HERB MULLIN-Arthole-(Demonosound-Finland-c30-1994)

Herb Mullin is another name for the noise artist Lasse Marhaug: (b. 1974) has since the early 1990s been one of the most active artists in the Norwegian noise/experimental music scene. As a performer and composer he has contributed to well over 300 CD, vinyl and cassette releases over the years, as well as extensive touring and performing live on all continents of the world. In addition to his solo work, Marhaug has collaborated with several artists in the fields of noise, experimental, improv, jazz, rock and extreme metal, as well as working with music and sound for theatre, dance, installations, film and video. In the mid-90s Marhaug started TWR Tapes (still going) and Jazzassin Records (ended 2001). In the 2000s he started the record labels Pica Disk and Prisma Records. In 2011 he started his own print publishing called Marhaug Forlag. He has also been active as an organizer, promoter and producer. Marhaug was born in the northern regions above the arctic circle of Norway, but currently lives in Oslo.(from his own webpage.

URD BARBARIAN-Urd In Bondage-(Major Ego Produkt-Norway-1998)

Urd Barbarian is a duo created by the Lars Skoglund(also involved in (Laakso, Moon Ray Quintet, The)
and Nils Kr. Valle,a bunch of other musicians take part playing different instruments in various songs.
A very detailed review of this album is on Luna Kafe zine, where you can read all the info and related matters. 
The artwork is amazing with a big colour  folded cover-sleeve in which you`ll find some cards and a nice booklet listing the lyrics,all the contributors and friends involved in this album and more artworks.If you like avant-garde,post rock and some kind of Zappa`s music mixed with The Residents and Pere Ubu you should love this one.

In later years Lasse Marhaug has almost become synonymous with Scandinavian Noise. From his "camp" in Trondheim, Norway, he's been launching release after release with brutal and often "witty" noise both under his real name and with groups such as DEL and parts of the Origami Republika projects. Lasse has also worked with some of the "legends" such as Merzbow and Aube, and played before Einstürzende Neubauten on his GB-tour.
Lasse Marhaug also runs the Pica Disk label.
