INCENSE-(Fanzine-France-1992[?])

Here another amazing fanzine by Cyril Herry , I already spoke about him when I posted the zine Le Journal Des Ruines ,the tape Ashes To Ashes and the compilation tape  Anywhere Out Of World.
His label was called Incense just like this fanzine which was one of his first productions,as far as I recall.

It is a very beatiful B/W fanzine with poetries + reports about the bands:Avec Mordor,Misanthrope (in French only) and astonishing pictures.

"The First Incense Paper is about many dark forms,about memories and strange people...It was a lots of work of photography...you can`t read the poetries but the pictures speak like words...I am calling your imagination to use  your deep mind,I hope you like it." those are few words written by Cyril in his letter that came with this great fanzine.

ASHES TO ASHES-Museum Of Dust-(Incense-France -1994)

This is what I believe to be another project by Cyril Herry,also involved in Exotoendo, Lecanora, Ninth Desert.
I guess this is the same artist behind Anywhere Out Of World compilation and the fanzine Le Journal Des Ruines.

This tape contains some symphonic dronish/atmospheric music.

There are 5 different tracks listed in the cover sleeve, but the music itself is just one long piece; so I decided  not  to cut it, but I left it as one "21 minutes flow" of piano/organ symphonic goth-like stuff with noises of pouring water and some vocals. The cover sleeve is in part made of wall paper and has a very nice small picture on the front.

It was recorded in Lausanne(Switzerland) on May 1994.

This is an amazing compilation of atmosferic brutal death metal with very oscure  yet brilliant bands.
Maybe we could call this music esoteric death metal or something similar.

If I am not misteken this was released by Cyril Herry,artist already covered in this blog when I posted the excellent fanzine "Le Journal De Ruines"

INCENSE -Le Journal Des Ruines-(Fanzine-March 1994-France)

Le Journal Des Ruines is a small zine edited and  distributed by Cyril Herry who was managing Incense tape label back in the 90s.He also was playing in Exotoendo,Salamandre and few other projects.Here his blog about graphix and pictures.

This zine is made of poetries about the ruins and it contains very nice pictures in black and white.It`s all photocopied but the quality is excellent,very good pics here.

The poetries are in French with English translations.

A very nice one :)
