lots of flyers and punk graphix.
A very nice punk magazine.

Head n7-The Sex Issue-(Magazine-UK-1997)

Another great issue of Head Magazine,this issue dedicated to Sex.
110 pages of very interesting articles focused of the subject including comics also and reviews of books and fanzines,lots of  nice flyers too.
Articles about piercings,ritualism,masturbation,sexual mysticism,sex and disabilities,dioxin,Sexual Freedom Coalition,Annie Sprinkle,tantra,love in the budoir,an interview with Collin brown of Body Electric,soya aware health risks and more very challenging scripts.
The graphic layout is very well done and there are plenty of astonishing art-works too.
A great magazine with lots of very actual ideas/messages.

v.a-15 Years Anniversary CD-Profane Existence n45-(Magazine+Cd compilation-Usa-2004)


DIY punk rock collective formed in 1989 and based in the United States by Dan Siskind and a number of others. They run Profane Existence Records which releases anarcho-punk style releases from bands throughout the world. They also release "Profane Existence" magazine as well as operating Profane Existence Distribution.
The collective folded in 1998, although its distribution arm, then called Blackened Distribution, continued operating. They also put out a few releases under the label Aftermath to help pay off their debts. Profane Existence restarted in 2000.
