THE MOUTH N15-The Last Official Issue-(Fanzine,Poetry,Mail Art-Italy-1994)

The Mouth was a container for visual poetry, graphics works and poetries in various languages. It was created by Alberto Rizzi and Alessandro Ceccoto from the Mail Art Archive in Adria (Northern Italy).

 I have already posted the number Number 1 , the Number 2,3 and 14 

and  Number 13.

This is the last issue, inside its 64 pages contains contributions by various mail artists and poets from around the globe.

Pieces in English, others in Italian, one in Portuguese and one in french language.Lots of graphic works and visual poetries.

The Brain Of The Monster n2-(Fanzine-Italy-1989)

Number 2 of this great fanzine created by Gherardo Boccato and
Alessandro Ceccotto of the Mail Art Archive in Adria (Northern Italy).
Their aim was to talk about unpopular subjects allowing communication via different media. 

In this issue interesting articles about The Monster of Dusseldorf, the freedom of suicide, body art, Xipe Totec(an Aztec deity), Hiroshima Shadow Project, the death penalty in the USA, Tibet`s demons, the secrets of Joujuka, mail art projects and few other rather bizarre  yet creative subjects. 

A very good example of underground press from the last century.

Controcinquecentenario,500 Anniversario Della Scoperta Dell` America-(Mail Art Documentation-Mail Art Archive In Adria-Italy-1992)

This is an amazing mail art documentation about this mail art project launched by The Brain Of The Monster Zine, the council of Adria and the Mail Art Archive of Adria in the year 1992, exactly 500 years after the so-called discovery of the American continent. 

I have already posted a postcard received from Alessandro Ceccotto about this project.

In this long A4 pages documentation lots of great art-works by many mail artists.

Wanted Christopher Columbus-(Poster-Mail Art-Italy+Global Networking-1992)

Mail Art project and Documentation realized by Alessandro Ceccotto,it was 1992 and all the world was celebrating 400 years of the discovery of the "new continet".Quite few mail artists took part to this project which theme was the anti-celebration,I spoke about this project when I posted a very nice postcard printed by the same mail artist on the same subject.

The Brain of the monster was a fanzine managed by Alessandro Ceccotto and Boccato Gerardo active in the end of the 80s,I spoke about it when I posted some of the tapes released by the same zine.

RETURN TO FANTASY/DANISH REEF-Leanyears(The Brain Of The Monster-Italy-c60-1988)

Another very difficult tape to find edited and distributed by the The Brain Of The Monster zine crew back in 1988.
2 bands playing  weird old school industrial,electronic jingles and psychedelic/goth rock...

The Brain Of The Monster was a radical fanzine about music and anti-art conceived by a famous mail artist: Alessandro Ceccotto in Adria. He was running a big mail art archive, and few fanzines as well.I already posted some stuff published by him as Mail Art Archive. I have no idea how many copies he printed of it.The cover sleeve was a xerox copy of red plasticized paper.

v.a.CERIMONIAL-(The Brain Of The Monster-Italy-c90-1988)

This compilation is made of different live recordings from an experimental rock festival in Prato(Tuscany) and the Meeting Anticlericale in Fano(Marche) in 1988. It was released by The Brain Of The Monster, a radical fanzine about music and anti-art conceived by a famous mail artist: Alessandro Ceccotto in Adria. He was running a big mail art archive, and few fanzines as well.I already posted some stuff published by him as Mail Art Archive. I have no idea how many copies he printed of it.The cover sleeve was a xerox copy of red plasticized paper.About the bands: there is not much need for an introduction as many are very famous nowadays. As overall the recordings are not bad if you consider that they were all captured live.
