Speed Demon n1-(Fanzine-Italy-1992)

Number 1 of this underground homo zine, Speed Demon has been the very first Italian queer publication in the early 90s made by Flavio and Orlando in Torino. I have already posted the number 3.

In this issue: A script about Bash, an anti-homophobia movie by Antony Torres, a report about Epicenter Zone, a social centre in San Francisco(USA), interviews to Nirvana, Vaginal Creme Davis, Pat Califia + reviews and rants.

A nice example of underground press from the last century.

L. S. DIESEL / 2000 DIRTY SQUATTERS - Double Your Money Or Take The Mystery Prize-(Scrap Metal Records-UK-1995)

Amazing split 12" with 2 legendary projects coming from the very underground squatting scene of the 90s. 
I wrote, already, about L.S. Diesel when I posted their classic album "Suicidal Dub" released by Charged in 1996.

2000 Dirty Squatters was a kind of European collective/band born in London on the end of the 80s, a long and detailed biography is here.

Scrap Metal Records was a sub-label of  Scrap Recs, the label founded by 2000 DS, their official webpage offers to us history, pictures, discography and related projects.

In this rare 12" LS Diesel shoot a splendid example of their very idiosyncratic style of electronic music mixing some peculiar hybrid of dub and techno with vocals while on the other side we`ll find the 2000DS playing their distinct and aggressive HC punk.

This is a classic vinyl documenting the great diversity and originality of certain obscure yet astonishing underground culture.

DIAGRAM: A - Diagram: A - (RRRecords-USA-2004)

I already wrote about this American noise project when I posted the tape: Compression And The Process Of Turning Red released by Sound Probe in 1996.

Diagram A is an old project managed by Dan Greenwood who has operated as Diagram: A for nearly two decades. Long before his home, Western Massachusetts had anything resembling an active noise scene, Greenwood was altering old telephones, constructing masks and sleeves with built-in contact mics, amplifying tin cans, and fashioning an insular world of noise, obsessing over his own carefully-crafted systems of failure. RRRecords is an experimental / noise/electronics label run by Ron Lessard, from Lowell, Massachusetts, USA. Each "Recycled Music" release has handmade artwork. Each is different in some way. Its official webpage is here.

The Other Sound was a fanzine made in the USA by a group of people into industrial music and avant-garde culture.

C.O.V.-Prophets Meet The Bongo-(Circus-Italy-1996)

Great 7 inch by the legendary hash-core band from Torino Church Of Violence, formed in the late '80s and active till 1997. They reformed in 2013. Their FB page is here.
It was released by Circus a sub-label of the famous Blu Bus  Italian independent Hardcore Punk label founded in Spring 1984 by Kina and Franti.

v.a.-TRANSIENT CONSTELLATIONS ALL-DAYER Comp #1-(Transient Constellations-UK-2010)

Transient Constellations is a London based promoters and DIY label active since 2010. This is their very first productions, a CD-r that was given away at their all-dayer event held at The Windmill Pub in Brixton (South London) on the 16/10/2010.

It contains tracks by the musicians performing that night, it came out with a short booklet reporting info about these artists (all the relevant scans included here). 

The music is all about digital hardcore, harsh noise, glitch, extreme electronics, breakcore, circuit bending, industrial and the like.
