In Media Res N8 -(Fanzine-Croatia-1996)

 Number 8 of this Croatian Zine, I have, already, posted the Number 9!! It was created by Mark Strpic in Zagreb on the end of the 90s. Although quite short,it has very good contents.In this issue a detailed and funny editorial,long and interesting interviews to Urte (a small DIY label from Germany),Gecko aka Pille Weibel from Switzerland who was running Gultertiertapes, the American @punk band Aus Rotten, a report about Foggia`s Squats + columns, fanzine`s reviews and comics!! All in all a great example of pure underground press at its best. To complete this post,I am adding the editorial for this issue. Enjoy it!

De Fuck To? - (Fanzine-Croatia-1996)

 Anarcho-punk fanzine from Croatia focusing on music and politics.The interviews to foreigner bands are in english while other stuff is in croatian language. Articles against vivisection, squat reports, rants and reviews are in Croatian but there is other stuff in english too,it s a mix` n` mash of info and stuff, a bit chaotic and very punk, yet this is pure underground press!!Enjoy it.

DEMANT/BAD JUSTICE-Live-Split Tape-(Bloody Murderer Tapes-Croatia-1997)

Live Split tape with two Croatian bands playing thrash/Hardcore punk with political lyrics.

It came with an A4 folded cover sleeve reporting the lyrics in Croatian and the English translations.

The overall recording quality is not too bad.
Bloody Murderer Tapes was a small tape label from Zagreb active in the mid-90s.

In Media Res was a small punk fanzine edited by Mark Strpic in Zagreb on the end of the 90s.

In this issue you`ll find a spanish punk scene report,an interview to Selfworth fanzine and the american band Retallion,reviews of tapes and 7inches,a report about Villa Squat in Thessaloniki(Greece) and more random thoughts.

A small yet very creative fanzine.

RADIKALNA PROMJENA-Jaki Ljudi Ne Trebaju Vođu-(Self Released-Croatia-1997)

"RADIKALNA PROMJENA (eng. Radical Change) was an important DIY anarcho-hardcore-punk band, with some dub elements in their music, from Zagreb, Croatia.

One of the founders of the band and the vocalist/songwriter is Domagoj Šeks. He was son of the Vladimir Šeks, that was president of Croatian parliament and still is now very influential politician in Croatian government and 'the word on the street' is that Domagoj, his son, had a really big problem to live with the fact that he is his son, so perhaps that is the reason, why is this tape full of very honest & constructive rebellious attitude against government & society stupidity that (still) gets rapidly even worse every day. Domagoj Šeks tragically died in 2005 in India, because some local group of people, that didn't like him, put the poison in his tea. Some of other Radikalna Promjena members formed dub band called Radikal Dub Kolektiv."(from Pouludjela Pankcina blog)

5 tracks of furious political HC punk, well recorded, all the info in Croatian language only on the cover sleeve of this great cassette.

Fecal Forces Zeen n6-Flesh Issue-(Fanzine-Croatia-199?)

Very interesting punk zine covering lots of non-music issues too. Interviews to bands,reviews of zines and music productions,articles about sexism,cancer research,drug abuse,pornography and few nice comics.

All xerox copies b/w with tiny writings...very old school yet cool.

I am going to attach here the intruduction that Boris wrote for this issue.
