Виолетов Генерал ‎– Д'Емо-(Riva Sound Records-Bulgaria-1993)

"The band Violetov General (Виолетов Генерал) was a Bulgarian post-punk
band formed in 1989 by Emil Valev and was active until 1994. The band
went through new wave , dark wave and punk, influenced by swiss
avante-garde players like Jorg Lenzlinger and Pedro Kobler. They later
incorporated industrial and more experimental sounds into their music.
After their second concert the only member that remained in the band
was the bass player - Evgenii Genchev.
The band has many unofficial releases and bootlegs, but official albums are:
"Dvoinik"/Doppelganger,
"D'Emo"
"Razkazi Za Sofia" (with Rivasound)"info taken from LastFm.

MEANSTREAM-Understand-(Self Released Demo-Bulgaria-1995)

6 tracks on this demo by the Bulgarian Band Meanstream,they play an HC punk reminding me the sounds of few American  straight edge bands.

Good recording and lyrics written in Bulgarian and English.

THE SLAV GROUP-Breathing-(Riva Sound-Bulgaria-1992)

The Slav Group is a  Bulgarian duo formed by Svetoslav Bitrakov and Lubomir Velev.They play an interesting form of experimental electronic music adding a distinctive touch using cymbals,percussions and a Tunisean whistle.There is some ambient here but more frantic experiments follow discreetly getting somewhere close to a magnificent epilogue.
Professional studio recording and info in English too.

v.a.-BULSA BREAKOUT(Sound Action-South Africa & Art of Noise-Bulgaria-c90-1996)

Here a compilation released and distributed by  the South African Sound Action and the Bulgarian distro Art of Noise.I posted already 3 cassettes by this Southern african label here and here and here.
No much info about the bulgarian label.
As for the introduction of this tape I am going to attach here what they wrote in the cover sleeve.

Good punk-grind and  metal bands from those 2 countries,good recordings and an A4 colour copy cover sleeve with pics and addresses make this release a very nice one.

STRATEGY X- demo 95- (Self Released -Bulgaria -1995)

Six songs on this self released demo by this Bulgarian band! There are only few  lyrics translated into English and the song titles are in Bulgarian only.

Their music is HC Punk and they were straight edge and antifascist.

This demo was recorded  in 10 hours only in Sofia.This is all I know about them!

I could not find more info and  I guess they are not active any more.
