Ripping Thrash n11/Hell And Damnation n1-Split Zine-(Fanzine-UK-1996)

I have already spoken about Ripping Thrash zine, in fact, I have already posted the Number 14
the Number 12 and  number 13 split with Why Zine.
I also have already written about Hell And Damnation zine as I have posted the number 10
and Number 2.

 

In this Split issue, Steve of  Ripping Thrash and  Colin of Hell And Damnation join forces to create a massive zine with tons of good stuff to read: Interviews, articles, reviews, reports, flyers, pictures...

To complete this short introduction I am going to attach the editorials for this great publication.

Ripping Thrash n13/Why n4-(Split Fanzine-UK-1997)

Ripping Thrash was a zine managed by Steve in Burton-On-Trent during the 90s. He was also running a distro and a tape label called simply Mut.
I have already posted the number 14 and number 12. 
This issue is split with WHY a fanzine created by John in Selby(North Yorkshire).

Interesting articles, reviews of zines and music releases and cool graphix too.

I am including here the editorials of both zines.

BLOOD FUCKING FREAKS/DISORGANIZED-Split Tape-(Tapes Are Cool-UK-199?)

Blood Sucking Freaks from UK and Disorganized from Sweden share  this nice tape with their angry and political HC Punk.Both recordings are pretty good and there is a lyrics sheet included + few info on the cover sleeve.

Tapes Are Cool seems to be another label created by Steve of Ripping Thrash Zine who was also involved in another tape label called MUT  of which I have already posted some cassette releases.

In this number you`ll find a Slovenian,a Minneapolis and Turkish Scene report 1997,Interviews to Disorganized, Assert,Global Holocaust,Riot,tons of music and zine reviews + flyers.

Ripping Thrash-Issue 12-(Fanzine-UK-summer 1996)

10 years anniversary issue of this very good fanzine managed by Steve in Burton-On-Trent during the 90s.

This issue contains:Flath Earth Records report,Cavalera Distro,Reclaim The Streets in Leeds,Resistance Productions Report,Interview at MDM,Punk Is Dead by Barry Farnworth,Smile and Be Happy Records,Aversion,Moonrip,Weird Recs and tons of reviews of fanzines,lps.7inches and tapes.

I think this is a damn good zine with lots of interesting articles and ideas about the punk scene + info about lots of independent projects such as bands,distros,records labels,fanzines and gig organizers.

Here a tape that  Steve released with his distro one year before this Ripping Thrash issue.Enjoy it.

LOUD PIPES/M.O.I.-Split Tape-(Ripping Thrash-MUT-UK-1995)

Split tape of raging and screaming HC Punk from those two bands-Ministry of  Ignorance from Japan and Loud Pipes from Sweden.
It came out from a collaboration between the fanzine Ripping Thrash and the tape label MU.
I guess  the same people were involved in both projects.
All the tapes by this label were partly benefit for Hunt Sabouters Association.
Very good recording and basic info on the cover sleeve.
Released in 1995 I think it is long gone now.

DECADENCE WITHIN / MANFAT- split tape- (Ripping Trash/ Mut prods.-UK-1995)

Split tape shared by  Decadence Within and Manfat,both bands from England and playing a kind of sludge punk,very powerful and aggressive.

This tape was a benefit for Hunt Saboteurs Association,released by Ripping Trash zine and Mut zine.

Good recording,inset graphix and info.

A good one for the punks...
