BULIMIA BANQUET-Party My Colon-(Flipside Records-USA-1989)

Bulimia Banquet was a very unique alternative punk band from Los Angeles and the South Bay of California, USA, who formed in 1985 and consisted of Ingrid Baumgart, Al Hansford Jula Bell, and Jason Greenwood. Dez Cadena, Mia Ferraro, Travis Johnson, Greg Cameron, and Nick Passiglia were also in the band for a period of time. The band put out two albums with Flipside: Eat Fats Die Young and Party my Colon. They put out a single of Curse Me/Replete with Piece of Mind Records and were on numerous comps including flipside vinyl fanzines, and 2 Triple X comps. One was Welcome to Our Nightmare, and the other was the Triple X comp Gabba Gabba Hey. The band was featured in Lisa Rose Apramian's riot grrl documentary, Not Bad for a Girl and as well as a Larry Wessel documentary on underground Los Angeles. They toured the U.S. and Europe as well as Canada and parts of Mexico. They also put out two videos: Curse me and Dine or Die.(from ReverbNation).
I have posted a live tape with a  good recording by this great band, you`ll find it here.
and also their first album Eat Fats, Die Young
To finish this post I am attaching one video from their reunion in 2011.
Enjoy it.

SMERSH-A Murder Of Crows-(Atlas King-USA-1984)

Smersh was Mike Mangino and Chris Shepard. And from 1981 until 1994 they released far too many cassette tapes. They also contributed to far too many compilations throughout the known world. In the early eighties, they established a unique sound that is known and loved, combining cheap electronics and wild guitar sounds with distorted vocals. They were, in fact, a bit The Ramones of the industrial scene. But were they industrial? The Smersh sound had so many faces that it is next to impossible to categorize their music. Smersh recorded on most Monday evenings for a couple of hours. Each song was improvised over the course of the evening and then recorded. Once it was finished they never played it again. They never rehearsed, they couldn't read music,
and they never played live.(from their official webpage)
Here a very intersting interview with Mike Mangino conducted by Dmitry Vasilyev in August 2000.
Enjoy it.

PUNKAMINAZIONE N5-(Fanzine/Bulletin-Italy-March 1985)

Punkaminazione was a bulletin of connection, communication, information and coordination assembled by groups, labels and collectives of the Italian punk scene in the early 80s.

A very similar experience was experimented in the early 90s and it was called La Lega dei Furiosi.
Punkaminazione was not a proper fanzine but a container of experiences shared by people with the same ideas and aims:anti-militarism, squatting, anarchism, punk music as political message.
In this issue we find contributions by different collectives and individuals from many places of the Italian boots:Bari, Aosta, Grosseto, Genova, Savona, Udine, Savona, Lecco, Macerata, Milano... and writings about pollution, green energy, squatting and evictions of social centers, riots, punk gigs.
This is a piece of history of the Italian Punk scene, only in Italian Language.

v.a.-Elektronik Sampler-(Transmitter Cassetten-Germany-1983)

A rather rare old sampler of  early electronic experiments touching the no wave, the synth pop,the ambient and the mininal wave.
Private release on Transmitter Cassetten (TC 64) 1983.
The Schnitzler tracks are previously unreleased but based on music material from the 6xCass - 'Container'.
Transmitter Cassetten was a German label founded in 1980 by Lutz Berger and Werner Pieper, specialising in esoterica and "media experiments". It was closed down in 1995. It was associated to Grüner Zweig and Werner Pieper's MedienXperimente.
The successor label for CDs is Transmitter
Enjoy it.
