PUNCHLINE-Read Our Lips-n12-(Magazine-USA-1993)

A fantastic issue of the legendary Punchline magazine, each number dedicated to a different subject.I have already posted the number 7.5"cop"the Number 5 "WARning" and The number 13 "Static Elect Trickery". plus N12 "Age Of Discover Up".
This is the number 14 "Read Our Lips", all dedicated to the subjects: sexism, machism, feminism and gender issues.
Created and assembled by John Yates-(I must give him a big thanx for giving me permission to post here those outstanding magazines)- and friends during the early 90s, in this issue excellent graphics works and a long article about alternative abortion methods.
This is unquestionably a classic of the underground press from the 90s.
Enjoy it.

KIND IM GARTEN-kind Im Garten-(EE Tapes-Belgium-1996)

Kind Im Garten was a project created by Inox Kapell and Stefan Heinze.
In this 90 minutes cassette, they play a sort of mix`n`mash of styles going thru some electro, drone, minimal and avantgarde spazzed out jingles.

I have posted many tapes by this amazing Belgian label, it is still active and here you`ll find their webpage.
Enjoy it.

AUS ROTTEN-Live At MKNZ-(Atomic Fart-Slovenija-1996)

Great cassette documenting a powerful gig by the mighty Aus Rotten...the live recording is just perfect.
Few info from a Wikipedia page about them.
" Aus-Rotten was an American crust punk band active from 1991 to 2001 formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Part of the DIY underground, its members practiced and promoted a philosophy of anarchist politics. The band included lead vocalist Dave Trenga, vocalist/guitarist Eric Good, bassist Corey Lyons, and drummer Matt Garabedian. Spitboy singer Adrienne Droogas would often join the band in their later material. The band's name comes from the German word ausrotten, which translates to "extermination" or "eradication".
Enjoy this gig, very well captured with an excellent recording.

GENDERS-There's Something In The Treats-(Tigerbeats6-USA-2005)

Genders is a duo composed by Evan and Jeans playing an interesting mix of art rock, no wave, minimal sequences + experimental electronic music with a very lo-fi key.
This miniCD was conceived and produced with a very DIY approach.
"Recorded in June 2005 with Evan`s 8 track by us with help by Evan`s Father Curt Johnson..."
Tigerbeat6 is a San Francisco and Berlin- based independent and (mostly) electronic record label run by Kid606 (Miguel De Pedro).[1] The label is run as a DIY operation and releases a variety of electronic music styles, including noisecore, intelligent dance music, bedroom pop, folktronica, and electronica-driven hip hop.[2] The name reflects De Pedro's obsession with cats, which also comes to light in the catalog numbers, all of which start with MEOW. It is also a loose reference to the top-selling teen magazine Tiger Beat. The label's first release was in 2000; it has over two hundred releases in total.[3] A 2001 compilation of the label's output was described as "stripping intelligent dance music of its intelligence[,] often resorting to outright silliness, and sometimes parody."[4] The AV Club described the same compilation as satirizing glitch through "gestures borrowed from punk, indie-rock, and hip-hop."[5]
Tigerbeat6 has four sub-labels: Nibbana, Shockout, Tigerbass & Violent Turd.(from wikipedia)
I really like this, I think is pretty good...
Enjoy it.
